Nell’ora settimanale di conversazione con il Lettore, gli studenti si sono esercitati nella produzione
orale affrontando argomenti di vario genere, dalla soluzione di quiz alla creazione di piccole storie,
poster, ecc.

E’ stata realizzata in classe la drammatizzazione dei dialoghi estratti dal racconto The
Umbrella Man, usando le osservazioni dell'autore sul comportamento dei personaggi
come note di regia.
Il miniplay, creato in piccoli gruppi, è stato in seguito rappresentato in classe.

La visione del film, in lingua originale con sottotitoli in inglese, è stata preceduta dalla lettura di
materiale informativo sulla pellicola (personaggi, contesto, sinossi) e seguita dalla stesura della
recensione personale - guidata - di ogni alunno.
NOTA AL PROGRAMMA:
Sostanzialmente due le ragioni della rinuncia alle attività extra (progetti) realizzate negli anni
precedenti: la minore disponibilità di tempo (tre ore contro le quattro assegnate in passato al
docente titolare) e l’elevato numero di studenti. E’ evidente come l’interrogazione di quattro
studenti per volta porti alla soppressione di un numero considerevole di ore da poter dedicare alla
didattica vera e propria. Inoltre, attività parallele al programma in quanto tale (ad esempio la visione
di alcuni film appositamente selezionati per la prima classe) non sono state completate a causa
dell’assenza per malattia della sottoscritta, che le ha precluso l’attività lavorativa dal 21 aprile fino
al termine dell’anno scolastico.

In particolare in questa classe, la gravità della situazione disciplinare del primo quadrimestre e la
mancanza di impegno e senso di responsabilità protrattasi per tutto l’anno scolastico, hanno
determinato un ulteriore riduzione di attività comunicative da svolgere come classe o in piccoli
gruppi, a causa del comportamento puerile e inaffidabile degli studenti.
