 From piazza della Libertà, take viale Matteotti
 At the crossing, turn right and take viale Martiri della Resistenza
 At the end of the straight road, cross and turn left after largo dei Tigli
 Ride over via dei Filosofi and cross the roundabout
 After the railway underpass, keep riding along via dei Filosofi
 At the crossing right before the roundabout, turn right in via della Repubblica
 Before the bridge, turn left and ride over a secondary road aside the Tessino stream bank
 Straight ahead and, soon after an underpass, turn right nearby a newly constructed building

PONTE DI CANNARA – ASSISI (PEDESTRIAN AND VEHICLE USE)
 Ride for 200 m about, till the church of san Donato by the bend
 Take the road aside the church (via Destra Topino) and ride for 2,400 km about, till a crossing by a bend
 At the end of the bend, on the left, there starts a brief lane (200 m about)
 At the end, turn right, cross the road and get on the cycle lane again
 At the end of this section (600 m about), turn left and enter via Montenero
 Follow via Montenero for 3,4 km about (meanwhile, you follow a great bend to the right and then soon left)
till a T-crossing
 At the crossing, turn left and after 200 m about, turn right
 Pass under the railway bridge
 Go on along via San Petrignano untill a T-crossing (700 m)
 At the crossing, turn right, go on for 400 m about and, at the crossing, turn left and take an underpass on
the right
 At the Rivotorto roundabout, take the road on the left and reach the Sanctuary
 After 150 m about, turn right to via della Regola di san Francesco till it crosses via Francesca
 After 3,200 m, turning to the left it is possible to reach the Santa Maria degli Angeli railway station in
1,5km
 After 3,400 m, turn right and take the Strada Mattonata that, in less than 2 km, leads to the Basilica of St.
Francis

