TODAY MORE PRESENT IN GERMANY
Traditionally strong in offering high technology and reliability products, Duplomatic is a player with the right

Even with a great tradition in selling to the most advanced German manufacturers, the group DMG is just an
example, Duplomatic has invested a lot of energy in the last year to strengthen its presence in this market.
First in 2013 by establishing a new contract for the after-sales, service with the Company Hoehnberg
Technik (www.hoehnberg.com) located near Frankfurt. Thanks to specialized personnel, Hoehnberg is able
to provide a fast and efficient technical support and to ensure the wide availability of spare parts.
From September 2014, Duplomatic has expanded the business of pre-sale through a campaign of meetings
with major German manufacturers to introduce the new Germany Account Manager, Mr. Angelo Pipino
([email protected]).
Mr Pipino has been living in Germany since many years, in a town near Cologne, and has an extensive
experience in technical and application support for companies operating in the automotive sector. His
knowledge on technical applications in the high productivity lines are a major booster for the sale of products
with high technological content.
These two initiatives help to make Duplomatic an attractive company for German customers, always keeping
in great consideration the quality of the service they require.
THE TECHNOLOGIC CORNER: HIGH PRESSURE COOLANT FOR TURRETS
Nowadays typical requests are to bring high pressure coolant to the tool edge to help break / chip evacuation
and to meet the increasingly high performance tools for machining of special materials.
As an alternative to the traditional use of axial rotary distributors integrated into the turret that requires a
substantial impact on standard components, Duplomatic has developed a new "external" solution to the
turret itself, with significant technical and economic benefits.
A special coolant valve mounted in a mini-cylinder, actuated by the same hydraulic users present for turret
clamping/unclamping, is pushed against the tooldisk only after its positioning. A front seal ensures perfect
sealing for pressures up to 100 bar.
The device is all housed in the front flange of the turret, without changing the overall dimension and therefore
without involving the main mechanism of the turret itself.
Among main advantages:

Efficient coolant transmission without leakage and without degradation over time.

Long life due to the absence of wearing.

"Cost effective" solution.
The solution is suitable for all the turrets with hydraulic clamping design as horizontal axis models (SM-H,
SM-BR, DM and DM-TR) and vertical axis model TRM-S.
AND NOW?
This 2014 has not been a favorable year for the Machine Tool market and for all the players involved.
One of the most prestigious Institute for Economic studies (Oxford Economics), twice a years, realizes a
survey on the sector and on its development.
2013 has been a very tough year with the use of MT shrinking of about 15%; and this 2014 should close with
a less dramatic, but still negative, – 2,6%.
In fact, Asia has shown a very negative tendency, the Americas (due to a very low performance of Latin
America) has shown a negative sign too and a weak Europe has not been able to balance the result.
Duplomatic has fought very hard all over the year, so that, even in this difficult situation, we have good hopes
for this next coming 2015 that shall be the recovery year, for which even the economic studies predict a
positive trend.

Forte della tradizione di offrire un prodotto di alta tecnologia e affidabilità, Duplomatic risulta essere un player
con le giuste caratteristiche per ottenere successo in un Mercato ad alte aspettative come la Germania.
Pur vantando una grande tradizione nella vendita ai più grandi costruttori tedeschi, uno su tutti il gruppo
DMG, Duplomatic ha investito nell’ultimo anno parecchie energie per rafforzare la presenza su questo
mercato. Innanzitutto stipulando nel 2013 un nuovo contratto per l’assistenza post-vendita con la Ditta
Hoehnberg Technik (www.hoehnberg.com) situata nei pressi di Francoforte. Grazie a personale
specializzato, Hoehnberg è in grado di fornire un veloce ed efficiente supporto tecnico e garantire un’ampia
disponibilità di ricambi.
Da Settembre 2014 Duplomatic ha intensificato l’attività di pre-vendita tramite una campagna di incontri con
i maggiori costruttori tedeschi per presentare il nuovo Account Manager per la Germania, il Sig. Angelo
Pipino ([email protected]).
Residente ormai da molti anni in Germania, in una località vicino a Colonia, il Sig. Pipino vanta una lunga
esperienza nel supporto tecnico e applicativo per aziende operanti nel settore automotive. Le sue
conoscenze sulle applicazioni tecniche nelle linee ad altissima produttività sono un booster importante per
la vendita dei prodotti ad alto contenuto tecnologico.
Queste due iniziative contribuiscono a rendere Duplomatic un’azienda appetibile per la clientela tedesca
sempre molto attenta alla qualità di servizio che deve essere a loro offerto.
L'ANGOLO DELLA TECNOLOGIA: TORRETTE PER REFRIGERANTE AD ALTA PRESSIONE
Sono di attualità le richieste di portare al tagliente dell’utensile fluidi refrigeranti ad alta pressione per
favorire la rottura/evacuazione del truciolo e per rispondere alle sempre più alte performance degli utensili
per lavorazioni di particolari materiali.
In alternativa al tradizionale impiego di distributori rotanti assiali integrati nella torretta che comportano un
notevole impatto sui componenti standard, Duplomatic ha messo a punto una nuova soluzione “esterna” alla
torretta stessa, con notevoli benefici tecnici ed economici. Una valvola refrigerante speciale montata in un
mini-cilindro, azionato dalle stesse utenze idrauliche presenti per lo sbloccaggio e bloccaggio della torretta,
viene spinta in appoggio al disco portautensili solo dopo il suo posizionamento. Una guarnizione frontale
garantisce tenuta perfetta per pressioni fino a 100 bar.
Il dispositivo è tutto alloggiato nella flangia anteriore della torretta, senza modificarne gli ingombri tipici e
senza quindi coinvolgere il meccanismo principale della torretta stessa.
Tra gli evidenti vantaggi:

Trasmissione efficace del fluido refrigerante, senza perdite e senza degradi nel tempo.

Lunga durata grazie all’assenza di usure e strisciamenti.

Soluzione "Cost effective".
La soluzione è applicabile a tutte le torrette a bloccaggio idraulico ad asse orizzontale tipo SM-H, SM-BR,
DM e DM-TR e sulle torrette ad asse verticale tipo TRM-S.
E ADESSO?
Questo 2014 non è stato un anno favorevole per il mercato delle macchine Utensili e per i suoi protagonisti.
Uno dei più prestigiosi studi Economici (Oxford Economics), due volte l’anno realizza uno studio sul settore e
sui suoi sviluppi.
Il 2013 era stato un anno molto difficile, con il consumo di MU che era diminuito del 15% circa e questo 2014
dovrebbe chiudersi con un meno drammatico, ma sempre negativo, - 2,6%.
Infatti l’Asia ha mostrato una tendenza molto negativa, le Americhe hanno pure mostrato il segno meno (per
un andamento moto negativo dell’America Latina) e una debole Europa non è stata in grado di bilanciare il
risultato.
Duplomatic si è battuta con grande intensità per tutto l’anno così che, anche in questa difficile situazione,
abbiamo buone speranze per questo 2015 che sta arrivando, per il quale anche gli studi economici danno un
trend positivo.
