4 a n.2 e alla Direttiva Europe IMT1011 HALOGEN FLOODLIGHT WHIT MOTION DETECTOR AND TWILIGHT DETECTOR 62621 (150W, 220-240V~50Hz) INSTRUCTION 2 8 9 10 3 4 11 12 13 14 15 5 6 7 Read the instruction before installation. Operation • The infrared detector is equipped with two adjusting knobs (see fig. 3): • Time adjustement: Whit this knob the lighting period of the lamp can be adjusted after detection of the movement perceived. This period is adjustable from 9 seconds to 10 min. Turn this knob clockwise to decrease the lighting value and vice versa. • Daylight adjustement: Whit this knob the lighting value, with the infrared detector becomes activated so that can be detect, can be adjusted. The value is adjustable to 30 lux. Turn this knob clockwise to decrease the lighting value, and vice versa. The field of detection • The field of detection of the infrared can be adjusted 30° in horizontal direction and 30° in vertical direction. By means of horizontal adjustement, the permanent 120° field of detection can range can be reduce or expanded or expanded (see fig. 4). By means of vertical adjustement the detection range can be reducend or expanded (see fig. 5). This way, any false detections caused by movements from neighbouring grounds and from the street are excluded. • The best detection is obtained by approaching the field of detection perpendicular to its axis (see fig. 6). • If the field of detection is approached in the direction of its axis, the infrared detector will, in some cases, respond later (see fig. 7).. Possible problems • Ventilators, such as the discharge from a vapours cap or dryer (hot air movement) can cause the lamp to switch on when it is not required to do so. • Passing cars (warm engine) can also cause your lamp to switch on. • Nearby trees and bushes, sudden charges in temperature and gusts of wind can also cause the switch on. • If the lamp has been placed under a roof or under trees, then the lamps can also burn during daylight hours. • If your lamp does not work them the buld of fuse could be detective or there may have been a failure in the electrical circuit. • Your lamp will not satisfactory if it is placed in such a way that the filed of detection is not walked enough. • If the temperature difference between the object to be detected and surrounding area is too small (in the summer for example), then your lamp will react later. The range of detection is then 10 meters instead of 12 meters for example. • If the electromagnetic interference are strong enough (4K V electrostatic discharge, 3V/m electromagnetic HF-field and 1KV electrical fast transient burn). Then the lamp may turn on unintentionally. You can contact with the manufactory or service department of specialized in the making the cable or equipment if the cable was destroyed..
