IMPORTANT
Before connecting and using this product, please read this instruction manual carefully and
keep it on hand for future reference.
The manual is to be considered an integral part of this product and must accompany
it when it changes ownership as a reference for correct installation and use as well as
for the safety precautions. RCF S.p.A. will not assume any responsibility for the incorrect
installation and / or use of this product.

WARNING: To prevent the risk of fire or electric shock, never expose this product to rain
or humidity.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
1. All the precautions, in particular the safety ones, must be read with special
attention, as they provide important information.
2. POWER SUPPLY FROM MAINS
a. The mains voltage is sufficiently high to involve a risk of electrocution; therefore,
never install or connect this product when its power cable is plugged in.
b. Before powering up, make sure that all the connections have been made correctly and
the voltage of your mains corresponds to the voltage shown on the rating
plate on the unit, if not, please contact your RCF dealer.
c. The metallic parts of the unit are earthed by means of the power cable.
An apparatus with CLASS I construction shall be connected to a mains socket outlet
with a protective earthing connection.
d. Protect the power cable from damage. Make sure it is positioned in a way that it cannot be stepped on or crushed by
objects.
e. To prevent the risk of electric shock, never open the product: there are no parts
inside that the user needs to access.
3. Make sure that no objects or liquids can get into this product, as this may cause a short
circuit. This apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing. No objects filled with
liquid, such as vases, shall be placed on this apparatus. No naked sources (such as lighted
candles) should be placed on this apparatus.
4. Never attempt to carry out any operations, modifications or repairs that are not expressly
described in this manual.
Contact your authorized service centre or qualified personnel should any of the following
occur:
- The product does not function (or functions in an anomalous way).
- The power supply cable has been damaged.
- Objects or liquids have got in the unit.
- The product has been subject to a heavy impact.
5.If this product is not used for a long period, disconnect the power cable.
6. If this product begins emitting any strange odours or smoke, switch it off immediately
and disconnect the power supply cable.
7. Do not connect this product to any equipment or accessories not foreseen.
For suspended installation, only use the dedicated anchoring points and do not try to hang
this product by using elements that are unsuitable or not specific for this purpose.
Also check the suitability of the support surface to which the product is anchored (wall,
ceiling, structure, etc.), and the components used for attachment (screw anchors, screws,
brackets not supplied by RCF etc.), which must guarantee the security of the system /
installation over time, also considering, for example, the mechanical vibrations normally
generated by transducers.

To prevent the risk of falling equipment, do not stack multiple units of this product unless
this possibility is specified in the user manual.
8. RCF S.p.A. strongly recommends this product is only installed by professional
qualified installers (or specialised firms) who can ensure correct installation
and certify it according to the regulations in force.
The entire audio system must comply with the current standards and regulations
regarding electrical systems.
9. Supports and trolleys
The equipment should be only used on trolleys or supports, where necessary, that are
recommended by the manufacturer. The equipment / support / trolley assembly must be
moved with extreme caution. Sudden stops, excessive pushing force and uneven floors may
cause the assembly to overturn.
10. There are numerous mechanical and electrical factors to be considered when installing
a professional audio system (in addition to those which are strictly acoustic, such as sound
pressure, angles of coverage, frequency response, etc.).
11. Hearing loss
Exposure to high sound levels can cause permanent hearing loss. The acoustic pressure
level that leads to hearing loss is different from person to person and depends on the
duration of exposure. To prevent potentially dangerous exposure to high levels of acoustic
pressure, anyone who is exposed to these levels should use adequate protection devices.
When a transducer capable of producing high sound levels is being used, it is therefore
necessary to wear ear plugs or protective earphones.
See the technical specifications in loudspeaker instruction manuals to know their maximum
sound pressure levels.
12. To prevent the occurrence of noise, use screened cables only and avoid putting them
close to:
- Equipment that produces high-intensity electromagnetic fields (for example, high power
transformers)
- Mains cables
- Loudspeaker lines.
13. Situate this product far from any heat sources.
14. Never force the control elements (keys, knobs, etc. ).
15. Do not use solvents, alcohol, benzene or other volatile substances for cleaning the
external parts of this product.

INTERNET RADIO
PRELIMINARY INFORMATION
In order to use the internet radio, it is necessary at least one of the followings:
- A broadband internet connection.
- A wireless access point (Wi-Fi) connected to your broadband internet (preferably via a router).
- A local area network (LAN) connected to your broadband internet (preferably via a router).
It is possible to select either wireless or LAN (or both) in the setting menu.
If your wireless network is configured to use ‘Wired Equivalent Privacy’ (WEP) or ‘Wi-Fi
Protected Access’ (WPA) data encryption, you will need to know the WEP or WPA code.
Before proceeding, make sure that your wireless access point is powered up and
connected to your broadband internet. To get this part of the system working, you need
to read the instructions supplied with the wireless access point.
INSTALLATION
This device can be either installed into a 19” rack cabinet (1 unit) thanks to its rack ears
or put on a desk (after taking its rack ears off by removing the 4 screws on each side).
INSERT / REMOVE / CHANGE THE REMOTE
CONTROL BATTERIES

