Grande soddisfazione al box dell’italiana BMS Scuderia Italia che, grazie ad un
incredibile giro veloce di Christian Pescatori ha oggi qualificato l’Aston Martin
n.69 chiudendo al 4° posto in categoria GT. 3:53.611 è stato il miglior crono
dell’equipaggio italiano che domani partirà in 24^ posizione assoluta.
In condizioni meteo più clementi di ieri, il team ha concentrato il proprio
programma di lavoro nel perfezionamento del set-up della vettura e nella
ricerca del treno di gomme più adatto alle condizioni di pista in ore diurne e
notturne.

“La prova che abbiamo fatto con le gomme da gara nell’orario notturno si è
rivelata molto utile; i pneumatici sono molto performanti e hanno dato un
ottimo riscontro anche come facilità di guida. Sono molto contento di aver
girato soprattutto nell’ultimo turno perchè era importante prendere riferimenti
per la gara e ringrazio BMS e Pirelli per aver portato la vettura in questa ottima
posizione.”

molto bene ed aveva un buon grip; in particolare mi ha impressionato la

Italian BMS Scuderia Italia has completed the official qualifying sessions at the
24 Hours of Le Mans achieving a formidable 3:53.611 lap time and will start, on
Saturday, from the 24th position, 4th in GT category, just behind of the Official
Aston Martin and the Corvette n.64.
Sunny weather conditions welcomed today’s second phase of qualifying
forcing the team to test different solutions on the car. The Italian crew of race
car n.69 run in night car configuration gaining a significant experience on Pirelli
tyres.

“The job done today with the race set of tyres gave us very important data. I’m
very satisfied that I had the chance to run during the last part of the session in
dark conditions as it was useful to practice for the race. I thank BMS and Pirelli
teams for the job done that allowed us to secure the 4th position.”

“I think this year we worked better on two different aspects: in relation to
qualifying and the race. There is a good feeling and balance between me and
my team mate and I believe this could be a winning bonus for us.”

good grip; in particular the braking where I could nearly contain the
