illoresi Est sorge sull'Autostrada Milano-Laghi, lungo
una tratta che, con un flusso di circa 30 milioni di veicoli
annui, è una delle più trafficate d'Italia. Disegnata da
Giulio Ceppi/Total Tool, la struttura emerge nella forma di un
"conoide" in modo graduale dal territorio fino a raggiungere
un'altezza di 27,5 m. Allo stesso tempo si immerge non solo
visivamente in esso, attraverso un sistema di 4-20 sonde
geotermiche che raggiungono una profondità di 25 metri e
sviluppano una potenza termica frigorifera di circa 380kw.

si impone allo sguardo come un 'unicum' percettivo.
Visto invece, dall'Autostrada dei Laghi l'edificio
forma, insieme allo storico Villoresi Ovest, disegnato
dal duo Pavesi / Arch. Bianchetti, un grande portale
di accesso a Milano e all'Italia.
Sul piano del funzionamento energetico, è stato
concepito come un organismo tecnologico vivo,
sensibile ai cicli naturali e nutrito, attraverso
l'innovativa combinazione di geotermia e solare
termico, dall'energia della terra e del sole. Oltre a
un sistema di free cooling, che sfrutta al meglio la
ventilazione naturale per il condizionamento e un
sistema di raccolta delle acque piovane e di falda
utile a: climatizzazione dell'aria, irrigazione, toilette
e come riserva antincendio, l'edificio, che si sviluppa
su una superficie di circa 2.500 mq, ha uno scheletro
interamente realizzato in legno lamellare certificato
PEFC. Villoresi Est, caratterizzato per l'utilizzo di
materiali ecocompatibili e al 100% riciclabili, è un
progetto altamente sostenibile realizzato attenendosi
ai principi del Protocollo LEED (Leadership in Energy
and Environmental Design) con scelte progettuali
e impiantistiche tese a ridurre l'impatto energetico
e ambientale e ad assicurare l'integrazione con il
territorio e il paesaggio circostante.
La totale accessibilità dell'area di servizio è uno dei
tratti più significativi di Villoresi: sul fronte del design
di interni rappresenta un'esperienza pioneristica di
abbattimento delle barriere architettoniche e delle
limitazioni alla libera circolazione della clientela.
L'interior design è stato infatti elaborato a partire
dalla molteplicità di esigenze specifiche delle
persone in viaggio (businessmen, famiglie, donne,
truckers, bambini, anziani, disabili, non-vedenti, etc |.
Per garantire una sosta sicura, il parcheggio di
Villoresi Est è dotato di un articolato sistema di
videosorveglianza e di passaggi pedonali protetti.
La pavimentazione del tragitto pareheggio-porta
d'ingresso è identificata da un percorso tattile per i
non vedenti e da una colorazione particolare come
guida per tutti. Nell'area destinata alle autovetture
speciali è presente una segnaletica bilingue, 16 posti
auto per il car pooling, 15 per famiglie o donne
incinte, 2 per ricarica di auto elettriche. L'area ospita
inoltre i servizi già progettati da Giulio Ceppi negli
anni passati tra cui Fido Park, Biker Club, Trucker
Club, che con i suoi 80 stalli risulta essere l'area
attrezzata per camionisti più grande d'Italia.

To ensure
parking has an
extensive system of video surveillance, and protected
walkways. The paving of the parking route-gateway is
identified by a tactile path for the blind and a particular
color as a guide for everyone. In the area intended for
car passengers there are bilingual signs, 16 parking
spaces for car pools, 15 for families or pregnant, 2 for
