Take the exit marked ‘Bozen Nord/Bolzano
Nord’ off the ‘Brennerautobahn’ motorway
(A22). Follow the road into the Eggental Valley
and after 20–30km you will reach Welschnofen,
Karersee, Deutschnofen, Obereggen, Eggen and
Petersberg. For Tiers (20km) take the same exit
and follow the signs for ‘Tiersertal/Valle di Tires’.
For Steinegg follow the signs to ‘Blumau/Prato
Isarco’ and there take the road on the right to
‘Steinegg/Collepietra’ (15km).
By train or bus
From the main railway station in Bozen/
Bolzano buses run approx. every 30 minutes
(www.sii.bz.it). Many hotels offer a pick-up
service.
