Compatibility
The AVA-2902E/I adapters are based
on Adaptec’s industry-standard PCI
SCSI host adapter architecture.
Support for the AVA-2902E/I adapters
are embedded in Windows® 95 and
Windows NT™ and support for MSDOS® and Windows® 3.1x is available
through drivers which assure compatibility with these desktop operating
systems.
Adaptec has developed strong relationships with ISHVs (Independent
Software Hardware Vendors) to
maximize product compatibility with
industry leading hardware and software products. These relationships
mean reduced technical support due
to increased compatibility, resulting
in lower total cost of ownership.
Proven Quality and Reliability
The AVA-2902E/I host adapters
have undergone thorough testing in
Adaptec’s Product Test Laboratory.
Each board design is subjected to
thousands of hours of functional,
compatibility, and environmental
tests to ensure the highest quality and
reliability. Our commitment to quality
has earned Adaptec’s manufacturing
facility ISO-9002 certification.
