Il premio JCI TOYP da’ un riconoscimento a quei giovani che eccellono nei loro settori di appartenenza in
cui creano cambiamenti positivi. Premiando questi giovani, la JCI conferisce lo status di leader
socialmente responsabile nel mondo. Chi viene premiato quindi rappresenta un esempio per tutti nel
cercare l’eccellenza e servire gli altri. Le loro scoperte, la determinazione e l'ingegno devono ispirare i
giovani ad essere leader migliori e a creare società migliori.
Dal 1931 ad oggi la JCI International ha premiato oltre 200 persone da 47 nazioni. Le precedenti edizioni
hanno visto vincere illustri personaggi come John F. Kennedy, Henry Kissinger, Elvis Presley, Jackie Chan,
Wayne Gretzky e molti altri, tutti nominati prima dei 40 anni, prima che avessero raggiunto il loro ruolo
di rilievo internazionale. I premiati selezionati negli anni passati hanno rappresentato i massimi risultati
delle nostre sfide e molti di essi hanno poi conseguito risultati ancora maggiori. Tutti hanno continuato a
servire l’umanità nei modi più disparati.

Description
JCI TOYP serves to formally recognize young people who excel in their chosen fields and create positive
change. By recognizing these young people, JCI raises the status of socially responsible leaders in this
world. The honorees motivate their peers to seek excellence and serve others. Their stories of discovery,
determination and ingenuity inspire young people to be better leaders and create better societies.
Since 1983, JCI has honored over 200 individuals from 47 nations. Past recipients of national awards
include such well-known personalities as John F. Kennedy, Henry Kissinger, Elvis Presley, Jackie Chan,
Wayne Gretzky and many more, all named before the age of 40 and before they had achieved national
prominence. Honorees selected in past years have represented the heights of progress in numerous
human endeavors. Many have gone on to even greater achievements. All have continued to serve
humanity in a great variety of ways.
Who we are looking for?
We are looking for youths between 18 and 40 who achieved excellence in one of the following areas:
• Business, economic, and/or entrepreneurial accomplishment
• Cultural achievement
• Humanitarian and/or voluntary leadership
• Scientific and/or technological development
• Personal improvement and/or accomplishment
