The airport

To/from the airport
BUS
To get there by public transport you can either take the regular ANM (800 63 95 25) bus No 3S (€1,
30 minutes, every 15 minutes) or No 14 from/to Piazza Garibaldi, or the Alibus airport shuttle (+ 39
081 53 11 705 ) (€3, 20 minutes, half-hourly) from/to Piazza Municipio or Piazza Garibaldi.
TAXI
Official taxi fares to/from the airport are as follows: €19 from a seafront hotel or from Mergellina
harbour (near the workshop location); €16 from Piazza Municipio; and €12.50 from Stazione
Centrale (train main station).
GETTING AROUND
LOCAL TRANSPORTS
Taxi
Official taxis are white and metered. There are taxi stands at most of the city’s main piazzas or you
can call one of the five taxi cooperatives: Napoli (+39081 556 44 44), Consortaxi (+39081 20 20
20), Cotana (+39081 570 70 70), Free (+39081 551 51 51), and Partenope (+39081 556 02 02).
Ordinary meter rates mean that rides start with € 3,00 on the meter on weekdays, and € 5,50 at
night and on Sundays and public holidays. Supplements occasionally apply, and these are listed in
the attached fares list. Apart from these, the fare depends on journey time and length and is shown
on the meter. A minimum fare of €. 4,50 is charged on weekdays.
Special fixed rates for specific rides within and outside the city boundaries are all-inclusive (i.e.
airport, night-time, baggage, animals, motorway toll and phone booking supplements are all
included). These rates are available to any passenger who asks for this service when they get in the
taxi. Taxi-drivers cannot refuse the request and obviously the taxi-meter should not be
switched on.
The multilingual fares list is given to all taxi drivers and includes both pricing systems (normal
meter and fixed rates). It should be clearly displayed inside the vehicle to enable passengers to
decide immediately which fare to choose depending on their destination.
If any money should be asked for, over and above the fixed rates listed in the attachment, this
constitutes a violation of the regulations and can be reported to the Planning, Promotion and
Control Service for Public Transport, as sanctions apply.

Bus
In Naples, buses are operated by the city transport company ANM (800 63 95 25; www.anm.it in
Italian).
90 min. Ticket costs 1,10 Euro and it is valid for buses, metro, funicolare (cable railway) and
cumana.

From Piazza Municipio: it will takes approximately 10/15 minutes depending on traffic conditions
By bus
From Central Station (Piazza Garibaldi):Bus n. R2 until Piazza Municipio, then bus n. R3 to the
terminal. From terminal n. C21 – 3 stops (to via Orazio and than 3 min walk).
From the Airport: Alibus (Airport shuttle) from Capodichino to Piazza Municipio. Then bus n. R3
to the terminal. From terminal n. C21 – 3 stops (to via Orazio and than 3 min walk).
