Durante il Rinascimento, i mercanti toscani tornavano dai viaggi sulla via della seta portando spezie
e essenze esotiche per preparare le acque rinfrescanti e i balsami profumati richiesti dalla raffinata
corte medicea e nel Cinquecento l’arte profumiera fiorentina divenne la più prestigiosa d’Europa.
Sulle orme degli antichi mercanti Lorenzo Villoresi ha viaggiato in Oriente alla ricerca di materie
prime da accostare ai prodotti della natia Toscana. “Volevo realizzare un sogno, le spezie e le essenze
mi affascinavano: la profumeria è diventata così il mio studio e la mia professione”. Suggestioni e
influenze di paesi lontani danno vita a originali collezioni di fragranze personali, profumi e accessori
per il bagno e per la casa. L’intenso sentore dei legni d’Oriente, le resine profumate che si consumano
nei bruciaincensi, l’abbraccio sensuale dei muschi e delle spezie, le note odorose della macchia

Lorenzo Villoresi practises the art of perfumery in his studio in the heart of Florence. During the
Renaissance Tuscan merchants plied the Silk Road for the rare spices and essences used to prepare
refreshing waters and fragrant balms for the refined Medici court. In the 16th century the Florentine
perfumery art became the most prestigious in Europe. In the footsteps of the ancient merchants,
Lorenzo Villoresi has travelled to the Orient in his search for raw materials to be combined with the
products of his native Tuscany. “I wanted to realize a dream. Spices and essences fascinated me.
Perfumery became my passion and my profession”. Suggestions and influences from far-away lands give
life to original collections of personal fragrances, perfumes and accessories for the bath and the home.
The aroma of Oriental woods, the fragrance of natural resins in the incense burners, the sensual embrace
of musk and spices, the scents of Tuscan countryside lead the visitor in an extraordinary olfactory
