Per quanto riguarda il perfezionamento della lingua scritta sono stati assegnati esercizi mirati al superamento della prova
scritta dell’esame di stato da svolgere a casa o in classe.

Nel corso di questo anno scolastico si è cercato di dare alle allieve un panorama significativo della letteratura inglese dall’età
romantica al modernismo, scegliendo per ogni periodo storico le opere ritenute più rappresentative dei diversi generi.
Nello svolgimento del programma, è stata privilegiata l’analisi testuale.
Dall’analisi testuale si è cercato di risalire alle caratteristiche specifiche del panorama storico culturale.
Con tale approccio si sono evidenziate le peculiarità di ogni singolo autore, per cogliere, dove possibile, i temi comuni con altri
autori, facendo uso di riferimenti intratestuali ed extratestuali.
Come strumenti sono stati utilizzati essenzialmente i libri di testo adottati quali:

Altri strumenti: Fotocopie a cura del docente e filmati.

La preparazione e il raggiungimento degli obiettivi sono stati misurati attraverso verifiche scritte:
verifiche scritte di tipo oggettivo e soggettivo, questionari a risposta aperta, e verifiche orali: interrogazioni lunghe e brevi,
interazioni quotidiane tra insegnante e gruppo classe e interventi personali in sede di discussione. Verifiche scritte di tipo
soggettivo: Temi di carattere letterario e comprensioni di brani di attualità e/ letterari tratti dalle prove dell’esame di stato.
