Oggetto: Regolamento Europeo n.1907/2006 “REACH”.
La nostra Società continua e seguire con attenzione l’evoluzione del Regolamento Europeo n.
1907/2006 “REACH” e della normativa ad esso collegata in modo da garantire il rispetto dei
requisiti ed il corretto adempimento di tutti gli obblighi imposti, non solo alla propria
organizzazione ma anche agli utilizzatori a valle dei suoi prodotti.
L’interpretazione coerente delle linee guida dell’agenzia ECHA sui “requisiti delle sostanze
negli articoli” espresse in appendice 3, ha condotto l’Associazione Europea dei produttori di
acciaio Eurofer a considerare che i prodotti siderurgici siano definibili come articoli senza rilascio
intenzionale di sostanze.
Per questa ragione le lamiere, le bramme, i lingotti ed i lingotti bramma appartengono alla
categoria degli articoli senza rilascio intenzionale di sostanze e non necessitano di registrazione.
La nostra Società ha registrato le seguenti sostanze:
- Ferro: “Iron (Fe) n. EINECS 231-096-4 / CAS n. 7439-89-6”;
- Scoria: “Slags, steelmaking electric furnace (EAFC) n. EINECS 932-275-6”;
- Scaglia di laminazione: “Mill scale n. EINECS 266-007-8”.
Per quanto attiene all’obbligo di comunicare informazioni sulle sostanze presenti negli articoli
previsto dall’articolo 33, confermiamo inoltre che nessuna delle sostanze altamente preoccupanti
(SVHC), incluse nella lista aggiornata delle sostanze candidate all'inclusione finale in allegato
XIV, è presente nei nostri prodotti in concentrazione superiore allo > 0,1 % in peso dell’intero
articolo.
Si assicura che si continua ad osservare l’evoluzione di questa Lista e nel caso di sviluppi
rilevanti per la nostra produzione verrà data immediata informazione.

Object: EU Regulation n.1907/2006 "REACH".
Our Company continues to follow closely the evolution of European Regulation no .
1907/2006 "REACH" and the regulations to which it is connected in order to ensure
compliance with the requirements and the proper fulfillment of all the obligations , not only to
their own organization but also to downstream users of its products.
The interpretation consistent with the guidelines of the agency ECHA on " requirements
for substances in articles " according to Annex 3 , led the European Association of EUROFER
steel producers to consider that iron and steel products are defined as articles with no intended
release of substances.
For this reason the sheets, slabs, ingots and the ingots slab belong to the category of
the articles without intentional release of substances and need not be registered.
Our Company registered the following substances:
- Iron (Fe) n . EINECS 231-096-4 / CAS no. 7439-89-6;
- Slags steelmaking electric furnace (EAFC) n . EINECS 932-275-6;
- Mill scale n. EINECS 266-007-8.
As regards the obligation to communicate information on substances in articles provided for
in Article 33, we confirm that none of the substances of very high concern (SVHC) included
in the updated list of candidate substances for inclusion in Annex XIV final, is present in our
products above a concentration of > 0.1% by weight of the entire article.
Make sure that we continue to observe the evolution of this list and we will give to you
immediate information about all developments relevant to our production.
