La Stazione sciistica
The Ski Resort
Gli impianti di Campo Felice garantiscono un accesso pratico e veloce alle piste, con
una portata oraria complessiva di circa 21.000 persone all’ora. La conformazione
geografica consente di praticare gli sport invernali anche in caso di cattivo tempo
poiché gli oltre 40 km di piste confluiscono in un ampio plateau. Le 23 piste da sci,
avendo pendenze molto diverse tra loro, consentono la piena fruibilità a tutti i tipi di
sciatori, dal principiante al più esperto. La Stazione è dotata di 15 impianti di risalita:
The facilities of Campo Felice guarantee a quick, convenient access to the slopes,
with a capacity to transport 21.000 passengers per hour. The geography allow to
practice winter sports even in case of bad weather because there are more than 40
km of ski slopes that are cross flow into a big zone. The 23 ski slopes have full accessibility to all types of skiers, from beginners to experts because there are several
difficulty levels. The station is equipped with 15 lifts:

Campo Felice ha un estensione di ca. 770.000 mq, si trova al centro di un'area contornata
da cime alte più di duemila metri ed innevate per la maggior parte della stagione invernale
e se, per caso l’innevamento naturale dovesse essere insufficiente, gli impianti di innevamento programmato sono pronti ad intervenire per creare un ottimo fondo e quello
spolverio che tanto piace agli sciatori. La stazione è infatti dotata di un modernissimo
impianto di innevamento, con oltre 320 cannoni ad alta pressione, una tecnologia
d’avanguardia che assicura la massima produzione di neve, anche alle temperature marginali, e l’utilizzazione di tutte le ore di freddo. Il tutto è comandato da 2 centrali di pompaggio interconnesse, con un potenziale totale di innevamento di ca. 900 mc. di acqua ogni
ora, avendo la possibilità di attingere a 2 invasi di accumulo idrico, un impluvio naturale
alla base della Seggiovia Cisterna e di uno inserito nel parcheggio località Cerchiare, che
hanno una capacità di circa 85.000 mc di acqua. Circa il 90% delle piste da sci (35 km) è
servito dall’impianto di innevamento programmato. Fiore all’occhiello della stazione è lo
“SWUP SNOWPARK” un’area attrezzata “Snow Park” situata vicino alla seggiovia Campo
Felice, suddivisa in uno spazio per principianti e uno per i più avanzati, dotata di ampie e
varie strutture con terrazzamenti, box, numerosi rails etc.
Lo Snow Park ha una sciovia dedicata a servizio dei suoi utenti lunga circa 250 mt., ed è
dotato di impianto di innevamento. Nell’anno 2012 e nel 2013 si è classificato come miglior
snowpark del centro Sud - Italia agli “Snowpark Awards”, gli oscar dedicati agli snowpark
italiani. Campo Felice è dotata anche di una “Fun Kids Area” dedicata ai bambini, con
circuito per “Snow tubing” e giochi gonfiabili; anche quest’area e servita da un proprio
impianto di risalita costituito da un tapis roulant coperto. I servizi di ristoro sono assicurati
da 5 ristoranti e 3 chioschi bar, distribuiti alla base delle stazioni di partenza e sulle piste
da sci, mentre per il noleggio delle attrezzature da sci e snowboard, sono presenti 7 noleggi, dotati di tutte le più moderne attrezzature. La località sciistica è raggiungibile da due
versanti, dal Comune di Rocca di Cambio, sui cui territori insistono gli impianti, e dal
Comune di Lucoli. La stazione dispone di 2 ampi parcheggi: quello sul lato di Rocca di
Cambio ha una capienza di ca. 700 autovetture, mentre quello sul lato di Lucoli ne accoglie
ca. 2.500 oltre ai 70 posti riservati ai pullman. Il posteggio è totalmente gratuito.
Campo Felice ha tutto per soddisfare chi alla "passione del bianco" non sa proprio
rinunciare.