Use 2 new AAA (1.5 V) non-rechargeable batteries, better if alkaline.
Do NOT use old and new batteries at the same time.
Do NOT put together different models of batteries.
Do NOT attempt to charge non rechargeable batteries.
Verify if the polarity of batteries is correct (inserted properly, following the indication on
the relevant compartment).
- Remove batteries when empty or in the case the device will not be used for a long
time.
- Do NOT short-circuit batteries (i.e. connecting the 2 opposite poles together with
metallic wires).
- Throw empty batteries into dedicated garbage cans, according to your country laws
about ecology and environment protection.
The battery compartment is on the bottom of the remote control rear side.
Push down the battery compartment cover to remove it (picture 1).
Remove old batteries (if present), by raising them from their positive pole.
The right polarity is indicated in the battery compartment (picture 2).
Insert 2 new AAA type (1.5 V) non-rechargeable batteries, better if alkaline. Make sure
the polarity is correct when inserting. Battery insertion: first push its negative pole against
the compartment spring, then push down its positive pole (to fix the battery; picture 3).

DESCRIPTION
MS 1033 has 2 separate and independent sections that can be used at the same time:
- Internet radio with Wi-Fi digital receiver / traditional FM tuner
- Digital flash-based audio player
The high-quality digital receiver includes Wi-Fi 802.11b/g and an Ethernet (RJ 45) port,
allowing to choose among a lot of radio stations all over the world, searching according
to the nation or the kind of music.
It also includes a traditional FM tuner (87.5 ÷ 108 MHz) with RDS for the quick selection
of preferred radio stations.
Supported streaming protocols: RTSP (Real Time Streaming Protocol), MMS (Microsoft®
Media Server protocol), HTTP (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol).
The media player is compatible with Microsoft ® ‘Windows Media Player 11’ on the
following operating systems: Microsoft® Windows XP, Windows Vista.
The digital audio player can read SD (‘Secure Digital’) cards and USB flash drives.
Supported audio files are MP3 and WMA.
Each section has a separated stereo output (RCA connectors), an independent volume
control on the unit front panel and a dedicated backlit LCD.
The I/R remote control is included..

NETWORK CONNECTION AND STATION SELECTION
After powering up the unit, ‘Initialising network’ will be displayed.
The network scan may take up to 30 seconds; if a network cannot be find, start the
search manually by selecting (from the main menu) with the CONTROL / SELECT
} rotary encoder / push-button “Configure Network Config Wired/
Wireless
Auto”.
It is possible to disable either the wireless or the wired network by editing the parameter ‘Wired/
Wireless’ (Configure
→Network Config
Wired/Wireless):
- Normally, select the ‘Auto’ option (automatic setting).
- Choose ‘Wired Only’ to use the wired Ethernet connection only (wireless networks are disabled).
- Choose ‘Wireless Only’ to use the wireless Wi-Fi connection only (Ethernet is disabled).
Every selection causes the radio to reboot and then attempt to establish a connection to a
network (if available).
You will then be given the option to scan for all available networks.
Press the CONTROL / SELECT } button to enter and select.
If you make a mistake at any point, press BACK 7 to return to previous menu.
WIRELESS NETWORKS
If the internet radio cannot find a wireless network, ‘No Wireless Network found’ will be
displayed.
If this happens, please check that your wireless router is switched on; refer to the
respective manufacturer if this problem persists.
WIRELESS NETWORKS
If the internet radio finds your wireless network, its name will be displayed.
The search may find more than one network. Turn the CONTROL / SELECT } rotary
encoder to see the available networks and press it to select.
If your network is not configured to request a password (WEP/WPA), the internet radio
will connect to the network (‘Network OK is displayed’).
If a WEP/WPA key (password) is required, ‘Enter WEP key’ will be displayed.
Then, it will be necessary to insert the right WEP/WPA code: turn the CONTROL / SELECT
} to select a single character, then press it to confirm (or press BACK 7 to delete).
When the code is complete, select ‘END’ to quit.
The internet radio should now successfully connect to your network.
Note: WEP/WPA codes are case-sensitive (capital and small letters are seen as different characters)!
The WEP/WPA code will be automatically remembered for your network (and also other
networks used previously).
WIRED LOCAL AREA NETWORK
When the internet radio is trying to connect to your wired local area network,
‘Connecting to LAN’ is displayed. If the internet radio cannot find the wired network,
‘Network Error’ is displayed (please check if the network cable is properly connected
to the LAN Ethernet RJ 45 port ].

STATION SELECTION
As soon as the internet radio is connected to a network, it will be possible to select a
radio station. Select ‘Stations’ in the main menu: first, the radio list is downloaded from
‘Reciva’ portal (‘Station Update from Reciva’ is displayed); then, choose ‘Location’ or
‘Genre’. ‘Location’ allows you to choose a station according to its country (radio stations
are sorted by an alphabetical list of countries).
‘Genre’ allows you to choose a station according to its music kind (e.g. Pop, Dance, etc.).
After selecting either ‘Location’ or ‘Genre’, it will be possible to scroll through the station
list and make your selection by pressing CONTROL / SELECT

Up to 6 radio station can be stored and recalled by using the remote control (see the
‘Remote control’ manual section, 1 ÷ 6 keys ,).
‘ON-DEMAND’ BROADCAST
Some radio stations provide a number of additional ways to listen to content, for
example, by providing radio shows that have already been broadcast (facility known as
‘On-Demand’ or ‘Listen-Again’). To choose between a ‘Live’ broadcast or an ‘On-Demand
one’, simply use the CONTROL / SELECT } rotary encoder / push-button (turn and press
to select).
‘ON-DEMAND’ BROADCAST
If you select On-Demand, you will be presented with a list of shows that are available.
Use the CONTROL / SELECT } rotary encoder to select.
Some stations may allow you to fast-forward through an ‘On-Demand’ broadcast.
Press BROWSE 9 and use the CONTROL / SELECT } rotary encoder to forward and
rewind through the broadcast. Press CONTROL / SELECT } to play from your selected
point.

