IL CORAGGIO CONTRO LA FORZA:

La Battaglia di El Alamein segnò,
insieme a quella di Stalingrado,
una vera svolta per l’esito della
Seconda Guerra Mondiale, mentre
sotto il profilo politico-strategico
fu importante in quanto pose fine
per sempre all’incombente
minaccia di occupazione dell’Alto
Egitto e alla penetrazione delle
Armate italo-tedesche in Medio
Oriente per l’acquisizione
dei ricchi giacimenti di petrolio
di quei Paesi.

23 OCTOBER - 6 NOVEMBER 1942
The Battle of El Alamein marked, along with that of Stalingrad, a turning point for
the outcome of World War II. On a political and strategic level, was important
because it put an end to the impending threat of occupation of Upper Egypt by the
German-Italian Army, as well as to the possibility of its penetration in the Middle
East for the acquisition of the rich oil deposits of those Countries.
