I bordi delle lastre ricreano una naturale irregolarità per la

Lithos è stato concepito e realizzato per il contatto diretto con la natura, in habitat esterni. Grazie
alle sue caratteristiche è in grado di integrarsi con un impatto aziendale minimo mantenendo un’alta

Lithos is conceived for the direct contact with nature, in outdoors habitats. Thanks to its carachteristics it
is able to integrate itself with a minimal environmental impact mantaining an high durability.
RESISTENZA AGLI AGENTI ESTERNI
Il prodotto è dotato di un elevato grado di resistenza agli agenti atmosferici e alle condizioni climatiche
avverse (es. gelo). È in grado di sopportare un traffico elevato e per questo ideale anche per applicazioni
pubbliche.
WEATHER RESISTANCE
The product features an high resistance to weather and adverse climatic conditions (like frost). It is able
to support an high traffic and for this reason is perfect even for public applications.

LITHOS non rilascia VOC (Sostanze Organiche Volatili), come certificato da laboratori esterni qualificati.
Low Emitting materials EQ - 4.2: (1 LEED point)
No traces of VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) are present in LITHOS tiles (as certified by the external
labs in charge of the tests).
Utilizzo di materiali locali, Credito MR 5.2 (2 punti LEED se l’uso dei materiali locali incide per almeno
il 20% sul totale del costo delle materie prime).
Questi Crediti LEED si applicano agli edifici costruiti entro 804,5 km dallo stabilimento di Finale Emilia
(MO - Italy), cioè realizzati in Italia, Svizzera, Austria, Belgio, Ungheria, Rep. Ceca, Slovenia, Croazia,
Serbia, nella quasi totalità di Francia, Germania, Olanda, Rep. Slovacca e Catalogna (Spagna).
Poichè il 45% delle materie prime utilizzate proviene da cave situate entro 500 miglia dal sito produttivo,
LITHOS contribuisce per il 45% del suo valore al raggiungimento di questi crediti LEED.
Regional Materials, MR Credit 5.2 - (2 LEED points are granted if the use of local raw material is equal to
20% of the total value of the raw materials).
These Credits are applicable for buildings costructed within 500 mls from the production site of Finale
Emilia (MO - Italy). The Countries within this territorial radius are: Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium,
Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and the major part of France, Germany, Holland, Slovakia and Calaogne (Spain).
45% of whole LITHOS raw materials is quarried in the 500 mls radius. Therefore BIOARCH contributes for
45% of its value to the LEED Credits of this Section.
Effetto Isola di Calore, Sezione SS - 7.1: (1 punto LEED)
LITHOS non contribuisce ad aumentare la temperatura delle zone urbane rispetto a quelle rurali (No
Effetto Isola di Calore), in quanto il suo Indice di Riflettanza Solare SRI è ≥ 29. LITHOS è quindi particolarmente idonea per ambienti esterni, coperti e non.
Heat Island Effect, (non roof) SS - 7.1: (1 LEED point)
LITHOS does not contribute to change the energy balance of the environments where installed. It does not
produce any UHI effect (Urban Heat Island), thanks to its very good physical properties Solar Reflectance
Index (SRI ≥ 29). This makes LITHOS suitable for outdoor applications in open and covered spaces.
Ottimizzazione Performance Energetica, Credito EA 1: (1-10 punti LEED)
La conducibilità termica di LITHOS è di 1,3 Watt/m °K (1,1 Kcal/m h °C). Per questo è particolarmente
indicata per sistemi di riscaldamento a pavimento e per pareti ventilate.
Optimize Energy Performance, EA Credit 1 - (1-10 LEED points)
Terminal conductivity of LITHOS is 0.75 Btu/ft h °F (1.3 Watt/m °K or 1.1 Kcal/m h °C). For this reason it’s
particularly indicated for heating floors systems and ventilated curtain walls.

LITHOS is produced in manufacturing plants whit environmental management systems compliant to
ISO14001: 2004 – International Organization for Standardization and EMAS – Eco-Management and Audit
Scheme (European Council Regulation 761/2001) standards.
LITHOS has got the prestigious ecological mark ECOLABEL (CE N. 1980/2000), allowed by EU only to
these products with the lowest environmental impact.
These environmental standards guarantee excellence in terms of:
• safeguard of the environment;
• endless improvement of the environmental performances of the manufacturing sites;
• healthcare of PANARIA’s workers and customers.

Salvaguardia dell’ambiente e delle risorse naturali
Il 100% degli scarti, delle acque e dei rifiuti prodotti sono riutilizzati nel processo del sito produttivo o
riciclato in altri processi.
• Riutilizzo del 100% degli scarti crudi, con riduzione dell’uso di nuove materie prime e salvaguardia
delle risorse naturali.
• Riutilizzo del 100% delle acque di processo e conseguente riduzione del 60% del fabbisogno idrico, con
importante salvaguardia delle risorse idriche del territorio.
• Il Riciclo del 100% degli scarti cotti come inerte per sottofondi di strade ed edifici riduce l’uso in edilizia di ghiaia ed inerti naturali.
• Il 100% degli imballaggi di LITHOS (scatole di cartone, termoretraibili, reggette, pallet di legno) è costituito da materiali riciclabili.
• Il 100% dei rifiuti non ceramici è gestito in modo differenziato e riciclato in altri processi produttivi.
Environmental safeguard - Responsible management of natural resources 100% of the industrial waste
produced in the process is reused (in the factory) or recycled (by third parties). No waste is discharged
in the environment.
• 100% reuse of unfired tiles - Crude waste generated by the process is reintegrated in the production
cycle with no costs for the environment. This contributes to the safeguard of natural resources.
• 100% water recycling - The water used in the production process is 100% recycled. The water demand is
reduced by about 60% by this mean. No industrial water is discharged in the ecosystem.
• 100% recycling of the industrial waste – fired tiles - All the waste-fired tiles generated by the process
are recycled from the building industry as inert supports for road subsoils and foundations, reducing the
use of new natural resources.
• 100% recyclable packing materials - LITHOS’s packing material is 100% recyclable (carton boxes, plastic
packaging materials, wooden pallets, straps, etc.).
• 100% of non ceramic waste is differentiated and recycled in other production cycles.

LITHOS utilizza pallet senza corteccia (DB) conformi allo standard IPPC / FAO ISPM 15, offrendo quindi
ai Paesi importatori ogni garanzia per la salvaguardia del proprio patrimonio forestale.
Respect for the ecosystem
• Low emissions in the atmosphere
LITHOS complies strictly to Italian Standards (cfr Post-Kyoto Protocol negotiations on greenhouse
gas emissions) with a very small amount of gas emissions in the atmosphere.
The hight quality of the technology used keeps our emissions 10 times inferior the allowed limits.
• FAO pallets
BIOARCH uses debarked pallets (DB) for its shipments, in accordance with the IPPC/FAO ISPM 15
standards. This is a further warranty for the forest safeguard of the importing Countries, dealing
with Kronos.

La verosimiglianza della materia e la variabilità della
superficie permettono di ricreare ambienti pressochè
analoghi a quelli in pietra reale.
One of the most important carachteristics of Lithos,
the one from which its name derives, is the natural
stone effect.
The matter likelihood and the surface variability allow
to recreate almost analogous habitats to those made of
real stone.

La sensazionale apparenza della pietra naturale viene
replicata fedelmente, per offrire la suggestione di un
materiale naturale ma con la versatilità e la resistenza

il risultato della posa e imitare l’effetto casuale della
pietra esistente in natura.