Enter to search and choose radio stations sorted by countries.

Enter to search and choose radio stations sorted by genres.

All available UPNP (‘Universal Plug and Play’) servers are displayed and it is possible to
access their files.
‘MEDIA PLAYER’ MENU
– PLAYBACK MODE
Enter ‘Repeat’ to enable / disable the repeat mode.
If enabled, all tracks in the queue will be played repeatedly.
Enter ‘Shuffle’ to enable / disable the random play of selected tracks.
These settings can be changed by pressing the MODE key P once or more times.
– CLEAR QUEUE
Enter to clear the track queue.
‘CONFIGURE’ MENU
– NETWORK CONFIG
This menu allows you to configure your radio network settings, scan again for a
connection to another wireless network, set the network parameters manually.

<SCAN FOR NETWORKS>
It automatically scans all available wireless networks.
<ENTER NETWORK NAME>
Manual wireless network search by inserting its name.
Turn the CONTROL / SELECT } to select a single character, then press it to confirm (or
press BACK 7 to delete). When the name is complete, select ‘END’ to quit.
Then, the selected network will be searched.
If the selected network is not found, ‘Network not found’ will be displayed.
<VIEW CONFIG>
It shows the current configuration.
Turn the CONTROL / SELECT } to view all data: ‘Mode’, ‘ESSID’ (‘Extended Service Set
ID’), ‘Wireless MAC Address’, ‘Wired MAC Address’, ‘IP Address’, Wired Device’, ‘Wireless
Device’.
<EDIT CONFIG>
IP address setting.
To let the IP address be dynamically allocated, select ‘YES’ at the first
question ‘Auto (DHCP)?’
DHCP: ‘Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol’.
To set a static IP address, select ‘NO’ at the displayed question ‘Auto (DHCP)?’ (turn the
rotary encoder CONTROL / SELECT } to select ‘NO’ and then press it to confirm).
‘Enter IP Address’ is now displayed: press CONTROL / SELECT } (again) to enter and
insert the IP address (press CONTROL / SELECT } for the next number, BACK 7 for
the previous).
After the fourth number, the ‘Network Mask’ will be required in the same way.
Then you’ll need to enter the default ‘Gateway Address’, ‘DNS server 1’, ‘DNS server 2’
and ‘DNS server 3’ (optional).

<WIRED / WIRELESS>
This parameter has 3 options: ‘Auto’, ‘Wired Only’, ‘Wireless Only’.
Every selection causes the radio to reboot and then attempt to establish a connection to
an available network. Once the radio has established a connection to the network, this
will remain in use while the radio is turned on.
Normally, select the ‘Auto’ option (automatic setting).
Choose ‘Wired Only’ to use the Ethernet connection only (wireless ‘Wi-Fi’ networks are disable).
Choose ‘Wireless Only’ to use the Wi-Fi connection only (Ethernet is disabled).
<SIGNAL WARNING>
This parameter allows you to choose whether or not the internet radio displays a warning
message when its network signal level is low.
Select either ‘YES’ (to enable this function) or ‘NO’.
– VERSION
It displays the version numbers of software and hardware.
– UPDATE FIRMWARE
Use this option to download new firmware releases from the ‘Reciva’ portal on Internet.
If a new firmware release is available, the radio will prompt you if you want to download
it (or not).
Note: at this point, it is still possible to press BACK 7 to cancel.
A firmware upgrade may take several minutes: do NOT switch the radio off until
this operation is complete, otherwise the unit may not operate any more.

Select the desired display language.

After a confirmation request (‘Are you sure?’) and entering ‘YES’, it puts all settings back
to their factory defaults.
IMPORTANT: a factory reset entails the loss of the previous configuration!
– REGISTER
This displays a code that can be used to register the radio on the ‘Reciva’ portal:
www.reciva.com.
– CLOCK SETUP
Press CONTROL / SELECT } to enter and set both the time and the date manually: the
display shows ‘Set Time/Date’. Press CONTROL / SELECT } again to enter, choose the
time zone and set (in sequence) hours, minutes, day, month, year.
At the end, ‘Time and Date Set’ will be displayed.
– BACKLIGHT
Press CONTROL / SELECT } to enter and set the display backlight.
It is possible to set 2 values (0 ÷ 31): one for the ‘Active’ state, one for ‘Standby’;
Note: there is a fixed setting for the ‘Inactive’ state. The ‘Active’ state is when the
user is managing the unit.
The ‘Inactive’ state starts from ca. 20 seconds since the last user operation.
‘Standby’: when the radio has been turned off.
– CONTRAST
Press CONTROL / SELECT } to enter and set the display contrast.
– UPnP
It is possible to name the radio, so the UPnP server will not see it as ‘Unknown
Device’ (see the next manual section ‘Internet radio device – Media player operation
via UPnP media server’). Press CONTROL / SELECT } to enter ‘Device name’, then turn
it to select a single character, then press it to confirm (or press BACK 7 to delete). When the
name is complete, select ‘END’ to quit.

