The first stop is at Carrara's famously majestic marble quarries, reached along
breath-taking mountain roads. The same roads that James Bond races along in
the opening chase of the film 'Quantum of Solace'. Apparently, during the shoot
007 murmured to his director: "in a challenge between an Aston Martin and a
slab of Carrara marble, as things stand, the block of marble is still going to
come off best".
