Il Polyx Video Display offre, oltre alle normali funzioni videocitofoniche e di videocontrollo, anche la possibilità di interagire
con il tuo impianto My Home.
Integrazione con My Home
• Scenari:
Permette l’esecuzione degli scenari memorizzati nel Modulo
scenari o nella Centralina scenari.

• Allarmi:
Segnala gli ultimi eventi di allarme verificatisi e la parzializzazione dell’impianto.

• Diffusione sonora:
Permette di gestire la diffusione sonora digitale Bticino.
• Termoregolazione:
Permette di visualizzare e regolare la temperatura nelle varie
zone dell’abitazione e lo stato della centrale.

• Esclusione Chiamata
Disabilita/abilita la suoneria di chiamata.
Se la suoneria è disabilitata si accende il
led (rosso).
• Tasto
Permette l'accesso al menù; conferma la
scelta effettuata.
• Attivazione Posto Esterno/Ciclamento
Attiva l'accensione del Posto Esterno associato e, se presenti, permette la visualizzazione degli altri Posti Esterni/telecamere
(se presenti).

Torna alla schermata precedente, se ci
si trova sulla prima schermata spegne lo
schermo

Su chiamata apre la serratura del Posto
Esterno da dove proviene la chiamata, a
riposo quella del Posto Esterno associato. Il
led (rosso) segnala l'avvenuta attivazione.

All'interno dei menù selezionano la voce
precedente o successiva.

Ricevuta una chiamata il led (verde) lampeggia; premere una volta per rispondere:
il led rimane acceso fisso.

In connessione audio/video consentono
l'accesso rapido alle regolazioni di volume
e monitor.

In questo manuale vengono descritte tutti i comandi gestibili
con il Polyx Video Display. Alcune di queste potrebbero non essere utilizzabili nel tuo Polyx Video Display in quanto dipendono dalla presenza di altri sistemi Bticino (es. Termoregolazione,
Antifurto, Automazione, Diffusione sonora).
Qui di seguito vengono riportati i tre casi possibili di composizione:
1. menù solo per la comunicazione;
2. menù con comunicazione e domotica;
3. menù personalizzato.
• La composizione del menù dipende dal tipo di programmazione effettuata in fase di installazione ed è quindi modificabile solo dal tuo installatore.

L’accesso al menù Principale ti permette di eseguire altri comandi, oltre a quelli prima descritti, e di entrare nella pagina
del funzionamento avanzato (vedi pag.23).

Questa funzione permette l'attivazione di un attuatore o di un
posto esterno. Ad esempio puoi attivare l'apertura di un cancello secondario.
Questa funzione permette la conversazione con altri videocitofoni/citofoni installati nella tua abitazione o in altri appartamenti.

presente l'attuatore luci).
Ti permette di sorvegliare la tua abitazione attivando una delle telecamere presenti nell'appartamento e nelle aree comuni

■ Cicla telecamere
Ti permette di visualizzare una dopo l'altra le immagini riprese da
tutte le telecamere installate. Una volta attivata, il Polyx Video
Display visualizza per 10 secondi la prima telecamera, per poi passare alle successive. Terminato il ciclo, lo schermo si spegne.
Puoi soffermarti sulla visualizzazione di una telecamera premendo il tasto Connessione, così facendo, rimane attiva la telecamera in funzione e, nel caso appartenga ad un posto esterno,
viene attivata anche la comunicazione fonica.

Il menù personalizzato consente un utilizzo più intuitivo delle funzioni del Polyx Video Display. Il menù infatti visualizza solo le funzioni effettivamente presenti nel tuo impianto My Home e il testo
di ogni comando può essere personalizzato in fase d’installazione.
Per questo motivo le schermate che seguono sono da considerarsi
come esempi.
L’utilizzo del menù personalizzato consente inoltre:
• Possibilità di avere nel menù principale o in un’altra pagina
le funzioni STUDIO PROFESSIONALE E MANI LIBERE (vedi pag.
27), altrimenti richiamabili solo dal menù ALTRO.

La funzione Studio Professionale ti permette di impostare l’apertura automatica della serratura in caso di chiamata dal Posto
Esterno. L’attivazione non è possibile contemporaneamente alla
funzione Stato Porta.
La funzione Mani Libere attiva automaticamente microfono ed
altoparlante in caso di chiamata, evitandoti di dover premere il
tasto Connessione per rispondere (la connessione si stabilisce
immediatamente al momento della chiamata).