WINDOWS PC UPNP SET-UP
If your PC is running Microsoft Windows® XP or Vista, then you can use ‘Windows
Media Player 11’ to act as your UPnP (‘Universal Plug and Play’) media server.
‘Windows Media Player 11’ can be downloaded from Microsoft’s website and
installed by following the instructions in its installation wizard.
Once installed, ‘Windows Media Player 11’ will create a library from all the media
files available on your PC. To add new media files to the library, select ‘Library
Add to Library…
Advanced Options’, click ‘Add’ and choose the files you wish to
add and click ‘OK’.
WINDOWS PC UPNP SET-UP
It is now necessary to connect the internet radio device to Windows Media Player 11 and
configure it to allow the radio to access your media library:
- In order to allow the radio to have access to media files, it will be necessary to click the
‘Library’ tab from ‘Windows Media Player 11’ and select ‘Media Sharing...’ to open its
respective window.

- From the internet radio device main menu, select ‘Media Player
→UPNP servers’ by
using the CONTROL / SELECT } rotary encoder / push-button (turn and press to
select).
- The internet radio device scans for all available UPnP servers. Note: it may take a few
seconds to complete its scan (and before the scan has been completed, ‘[Empty]’ is
displayed until servers are found).
- After a successful scan, select your UPnP server by using CONTROL / SELECT }. Note: at this point, the internet radio displays ‘Access Denied’.
- In the ‘Media Sharing’ window, the internet radio will be listed as an unknown device.
Click on the ‘Unknown Device’ icon, then click first the ‘Allow’ button then ‘OK’.
LOCATE AND PLAY MEDIA FILES
Once the UPnP server has been configured, it is possible to play the shared media files:
- Keep pressing the BACK button 7 to get to the radio top-level menu and then use
CONTROL / SELECT } to select ‘Media Player’.
- Enter ‘UPnP servers’: the radio starts scanning for all available UPnP servers. Note: it may take a few seconds to complete its scan (and before the scan has been completed,
‘[Empty]’ is displayed until servers are found).
- After a successful scan, select your UPnP server by using CONTROL / SELECT }.
- The internet radio will now list the media categories available from the UPnP server, e.g.
‘Music’, ‘Playlists’ etc. Turn CONTROL / SELECT } to choose which category you wish
to browse, then press to confirm. Use again CONTROL / SELECT } to highlight a sub
category and press to confirm. Scroll to highlight the .wma file that you wish to play,
then press CONTROL / SELECT }.
- ‘[Add to Queue]’ is now displayed: if selected (through CONTROL / SELECT }), it will
add that file to the queue.

again on ‘Set Alarms’ to enter.
The internet radio allows you to set 2 independent alarms.
Turn CONTROL / SELECT } to select among ‘Disable all’, the first alarm or the second alarm.
‘Disable all’ disables both alarms.
When selecting an alarm (use CONTROL / SELECT } to select, press BACK 7 to edit
the previous value again):
- First, it is necessary to set the alarm start time.
- Then it is possible to choose among ‘Once’, ‘Every Day’, ‘Weekly’, ‘Weekdays’,
‘Weekends’.
- If ‘Once’ or ‘Weekly’ are selected, it will be also necessary to specify which day.
- Finally, select the alarm type: either the buzzer or a radio station assigned to a preset.

1. Open the website https://www.reciva.com/ from your Internet browser.
2. Click on the ‘Register’ link and follow the on-screen instructions to register an
account. Later, it will be possible to modify your ‘Reciva’ account by clicking on
‘Profile’ (and then on ‘Update’ to confirm changes).
3. Go to https://radios.reciva.com/ and register your radio by entering the code (that
can be obtained by selecting ‘Configure
Register’ in the internet radio). Then,
add the radio to your account.
4. After logging into your account, click on ‘Manage My Stuff’: you will be able to
edit your information for ‘My Stations’, ‘My Streams’, ‘My Podcasts’ (and also
‘My Radios’).
REGISTERING AN ACCOUNT

CONFIGURING ‘MY STATIONS’
1. Now, it is possible to search for radio stations that are available in Reciva’s station
database. Whenever stations are searched for on the website, they will be displayed
in a list of search results together with a link to ‘Add to My Stations’.
2. Clicking on the ‘Add to My Stations’ link, the selected station is added to your
account’s ‘My Stations’ list. Click on ‘My Stations’ to edit this list.
3. Once internet stations are available in your ‘My Stations’ list, you can quickly recall
them from your internet radio. First, reboot your radio. New stations will only be
available once your radio has updated the station list from ‘Reciva’ web site (click
on ‘Stations’ in the main menu). Reboot your radio again. A new option is now
available in the main menu: ‘My Stuff’; enter and select ‘My Stations’.
CONFIGURING ‘MY STATIONS’

