Short description of acquired skills and team work
From my course of academic studies, I participated in excavations and laboratory study of several
research groups , both Italian and foreign , who specialize in different historical periods.
In particular, in the various excavations conducted in Pompeii by Prof. A. De Simone , I had the
opportunity to collaborate with the research group of Prof. A. Carandini , University "La Sapienza"
of Rome and the British School at Rome .
A Ferento I was a member of the team of Prof. G. Maetszke the University of Tuscia in Viterbo.
A Garda I worked with the group of Prof. GP Brogiolo University of Padua.
In the years 2003-2005 I had an ongoing collaboration with the Institute of Archaeology at the
University of Groningen ( Netherlands) , during which I acquired the techniques for transforming
into digital data and mapping using GIS platforms .
Since 2005 I have been a member of the research group of Prof. M. Rotili of the Second University
of Naples in which I have participated both in archaeological excavations, both in preventive
archeology projects , collaborating on several archaeological supervision activities .
In 2010 I finished my PhD in Cognitive Methods for Conservation and Promotion of Cultural
Heritage with a degree in Archaeology Territory entitled "Dynamics of settlement in the valley of
Fredane between Antiquity and the Middle Ages." This work has led to the recognition, in the
municipalities of Sant'Angelo dei Lombardi , Rocca San Felice and Guardia Lombardi , of 84 sites
of archaeological interest including three Roman villas .
Since 2010 I work as a freelance archaeological supervision , either through the preparation of
reports preventive archaeological impact assessment , both at the construction site during
excavation activities related to the execution of public works.
The experience gained from the study and field includes different aspects of archaeological research
in the pipeline ranging from the preparation of the documentation of the excavation to the study in
the laboratory of ceramics, by digitizing tablets IGM to the study of aerial photographs aimed at
identifying archaeological traces , from the literature search and archive for the preparation of an
archaeological map .
My many national and international experience , in which I was able to play roles with different
responsibilities , I was also allowed to develop my skills in group work , which is essential to
combine the various skills typically found in a yard.
