Executive Summary
Roberto Donà, joined IBSS in May 2013 as a Director of the International MBA and Professor of Practice in the
Management Group. Previously he has been a faculty member of SDA Bocconi School of Management and
Bocconi University since 1990. In Bocconi during 20 and plus years of experience he has served in many roles
such as, among the others, Director of Executive MBA, Director of Global Executive MBA and Director of the
Double Degree in International Management which is a cooperation between Bocconi University and Fudan
School of Management in Shanghai. He has been Visiting Scholar (1996) and Visiting Professor (1998) at Stern
School of Business (New York University) and Visiting Professor, Fudan University School of Management,
Fudan University. He has a strong international exposure having worked in Russia, Bulgaria, Argentina, USA
and China. His fields of interested are luxury and consumer goods, technology and automotive while his
research is focus on Internationalization and Innovation Processes in Asia and in FDI in the region and in their
managerial implications.
Since the beginning of his career he worked also as management consultant for both domestic and international
companies serving in several board positions.

2009-2010: Chinese subsidiary of an European Consulting Company, This project has been conducted
for a customer expert in publishing and in patchwork. In one of their diversificated activities they have a
catalogue business and the project was conducted to study the feasibility of a market entry in China

to produce energy from Sawage

production plan. The goal was to study technical and economical feasibility to produce biodiesel from