1. Once logged in, you can also add your own internet radio streams to your ‘My
Streams’.
2. Clicking on ‘My Streams’ will prompt you to enter the stream name and its media stream
URL. The media stream URL should be a link to a website’s actual audio stream. If you
have any doubt about locating the media stream URL from a web page, then please refer
to the FAQs section on Reciva’s website (http://www.reciva.com).
3. Once streams are available in your ‘My Streams’ list, you can quickly recall these
streams from your internet radio. First, reboot your radio, then update the list from
‘Reciva’ web site (click on ‘Stations’ in the main menu). Reboot your radio again.
CONFIGURING ‘MY STREAMS’
CONFIGURING ‘MY PODCASTS’
1. It is possible to add audio podcasts (RSS feeds) to your Reciva account that can be
accessed on your Internet radio. To add a podcast, simply login to your account and
then click on the ‘My Podcasts’ link.
2. In your ‘My Podcasts’ section, you can add your chosen podcast by entering in
the podcast name and its URL as prompted by the website. Please note, the
podcast URL needs to be a direct RSS feed which ends with the ‘.xml’ extension.
(e.g. http://someurl.com/podcast.xml).
3. Once podcasts are available in your ‘My Podcasts’ list, you can quickly recall these
feeds from your internet radio. First reboot your radio, then update the list from
‘Reciva’ web site (click on ‘Stations’ in the main menu). After another radio reboot,
select the new menu option: ‘My Stuff
My Podcasts’.

TROUBLESHOOTING
If you have trouble connecting the radio to your wireless network, these steps may help
to resolve the problem:

Verify that the Wi-Fi connected PC can access internet.
Check that a DHCP server is available or that you have configured a static IP address
on the radio. You can configure a static IP address on the radio by using the menu item
‘Configure
Network Config
Edit Config’ and then select ‘No’ for ‘Auto (DHCP)’.
3. Check that your network’s firewall is not blocking any outgoing ports. As minimum,
the radio needs access to UDP and TCP ports 80, 554, 1755, 5000, 6000 and 7070.
4. Check your access point does not restrict connections to particular MAC addresses.
You can view the radio’s MAC addresses by selecting ‘Configure
Network
Config
View Config’.
5. If you have an encrypted network, check that you have entered the correct key code
/ password. Remember that text-format keys are case sensitive. If, when attempting
to connect to an encrypted network, your radio displays: ‘Wireless error’ followed
by a 5-digit number, then please ensure that you enter the correct code / password
for the network. If the problem persists, then you may need to check your network
configuration again.
6. If your radio can connect to the network successfully, but is unable to play particular
stations, it may be due to one of the following causes:
- The station is not broadcasting at this time of the day (remember it may be located
in a different time zone).
- The station has reached the maximum allowed number of simultaneous listeners.
- The station is not broadcasting anymore.
- The link on the radio is out of date.
- The Internet connection between the server (often located in a different country)
and your radio is slow.
Try using a PC to playback the stream via the broadcaster’s web site.
If you can listen to the station through a PC, use the form at http://www.reciva.com/ to
notify “Reciva” to change the station data.

AVVERTENZE PER LA SICUREZZA

2. ALIMENTAZIONE DIRETTA DA RETE
a. La tensione di alimentazione dell’apparecchio ha un valore sufficientemente
alto da costituire un rischio di folgorazione per le persone: non procedere mai
all’installazione o connessione dell’apparecchio con il cavo d’alimentazione
collegato alla rete.
b. Prima di alimentare questo prodotto, assicurarsi che tutte le connessioni siano corrette
e che la tensione della vostra rete di alimentazione corrisponda quella di
targa dell’apparecchio, in caso contrario rivolgetevi ad un rivenditore RCF.
c. Le parti metalliche dell’apparecchio sono collegate a terra tramite il cavo di
alimentazione. Un apparecchio avente costruzione di CLASSE I deve essere connesso
alla presa di rete con un collegamento alla terra di protezione.
d. Accertarsi che il cavo di alimentazione dell’apparecchio non possa essere calpestato o
schiacciato da oggetti, al fine di salvaguardarne la perfetta integrità.
e. Per evitare il rischio di shock elettrici, non aprire mai l’apparecchio: all’interno
non vi sono parti che possono essere utilizzate dall’utente.
3. Impedire che oggetti o liquidi entrino all’interno del prodotto, perché potrebbero causare
un corto circuito. L’apparecchio non deve essere esposto a stillicidio o a spruzzi d’acqua;
nessun oggetto pieno di liquido, quali vasi, deve essere posto sull’apparecchio.
Nessuna sorgente di fiamma nuda (es. candele accese) deve essere posta
sull’apparecchio.
4. Non eseguire sul prodotto interventi / modifiche / riparazioni se non quelle espressamente
descritte sul manuale istruzioni.
Contattare centri di assistenza autorizzati o personale altamente qualificato quando:
- l’apparecchio non funziona (o funziona in modo anomalo);
- il cavo di alimentazione ha subito gravi danni;
- oggetti o liquidi sono entrati nell’apparecchio;
- l’apparecchio ha subito forti urti.
5.Qualora questo prodotto non sia utilizzato per lunghi periodi, scollegare il cavo
d’alimentazione.
6. Nel caso che dal prodotto provengano odori anomali o fumo, spegnerlo
immediatamente e scollegare il cavo d’alimentazione.
7. Non collegare a questo prodotto altri apparecchi e accessori non previsti.
Quando è prevista l’installazione sospesa, utilizzare solamente gli appositi punti di
ancoraggio e non cercare di appendere questo prodotto tramite elementi non idonei o
previsti allo scopo.
Verificare inoltre l’idoneità del supporto (parete, soffitto, struttura ecc., al quale è ancorato
il prodotto) e dei componenti utilizzati per il fissaggio (tasselli, viti, staffe non fornite