Questa funzione ti segnala lo stato della serratura, se è aperta il
“led serratura” lampeggia, se è chiusa rimane spento.
NOTA: è attivabile solo se il tuo impianto lo prevede (per maggiori
informazioni chiedi al tuo installatore); non è attivabile contemporaneamente alla funzione Studio Professionale.
Se è attivata, il tuo Polyx Video Display ti segnala se l’impianto
antintrusione ha rilevato un allarme. I tre led lampeggiano alternativamente finchè non viene premuto un tasto per visualizzare
il messaggio (se alimentato localmente il messaggio viene visualizzato in automatico). Per cancellare il messaggio premi il tasto
C durante la visualizzazione del messaggio, in caso contrario la
segnalazione apparirà alla prossima pressione di un tasto.

The Polyx Video Display offers the normal video door entry
and CCTV functions and can also interact with your MY HOME
system.
Fitting in with My Home
• SCENARIOs:
Runs the SCENARIOs saved in the SCENARIO module or in the
SCENARIO control unit.

Enables/disables the call bell. If the bell is
disabled the LED lights up (red).

Activates the switching ON of the Entrance
Panel associated and cycles other Entrance Panels/Cameras if there are any.

Returns to the previous window. If you are
already on the first window it switches the
display off.

When there is a call it opens the door lock
of the Entrance Panel from which the call
was made, at rest that of the associated
Entrance Panel. The (red) LED signals that it
is activated.

When a call has been received the (green)
LED flashes; press once to answer: the LED
shines steadily.

This manual describes all the commands which can be managed with the Polyx Video Display. You may not be able to use
some of them in your Polyx Video Display because they need
other Bticino systems (e.g. Temperature control, Burglar alarm,
Automation and Sound system).
The three possible composition cases are given below:
1. menu just for communication;
2. menu with communication and house automation;
3. customised menu.
• The menu composition depends on the programming in the
installation phase and thus only your installer can edit it.

This function activates an actuator or an entrance panel. As an
example you can activate the opening of a secondary gate.
This function allows conversation with other video handsets/
handsets installed in your home or in other apartments.

2 CCTV functions
■ Cycle cameras
This lets you display the pictures taken by all the cameras installed
one after the other. Once activated the Polyx Video Display displays
the first camera for 10 seconds, then goes to the next. When the
cycle is complete, the screen switches off.
You can stop on the display of one camera by pressing the Connection key. The working camera remains active and if it belongs to an
entrance panel the sound communication is activated as well.

Display functions.
The menu in fact only displays the functions effectively present in
your My Home system and the text of each command can be customised in the installation phase.
For this reason the screens which follow should be considered as
examples.

The Professional Studio function lets you set the automatic
opening of the door lock when there is a call from the Entrance
Panel. It cannot be activated at the same time as the Door State

The Hands Free function automatically activates the microphone

This function tells you about the door lock state. If it is open the
“door lock LED” flashes, if it is closed it remains OFF.
NOTE: it can only be activated if your system allows it (ask your
installer for more information); it can not be activated at the
same time as the Professional Studio function.
If it is activated the Polyx Video Display tells you if the antiintrusion system has detected an alarm. The three LED flash alternately until a key is pressed to display the message (if locally
supplied the message will be displayed automatically).
To cancel the message press the C key when the message is
displayed. If not the signal will appear the next time a key is

In these pages you will find the exact configuration of your
Polyx Video Display and all the functions programmed by the
installer with the Guided configuration procedure.
If the Polyx Video Display has been configured using the
TiPolyxDisplay software the installer will have printed the card
and enclosed it with this manual.
This information is very useful if the installer has to reset the
already existing programming if the Polyx Video Display is replaced or is faulty.

- The audio/video channel may be busy, wait for it to become free and try again
On pressing the OK key the menu does not switch on and
the handset gives a busy sound

When called the handset does not ring
- Make sure that the volume has not been zeroed
(the call exclusion LED is ON)
At the entrance panel it is difficult to hear the caller
- Talk at a maximum distance of 40 centimetres from the
Polyx Video Display microphone
- Check the entrance panel settings with the installer and if
necessary reduce the microphone volume
- You can communicate in PUSH TO TALK mode
(see description on next page)
At the handset it is difficult to hear the caller
- Check the volume setting on the Polyx Video Display
- Make sure that there are no strong noise sources near the
Polyx Video Display
- You can communicate in PUSH TO TALK mode

 Push to Talk mode
Receiving a call from the entrance panel.
Press the Connection key to answer the call.
The connection LED becomes green.
During the conversation you can activate the PUSH TO TALK
function.
Press the Connection key for at least 2 seconds to talk to the
entrance panel.
The LED remains green.

Release the key to hear from the entrance panel.
The LED becomes red.
To end the connection press the connection key briefly.
The LED goes out.
