I DUE PODI DOMENICALI
Ancora un altro weekend di successi e bottiglie stappate sul podio per i piloti del TM
Racing Factory Team e come nel GP della Romania anche qui in Grecia, nel piccolo
paesino di Kastoria, fronte al lago di Orestiada, Leok e Herrera salgono sul podio.
La giornata di sabato non e' andata per il verso giusto perché Eero Remes, classe E1,
non ha brillato come il suo solito e lo stesso per quanto riguarda la E3 con Aigar Leok.
L’unico a salvarsi è stato Benjamin Herrera che sino alla fine ha lottato per il podio finale
senza pero' riuscirlo a strappare.
Meglio invece la giornata di domenica con Aigar Leok protagonista nella classe E3 e
Bejamin Herrera nella Youth Cup.
Aigar è riuscito a strappare un terzo posto con i denti perché per il podio finale erano
quattro i contendenti. La gioia del pilota estone è amplificata anche per il rafforzamento del
secondo gradino del podio finale.
Molto simile la situazione di Benjamin Herrera nella Youth Cup, il neo acquisto del TM
Racing Factory Team sta cercando di consolidare il suo terzo posto nella classifica finale
di campionato e anche qui in Grecia come in Romania questi due podi sono linfa e
benzina per il buon esito finale. Il terzo posto conquistato domenica da Benjamin è stato
sofferto tanto quanto quello di Aigar perché anche qui un gruppetto di pretendenti hanno
cercato di salire sul podio.
Ora il mondiale va in vacanza per circa un mese e mezzo per poi terminare a settembre
con il round finale del GP della Francia. Ma i nostri piloti non rimangono fermi a lungo
perché fra due settimane ci sarà la tappa singola degli Assoluti d’Italia di Enduro
BENJAMIN HERRERA
“Ieri, sabato, abbastanza bene. Sono stato terzo per gran parte della gara ma alla fine per
colpa di un paio di errori sono retrocesso in quarta posizione. Oggi invece, domenica,
sono molto felice perché ho conquistato un altro podio. Un ottimo terzo posto che mi
proietta sempre più vicino al podio finale”.
EERO REMES
“E’ stato un weekend difficile e complicato per me. Non riuscivo ad avere il giusto feeling
sia con la moto, sia con il percorso. Per tutto il weekend mettevo in campo la mia consueta
grinta e velocità ma quando leggevo i tempi erano alti. Ora cercheremo di concentrarci per
l’appuntamento degli Assoluti per poi ricaricare le pile per la volata finale e per l’ultimo
impegno mondiale previsto a settembre in Francia”
AIGAR LEOK
“Ieri è andata male mentre oggi ci siamo riscattati e sono salito sul podio. Sono felice
perché anche qui in Grecia ho guadagnato punti preziosi per la classifica finale di
campionato dove al momento sono secondo. Un mese e mezzo di stop servirà per
recuperare le forze in vista dell' ultimo atto previsto in Francia”.
THE TWO SUNDAY PODIUMS:
Yet another weekend of success and cork popping on the podium for the pilots of TM
Racing Factory Team, and as in the Rumanian GP. also here in Greece, in the small
village of Kastoria, on the side of the Orestiada Lake, Leok and Herrera climb onto the
podium.
Saturday did not go well at all because Eero Remes, E1 class, did not sparkle, as he
usually does,and the same goes ,as regards the E3, with Aigar Leok.
The only one to save himself was Benjamin Herrera, who from the start fought for the final
podium, without being able to rip it off.
Sunday instead, was a better day with Aigar Leok,the star in the E3 class and Benjamin
Herrera, in the Youth Cup.
Aigar managed to take a third position by the skin ofn his teeth,because for the final
podium there were four competitors. The joy of the Estonian pilot was amplified ,also for
the re-enforcment of the second step of the final podium.
Benjamin Herrera, the newly aquired, of the TM Racing Factory Team, had a very similar
situation in the Youth Cup. He is trying to consolitade his third position in the final
championship classification. Here in Greece as in Rumainia, these two podiums have
been vital energy and fuel to the good final result.
The third place conquered on Sunday by Benjamin was suffered as much as that of
Aigar’s, because here also, a group of claiments tried to climb on to the podium.
Now the World Championship is going on holiday for about one and a half months, to then
terminate in September with the final round of the GP in France. But, our pilots won’t be
idol for long because in two weeks time, there wiil be the single leg of the Absolutes of
Italy’s Enduro.
BENJAMIN HERRERA
“Yesterday, Saturday, quite good. I was third for a good part of the race, but at the end,
because of a coulpe of mistakes, I was reversed into fourth position. While today, Sunday;
I am very happy because I conquered another podium. A great third position, which
projects me always nearer to the final podium.”
EERO REMES
“It has been a difficult and complicated weekend for me. I did not manage to get the right
feeling, either with the motor or the track. For all the weekend I put in my customary gritt
and speed, but when I read the time, they were high. Now we
will concentrate for the appointmentn of the Aboslute, to then recharge our batteries for the
final flight and for the last World appointment foreseen for September in France”
AIGAR LEOK
“Yesterday went badly while toady we redeemed ourselves and I climbed onto the podium.
I am happy because here in Greece I also gained points that are precious for the final
classification of the championship, where at the moment I am second. One and a half
months of rest serve to recuperate our strength in view of the last act in France”