anche considerando, ad esempio, vibrazioni meccaniche normalmente generate da un
trasduttore.
Per evitare il pericolo di cadute, non sovrapporre fra loro più unità di questo prodotto,
quando questa possibilità non è espressamente contemplata dal manuale istruzioni.
8. La RCF S.p.A. raccomanda vivamente che l’installazione di questo prodotto
sia eseguita solamente da installatori professionali qualificati (oppure da ditte
specializzate) in grado di farla correttamente e certificarla in accordo con le
normative vigenti.
Tutto il sistema audio dovrà essere in conformità con le norme e le leggi vigenti
in materia di impianti elettrici.
9. Sostegni e Carrelli
Se previsto, il prodotto va utilizzato solo su carrelli o sostegni consigliati dal produttore.
L’insieme apparecchio-sostegno / carrello va mosso con estrema cura. Arresti improvvisi,
spinte eccessive e superfici irregolari o inclinate possono provocare il ribaltamento
dell’assieme.
10. Vi sono numerosi fattori meccanici ed elettrici da considerare quando si installa un
sistema audio professionale (oltre a quelli prettamente acustici, come la pressione sonora,
gli angoli di copertura, la risposta in frequenza, ecc.).
11. Perdita dell’udito
L’esposizione ad elevati livelli sonori può provocare la perdita permanente dell’udito. Il
livello di pressione acustica pericolosa per l’udito varia sensibilmente da persona a persona
e dipende dalla durata dell’esposizione. Per evitare un’esposizione potenzialmente
pericolosa ad elevati livelli di pressione acustica, è necessario che chiunque sia sottoposto
a tali livelli utilizzi delle adeguate protezioni; quando si fa funzionare un trasduttore in
grado di produrre elevati livelli sonori è necessario indossare dei tappi per orecchie o delle
cuffie protettive.
Consultare i dati tecnici contenuti nei manuali istruzioni per conoscere le massime pressioni
sonore che i diffusori acustici sono in grado di produrre.
12. Per evitare fenomeni di rumorosità indotta sui cavi che trasportano segnali audio, usare
solo cavi schermati ed evitare di posarli nelle vicinanze di:
- apparecchiature che producono campi elettromagnetici di forte intensità (per esempio trasformatori di grande di potenza);
- cavi di rete;
- linee che alimentano altoparlanti.
13. Collocare il prodotto lontano da fonti di calore.
14. Non forzare mai gli organi di comando (tasti, manopole ecc.).
15. Non usare solventi, alcool, benzina o altre sostanze volatili per la pulitura delle parti
esterne dell’unità.

INFORMAZIONI PRELIMINARI
Per utilizzare la radio via internet, è necessario che sia presente almeno uno dei seguenti:
- una connessione internet a banda larga;
- un punto d’accesso radio Wi-Fi con connessione internet a banda larga (preferibilmente
tramite un “router”);
- una rete locale (LAN) con connessione internet a banda larga (preferibilmente tramite
un “router”).
Nel menù di configurazione è possibile impostare se utilizzare solo il collegamento via
cavo oppure Wi-Fi (o entrambi).
Se la connessione (senza fili) Wi-Fi prevede la crittografia dei dati “WEP” (“Wired Equivalent
Privacy”) o “WPA” (“Wi-Fi Protected Access”), è necessario conoscere il codice d’accesso.
Prima di procedere, assicurarsi che il punto d’accesso Wi-Fi sia acceso e connesso ad
internet.
Per fare in modo che questa parte del sistema sia funzionante, è necessario leggere le
istruzioni fornite con il trasmettitore / ricevitore Wi-Fi.

L’apparecchio può essere installato in un armadio rack da 19” (1 unità) tramite le alette
laterali o posizionato su un tavolo (rimuovendo le alette svitando le 4 viti per parte).
INSERIMENTO / RIMOZIONE / SOSTITUZIONE
DELLE PILE DEL TELECOMANDO

Utilizzare 2 pile nuove di tipo AAA (1,5 V) non ricaricabili, possibilmente alcaline.
Non utilizzare contemporaneamente pile vecchie e nuove.
Non utilizzare contemporaneamente tipi diversi di batterie.
Non tentare di ricaricare batterie non ricaricabili.
Verificare che sia rispettata la polarità delle batterie, seguendo le indicazioni riportate
sul relativo vano.
- Togliere le batterie una volta esaurite o nel caso l’apparecchiatura non sia utilizzata per
un lungo periodo.
- Non cortocircuitare le pile (ad esempio collegando i 2 poli opposti con un filo di
metallo).
- Smaltire le batterie esaurite negli appositi contenitori, facendo riferimento alle norme di
legge vigenti (nel paese di utilizzo) in materia di ecologia e protezione dell’ambiente.
Il vano delle pile si trova nella parte bassa del retro del telecomando.
Premere verso il basso la leva del coperchio per rimuoverlo (figura 1).
Rimuovere (se presenti) le vecchie pile, sollevandole dal polo positivo.
Nel vano è indicata la polarità corretta delle batterie (figura 2).
Inserire 2 pile nuove di tipo AAA (1,5 V) non ricaricabili e possibilmente alcaline (facendo
attenzione alla polarità). L’inserimento si effettua ponendo prima il polo negativo contro
la molla del vano, poi spingendo verso il basso il polo positivo in modo da fissare la pila
(figura 3).