Campo Felice has an extension of 770.000 square meters, it is located in an area
surrounded by high peaks over two thousand meters and capped for most of the
winter season. In case of natural snowfall is insufficient, the snowmaking facilities
are ready to work and create a solid snow ground and that dusting much like
skiers. The station is equipped as a modern snowmaking system, with over 320
high-pressure guns, an advanced technology that ensures the highest snow
production, even at marginal temperatures. All these are controlled by two
pumping stations interconnected and their snow potential are 900 cubic meters of
water every hour. They having the ability to tap into two basins of water storage,
a natural watershed at the base of the Seggiovia Cisterna and the other one located
in the parking called Cerchiare, which both of them have a capacity around 85.000
cubic meters of water. Around the 90% of the ski slopes (35 km) are served by the
installation of artificial snow. One of the best places in the ski resort is "SWUP
SNOWPARK". The "SnowPark" is located next to the Campo Felice chairlift. It is
divided into the beginner and the advanced area, with large and various structures like terraces, box and many rails. The Snow Park has 250 meters of ski lift
dedicated, and it is equipped by the snowmaking system. On 2012 and 2013 the
“SWUP SNOWPARK” was ranked as the best snowpark located in the middle and
south Italy during the "Snowpark Awards", the Italian Oscar Snowpark.
Campo Felice has also a "Kids Fun Area", with the circuit for "Snow tubing" and
inflatable toys. This area has served by its own ski lift consists of a treadmill machine. The catering services are provided by 5 restaurants and 3 bars, distributed at
the base of ski stations. There are also 7 rental ski shops where you can find the best
ski and snowboarding equipment.
The ski resort is accessible from two sides: one from Rocca di Cambio town and the
other one from a little town called Lucoli. Moreover the station has two large
parking areas: one from Rocca di Cambio side that has a capacity of 700 cars, and
the other one located from Lucoli side that has a capacity of 2.500 cars plus 70
parks reserved only for buses. The parking is totally free.

La Stazione Sciistica di Campo Felice si trova al centro
di una vasta conca naturale, nata ai bordi di cinque
montagne alte 2000 metri ed innevate da novembre ad
aprile. Da una di queste cime, il Monte Rotondo, si può
godere nelle giornate nitide, di un panorama eccezionale, che abbraccia in un solo sguardo le vette più alte
d'’Abruzzo: il Gran Sasso, il Sirente, il Velino, la Duchessa e la Maiella.
Questi luoghi immersi nel silenzio sembrarono al
Cavaliere Dott. Aldo Jacovitti degni di una valorizzazione turistica per lo sviluppo dell’Altopiano delle Rocche
e fu così che grazie alla preziosa collaborazione di
illustri urbanisti ed esperti del settore che nel 1969
nacque la Stazione di Sport Invernali di Campo Felice.
Negli anni settanta ed ottanta Campo Felice diventa la
meta ideale degli appassionati dello Sci del Lazio e
dell’Abruzzo. Papa Giovanni Paolo II, amante della
montagna e dello sci, si è regalato più volte giornate di
relax e sport sulle nostre piste; a lui è intitolata infatti
una delle più belle piste della stazione. Gli anni novanta rappresentano una vera e propria svolta per la
stazione, in quanto viene realizzato lo svincolo
autostradale dell’A24 Tornimparte-Campo Felice che
ancora oggi permette di raggiungere con facilità la
stazione a turisti provenienti da ogni parte del
Centro-sud Italia.
Nel settembre del 2003 la Campo Felice SpA viene
acquistata dalla SACMIF, Azienda nata nel 1980 e
leader nel settore degli impianti a fune ed operante
nel ramo delle manutenzioni e dei controlli non
distruttivi nonché nelle progettazioni, direzione lavori
e consulenze tecniche. La Sacmif, che gestisce tra
l’altro anche l’impianto seggioviario di Capri sul Monte
Solaro, è presieduta da Saverio Lallini e guidata dai
suoi figli, Andrea e Luca Lallini. Nel 2013 viene realizzata un’ulteriore svolta per il turismo, con l’apertura della
galleria di Serralunga che consente il collegamento
della piana di Campo Felice con tutto l’altopiano delle
Rocche ed il raggiungimento di Rocca di Cambio
direttamente dallo svincolo autostradale dell’A24.

Looking Back...
Campo Felice ski resort is in the middle of a vast natural
basin, located in the middle of five mountains high around
2.000 meters and covered with snow from November to
April. From one of these heights, Monte Rotondo mountain,
you can see during a clear day, an exceptional view, where
you can recognize the highest peaks of the Abruzzo region:
Gran Sasso, Sirente, Velino, Duchessa and Maiella.
These beautiful places seemed to Dr. Aldo Jacovitti worthy of
a tourist development for of the Altopiano delle Rocche and in
collaboration with important engineers and other urban
experts on1969 was born the Campo Felice ski resort.
During the seventies and the eighties ages Campo Felice ski
resort becomes an ideal destination for winter holidays in the
center of Italy. The Pope Giovanni Paolo II spent several days
times on our slopes. He was entitled one of our best ski slope.
The nineties ages represent a real turning point for the station
because it was realized the highway called A24 Tornimparte Campo Felice that still allows easy access to the station for
tourists from all over the central and southern Italy.
In September 2003, the Campo Felice SpA was purchased by
SACMIF, Company founded on 1980 and leader in the field of
cable installations and operating in the field of maintenance
and non-destructive testing as well as in designs, construction
management and technical consulting. The SACMIF, which
operates among other realities like the facility skilift called
“Seggiovia Monte Solaro” located on the top of the highest
mountain in the Capri’s island is chaired by Saverio Lallini
and managed by his sons, Andrea and Luca Lallini.
On 2013 it was realized another important work that signed a
further turn for the tourism. It was opened the Serralunga’s
tunnel which allows the connection of the plain of Campo
Felice with the whole plateau of the Rocche and the achievement of Rocca di Cambio directly from the A24 highway.

con Nissan Italia, sponsor della stazione, le varie gare e eventi promozionali organizzati da Sci club, Cral, Dopolavoro, Associazioni e Aziende, contest di snowboard, ski-test organizzati dalle case produttrici più importanti del
settore, nonché l’annuale “Discesa della Pace” che si svolge ogni anno con la partecipazione di una diversa
ambasciata europea e la manifestazione di raccolta fondi “Un Euro per la Vita” in collaborazione con la ONLUS
“L’Aquila per la vita”.

