(25-600°C) af=365 Vickers Hardness: af=475 Yield Strength MPa: Elongation: af=8% af=after firing INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE MODELING - Maintain a minimum wax thickness of 0.3 to 0.4 mm. The wax pattern design should have lingual collars and no sharp corners. Lingual eyelet rings help support castings during firing. SPRUING (SINGLE CROWNS) - Use direct sprues, 8-10 gauge, (3.3-2.6 mm diameter) and 1/2 in. (12 mm) long with adequate reservoirs. There should be no more than 1/4 in. (6 mm) of investment from the top of the pattern to the top of the investment. SPRUING (MULTI-UNITS & BRIDGES) - Use a 6 gauge (4.1 mm diameter) runner bar, connecting the units to the bar with 10 gauge (2.6 mm diameter) sprues 1/8 in. (3 mm) long and joining the bar to the sprue base with 8 gauge (3.3 mm diameter) and 1/2 in. (12 mm) long sprues coming from a domed central entry point. There should be no more than 1/4 in. (6 mm) of investment from the top of the pattern to the top of the investment. ANSTIFTEN - Zur direkten Anstiftung werden Gusskanäle mit einem Ø von 3-4 mm empfohlen. Einbettmassen verwendet werden Beachten sie die Hinweise der Hersteller. VORWÄRMEN - Nach dem Abbinden der Einbettmasse wird die Muffel in den Vorwärmofen mit Raumtemperatur gestellt. Die Verarbeitungsanleitungen und Haltezeiten der Hersteller sind zu beachten und auf 870°C aufheizen. INVESTING - Use debubblizer and blow off any excess before investing. Recommended investment: Phosphate Bonded. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions. TORCH CASTING - Wind the casting machine one more turn than you would for precious ceramic alloys. A quartz or zircon crucible is necessary. Use a propane/oxygen torch with a multi-orifice tip. Do not use flux. Place the alloy (at least 50% new metal) in a pre-heated crucible. Keep the torch moving to heat all the metal in the crucible at an even rate. The individual ingots will not pool together to form a single mass. Do not stir or rupture the oxide surface. When the flame appears to move the alloy, cast. After casting, bench cool before devesting. INDUCTION OR ELECTRICAL CASTING - When using induction casting machine, pre-heat the crucible. Set the arm speed to 400-450 rpm and set the power to high and be sure that the alloy is pulsating and slumping. The casting temperature of automatic casting equipment should be set for 2705°F (1485°C) with a five seconds heat soak. COOLING - Allow casting ring to cool to room temperature. DO NOT quench in water. DIVESTING AND CLEANING - Divest and sandblast with 50 micron aluminum oxide, be careful of margins. FINISHING - Grind the metal surfaces for porcelain application with non-contaminating aluminum oxide stones in one direction. Blast with non-recycled 50 micron aluminum oxide. Do not exceed a blast pressure of 4 bars of 60 psi. Clean in distilled water in an ultrasonic cleaner for 10 minutes. OXYDIZING OR DEGASSING - (1200-1800°F) 650-980°C, hold 0 min, removal of oxide opional, vacuum. PRESOLDER - Solder joints should be as large as possible (at least 5 mm2). Soldering gap approximately 0.05-0.2 mm. The solder joints should be parallel and free of debris. Preheat invested units and pressure blast with 50 micron just before soldering. Use: Co/Cr Pre. PORCELAIN APPLICATION - Follow the recommendations of the porcelain manufacturer. For a better bond, fire a thin wash 10 - 15°F (10°C) above normal temperature, followed by regular opaque coats. POST SOLDERING AFTER FIRING - After Firing Solder joints should be as large as possible (at least 5 mm2). Soldering gap approximately 0.05 - 0.02 mm. Cover ceramically-veneered units with wax before investing. The soldering investment should not come in contact with the ceramic. The soldering surfaces should be parallel, smooth and free of debris. WAK Werte der Legierung und Keramik überprüfen. Auf gleichmässige Keramikschichtung achten. Bei Verwendung von Pastenopaquer soll dieser vor dem Brennen mindestens 8-10 Min. vorgetrocknet werden. Für eine nooch bessere Haftung empfehlen wir den Opaquer dünn aufzutragen und 10-15°C höher ais normal zu brennen. Den Folgeopaquer weider mit normaler Temperatur brennen. NACHLÖTEN - Darauf achten, dass die zu Iötende Fläche ausreichend groß ist (mindestens 5 mm2) Der Lötspalt sollte ungefähr 0,05 - 0,2 mm betragen. Vor der Löteinbettung müssen die verblendeten Flächen mit Wachs abgedeckt werden. Die Löteinbettmasse darf nicht mit Verblendkeramik in kontakt kommen. Die Lötflächen sollten parallel verlaufen, glatt und frei von jeglichen Rückständen sein. Empfohlenes Lot: LO, R. COTTURA - Dopo un adeguato periodo di preparazione, disporre gli anelli in un forno a temperatura ambiente e portare la temperatura a 870°C più 10 minuti per ogni ulteriore anello. Se si sta usando un rivestimento a fuoco rapido, attenersi alle istruzioni del produttore. COLATURA CON CANNELLO - Incannare la macchina per fusione un giro in più di quanto si farebbe per le leghe in ceramiche preziose. È necessario un crogiolo di quarzo o zirconio. Usare un cannello a propano/ossigeno con punta a più orifizi. Non usare alcun fondente. Collocare la lega (per almeno il 50% in metallo nuovo) in un crogiolo preriscaldato. Muovere il cannello per riscaldare uniformemente tutto il metallo nel crogiolo. Le singole barre non devono fondersi in una massa unica. Non agitare o rompere Ia superficie ossidata. COLATURA A INDUZIONE 0 ELETTRICA - Se si usa una macchina per fusione a induzione, riscaldare preventivamente il crogiolo. COULEE AU CHALUMEAU - Faire tourner le bras de la machine une fois de plus que pour couler des alliages précieux pour céramique. II faut utiliser un creuset quartz ou zircone. COULEE AVEC UNE FRONDE A INDUCTION - Lorsque I'on utilise une fronde à induction, il faut préchauffer le creuset. Pulvériser avec de l'oxyde d'aluminium non recyclé de 50 microns. Ne pas excéder une pression de pulvérisation de 4 bars ou 60 psi. Nettoyer avec de l'eau distillée dans un nettoyeur ultrasonique pendant 10 minutes. OXIDATION OU DÉGAZAGE - 650-980°C, maintenir 0 min, retrait de l’oxyde optionnel, Sous vide. PRÉ-SOUDURE - Les joints de soudure devraient être aussi grands que possible (au moins 5 mm2). Espacement des soudures d'environ 0,05-0,2 mm. Les joints de soudure devraient être parallèles et libres de débris. Préchauffer les unités de revêtement et pulvériser avec du matériel de 50 microns juste avant la soudure. Utiliser: Co/Cr Pre. APPLICATION DE PORCELAINE - Suivre les recommandations du manufacturier de porcelaine. Pour un collage, chauffer avec une lotion claire 10-15°F (10°C) au-dessus de Ia température normale, suivi d'une couche opaque régulière. VORMEN MET EEN TOORTS - Draai de vormmachine nog één draai meer dan u zou doen bij kostbare keramische legeringen. Een gietkroes van kwarts of zirkoon is noodzakelijk. Gebruik een propaan/zuurstoftoorts met een top met meerdere openingen. Gebruik geen smeltmiddel. Plaats de legering (ten minste 50% nieuw metaal) in een vooraf verhitte smeltkroes.