MS 1033 si compone di 2 sezioni separate ed indipendenti utilizzabili
contemporaneamente:
- internet radio con ricevitore digitale Wi-Fi / sintonizzatore radio FM tradizionale;
- lettore file audio su memorie USB o schede SD.
Il ricevitore digitale di elevata qualità integra il Wi-Fi 802.11b/g ed una porta Ethernet (RJ 45).
È possibile una valta scelta di emittenti radiofoniche da tutto il mondo (di cui oltre 350
operanti sul territorio nazionale), effettuando la ricerca in base alla nazione od al genere
musicale.
Protocolli Streaming suportati : RTSP (Real Time Streaming Protocol), MMS (Microsoft®
Media Server protocol), HTTP (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol).
Le funzioni del lettore multimediale sono state provate e certicato state per funzionare
con Microsoft® Windows XP o Windows Vista.
È incluso inoltre un sintonizzatore radio FM tradizionale (87,5 ÷ 108 MHz) con RDS per
la selezione rapida delle frequenze radio preferite.
Il lettore di supporti di memoria USB / schede SD può accedere ai file MP3 e WMA.
Ognuna delle sezioni ha una uscita audio stereo (connettore RCA) e un proprio controllo
di livello sul frontale. I display LCD relativi alle due sezioni sono retroilluminati e
forniscono rispettivamente informazioni relative alle stazioni radio internet ed alla lettura
dei file audio.

COLLEGAMENTO ALLA RETE E SELEZIONE DELLE STAZIONI
All’accensione dell’apparecchio, sul display appare per qualche secondo ‘Initialising
network’.
La ricerca della rete può impiegare un tempo fino a 30 secondi; nel caso non sia possibile
collegarsi, avviare manualmente la ricerca selezionando (dal menù principale) con il
controllo / pulsante CONTROL / SELECT }

È possibile disabilitare la rete cablata o senza fili (“wireless”) modificando il parametro
“Wired/Wireless” (Configure
Network Config
Wired/Wireless):
- normalmente, selezionare l’opzione “Auto” (scelta automatica);
- scegliere “Wired Only” per usare solo la rete cablata “Ethernet” (reti wireless: disabilitate).
- scegliere “Wireless Only” per usare solo il collegamento “wireless” Wi-Fi (Ethernet È disabilitata).
Dopo ogni selezione, si ha il riavvio della radio ed il suo tentativo di collegamento alla rete (se
disponibile).
Sarà data la possibilità di scansionare tutte le reti disponibili.
Premere CONTROL / SELECT } per selezionare.
In caso di errore, premere BACK 7 per uscire e ritornare al menù precedente.
RETI “WIRELESS”
Nel caso che la radio non riesca a trovare una rete “wireless”, ciò sarà indicato sul
display.
In tal caso, verificare che il trasmettitore Wi-Fi sia acceso e riferirsi al suo manuale d’uso
se il problema persiste.
RETI “WIRELESS”
Se la radio troverà la rete “wireless”, il suo nome sarà visualizzato sul display.
La ricerca potrebbe trovare più di una rete: ruotare il controllo CONTROL / SELECT }
per visualizzare tutte le reti disponibili e premerlo per selezionare.
Se per l’accesso alla rete non è richiesta una password, la radio si connette
immediatamente alla rete.
Se la password (WEP/WPA) è richiesta, è necessario inserirla per accedere: ruotare il
controllo CONTROL / SELECT } per selezionare un singolo carattere e premere per
passare a quello successivo (o premere BACK 7 per tornare indietro).
Quando la password è stata inserita, selezionare tra i caratteri “END” per uscire.
La radio dovrebbe ora connettersi con successo alla rete.
Nota: Le lettere maiuscole e minuscole della password sono viste come caratteri diversi!
La password per la rete corrente è automaticamente memorizzata (ed anche quelle per
altre reti usate precedentemente).
RETE LOCALE CABLATA (LAN)
Il display indica quando la radio sta cercando di collegarsi alla rete locale (LAN).
Nel caso la radio non possa connettersi alla rete cablata, il display visualizza un
messaggio d’errore; in tal caso, verificare che il cavo di rete sia collegato correttamente
alla porta LAN (RJ 45) ].