Italy, the sponsor of the station, various competitions and promotional events organized by the Ski Club, Cral,
OND, Associations and Companies, snowboard contest, ski -test organized by the major industry's manufacturers, as well as the annual event called "Descent of Peace" which is held annually with the participation
of different European embassy and the fundraising event "One Euro for Life" in collaboration with "The Eagle
for life”, the ONLUS association.

In relazione all’andamento delle condizioni meteorologiche della stagione invernale, e quindi dello stato di
innevamento delle piste da sci, le giornate di apertura in una stagione sciistica possono comprendere da 100 a
120 gg. Pertanto, le presenze di utenti e sciatori in questo arco di tempo vanno da 180.000 a 250.000 ca., c.d. primi
ingressi per stagione sciistica, mentre le corse o passaggi che si registrano ai tornelli oscillano tra i 2.000.000 e
2.700.000. A questi si aggiungono tutti coloro che si recano nella località sciistica per passare una giornata sulla
neve in compagnia di familiari e amici e che con attendibilità stimiamo in ca. 200.000 persone per stagione
invernale. Statistiche operative delle ultime 2 stagioni invernali:
In relation to the performance of the weather conditions during the winter season and the ski slopes conditions,
the number of the open days in a ski season may include from 100 to 120 days. Therefore, the presence of users
and skiers in this time have a range from 180.000 to 250.000, while people who cross the turnstiles are between
2.000.000 to 2.700.000. We must added to these numbers all those people who go in the ski resort just to enjoy
a day with friends or family and they are estimate around 200.000 for the winter season. These numbers came
from operational statistics of the last two winter seasons:

Per la sua natura di stazione sciistica, il suo esercizio e la sua attività hanno una stagionalità che copre prevalentemente i mesi invernali. Negli ultimi 4 anni è andata crescendo l’affluenza di utenti nella stagione estiva stimata
in 5.000/8.000 presenze, grazie all’incentivazione di attività sportive outdoor legate alla montagna, quali tracciati,
con diversi livelli di difficoltà, per mountain bike e down - hill, il ciclo - escursionismo, il trekking e le passeggiate
a cavallo. Oltre a diverse manifestazioni sportive come l’Ecotrail dell’Altopiano delle Rocche, gara podistica nelle
bellezze naturali della zona, e corsi di nordic walking, nell’estate del 2011 la stazione ha potuto ospitare una tappa
del Campionato Italiano di Down Hill organizzato dalla Federazione Ciclistica Italiana.
By the nature of the ski resort, the activities have a seasonality that mainly covers the winter months. In the last
four years has been increasing the number of tourists during the summer season estimated between 5.000 to
8.000 because it was promoted sport and different activities related to the mountain like trekking, with different
levels of difficulty, mountain biking, down - hill, excursions and the horseback riding.
In addition to various sporting races like “Altopiano delle Rocce Ecotrail” foot race and the Nordic walking
classes, in the summer of 2011 Campo Felice ski station was able to host a round of the Italian Championship
Down Hill organized by the Italian Cycling Federation.

Le Scuole sci
La stazione Sciistica Campo Felice è dotata di tre scuole sci Campo
Felice, Le Aquile e Le Rocche con tecnici abilitati anche
all'insegnamento di sci nordico e snowboard. Le scuole sci inoltre
organizzano la giornata con il maestro e la settimana con il maestro.
Nei weekend e nel periodo natalizio, sarà possibile passare un'intera
giornata con il maestro, dalle ore 10.00 alle ore 16.00, con una breve
sosta pranzo, in compagnia dei maestri sci in uno dei ristoranti
caratteristici di Campo Felice. È possibile organizzare gare sociali,
aziendali ed amatoriali, contattando il Direttore di Stazione

The Ski schools
The Station Resort Campo Felice has three ski schools Campo
Felice, The Eagles and The Rocks with qualified technicians to
teaching Nordic skiing and snowboarding. The ski schools also
organize their day with the teacher and the week with the
master. On weekends and during the Christmas period, you can
spend a whole day with the master, from 10.00 to 16.00, with a
brief stop for lunch in the company of ski instructors in one of the
quaint restaurants in Campo Felice. You can organize races
social, business and amateur, by contacting the Director of the
