CUSTOMIZED MACHINES AND PROCESS IMPLEMENTATION FOR SMART COMPOSITE PRODUCTION BACKGROUND In 1965, we started manufacturing machine tools that allowed our customers to reach micrometrical precision machining. In 1973, COMEC Innovative was affiliated with UCIMU SISTEMI PER PRODURRE, the Italian Association that brings together the most qualified manufacturers of machine tools and components. Since 1990, we have started the designing and manufacturing of automated assembly lines, equipped to test 100% of the production, to guarantee the highest capability by integrating advanced torque & angle controls, force & pressure controls, vision devices, stress controls, thermal controls, etc. Since 1997, we have started the designing and manufacturing of machine for hi- speed personal care production. Over the past 10 years, we have decided to transfer our expertise to the composite process, designing and manufacturing a new special machines generation. Today, more than 50 years of experience as advanced automation integrators, and more than 10 years of direct experience in composite technology, allow us to design automated processes with high standards of OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency). The R&D network of Comec with more of 20 years of history about composite applications, allows us to support customers in the design of innovative parts/process. Our 50 years of continuous presence in high technology applications is the best guarantee about the quality of our working method and the quality our machines. Our expertise in machine tools is the characteristics of each of our designing: each machine is strong and highly accurate. COMEC Innovative is located in the center of Italy, on the Adriatic coast. The company operates in a plant of its own property fitted with a workshop for mechanical machining and a testing laboratory. COMEC Innovative has a mechanical design department, an electrical design department, a software design department and an after sale service department. COMEC Innovative designs with the last software versions for advanced analysis. AFTER SALE SERVICE COMEC Innovative offers service agreements with specific SLA (Service Level Agreement). The after sale service has a large stock of spare parts to manage the critical maintenance activities, a department for "on-site services" and a department for comprehensive phone support. COMEC Innovative is able to equip its machines with telecontrol & teleservice for remote diagnostic. TOTAL QUALITY COMEC Innovative QMS is certificated ISO 9001:2008 about “ design, manufacturing of special machine for automatic application, machine tools, industrial maintenance, retrofitting”.