SELEZIONE DELLE STAZIONI
Quando l’apparecchio ha accesso al web tramite rete, è possibile selezionare una
stazione radio.
Selezionare “Stazioni” nel menù principale: inizialmente la lista delle stazioni è scaricata
dal portale “Reciva” (sul display: “Aggiornamento delle stazioni da Reciva”); poi, scegliere
“Posizione” o “Genere”. “Posizione” consente di scegliere una stazione secondo la sua
nazionalità (le stazioni radio sono ordinate secondo un elenco alfabetico di stati).
“Genere” permette di scegliere una stazione secondo il genere (musicale e non)

trasmesso.
Dopo aver selezionato “Posizione” o “Genere”, sarà possibile scorrere l’elenco delle
stazioni disponibile ed effettuare la selezione premendo CONTROL / SELECT }.
Fino a 6 stazioni radio possono essere memorizzate e richiamate utilizzando il
telecomando (vedere la sezione del manuale “Telecomando”, tasti 1 ÷ 6 ,).
TRASMISSIONE “A RICHIESTA”
Alcune stazioni radio forniscono altre modalità per l’ascolto, ad esempio permettendo la
riproduzione “a richiesta” di programmi registrati (che sono stati già trasmessi).
Per scegliere tra la programmazione dal vivo “Live” e quella a richiesta, usare
semplicemente il controllo CONTROL / SELECT } (ruotare e premere per selezionare).
TRASMISSIONE “A RICHIESTA”
Selezionando “A richiesta”, sarà mostrato l’elenco dei programmi disponibili.
Usare il CONTROL / SELECT } per la selezione.
Alcune stazioni potrebbero non permettere di scorrere velocemente un programma su
richiesta.
Premere BROWSE 9 ed usare il controllo CONTROL / SELECT } per scorrere in avanti
o all’indietro il programma. Premere CONTROL / SELECT } per la riproduzione dal
punto scelto.

Impostazione dell’indirizzo IP.
Per fare in modo che l’indirizzo IP sia allocato in modo dinamico, scegliere
“Sì” alla prima domanda “Auto (DHCP)?”
“DHCP” sta per “Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol”
(protocollo configurazione dinamica indirizzi).
Per impostare un indirizzo IP statico, selezionare “NO” alla domanda “Auto (DHCP)?”
(ruotare il controllo CONTROL / SELECT } per scegliere “NO” e premere per
confermare).
Il display ora mostra: “Inserire indirizzo IP”; premere CONTROL / SELECT } (di nuovo)
per entrare ed inserire l’indirizzo IP (premere CONTROL / SELECT } per il numero
successivo, BACK 7 per quello precedente).
Dopo il quarto numero, sarà richiesto il “Netmask” allo stesso modo, poi sarà necessario
inserire l’indirizzo “Gateway Address”, “Server DNS” 1, “Server DNS” 2 e “Server DNS”
3 (opzionali).

<WIRED / WIRELESS>
Questo parametro ha 3 opzioni: “Auto”, “Solo Wired”, “Solo Wireless”.
Ogni selezione causa il riavvio della radio ed il tentativo di stabilire la connessione ad
una rete disponibile. Quando la connessione sarà stabilita, il collegamento sarà presente
fino a quando la radio rimarrà accesa. Normalmente, selezionare l’opzione “Auto”
(impostazione automatica);
scegliere “Solo Wired” per usare la sola rete Ethernet (le reti wireless ‘Wi-Fi’ sono
disattivate);
scegliere “Solo Wireless” per usare solo la connessione Wi-Fi (la rete Ethernet è
disabilitata).
<SEGNALE DI AVVISO>
Questo parametro permette di attivare / disattivare la visualizzazione un messaggio
d’errore (sul display della radio) quando il segnale della rete è troppo basso.
– VERSIONE
Sono mostrate le versioni del software e dell’hardware.
– AGGIORNAMENTO FIRMWARE
Selezionare questa opzione per scaricare le nuove versioni del firmware (dal sito internet
di “Reciva”). Se un nuovo firmware sarà disponibile, la radio chiederà conferma sulla
volontà di scaricarlo ed installarlo (oppure no); è ancora possibile annullare l’operazione
premendo BACK 7.
L’aggiornamento del firmware può impiegare alcuni minuti: NON spegnere la radio
fino a quando l’operazione non sarà completata, altrimenti la radio potrebbe non
riavviarsi più.
– LINGUA
Selezionare la lingua desiderata per le indicazioni sul display.
– RIPRISTINO DELLE IMPOSTAZIONI DI FABBRICA
Rispondendo “Sì” alla richiesta “Conferma ?”, si reimpostano tutti i parametri della radio
ai loro valori iniziali di fabbrica. IMPORTANTE: il ripristino delle impostazioni di
fabbrica comporta la perdita della configurazione precedente!
– REGISTRO
Il display mostra un codice per registrare la radio sul sito di “Reciva”: www.reciva.com.
– SETUP OROLOGIO
Premere CONTROL / SELECT } per entrare, scegliere la zona ed impostare
manualmente sia il tempo sia la data. Premere CONTROL / SELECT } più volte per
modificare in sequenza ore, minuti, giorno, mese, anno. Alla fine, il display indicherà “Ora
e data impostate”.
– BACKLIGHT
Premere CONTROL / SELECT } per entrare ed impostare la retroilluminazione del
display.
È possibile impostare 2 valori (0 ÷ 31): un per lo stato “Attivo”, uno per il modo
“Standby”;
Nota: è presente inoltre un’impostazione fissa per lo stato “inattivo”. Lo stato “attivo”
è quando l’utente sta usando i controlli della radio: lo stato “inattivo” si ha dopo circa
20 secondi dall’ultima operazione effettuata da parte dell’utente. “Standby”: quando la
radio è stata spenta in modalità “stand-by”.
– CONTRASTO
Premere CONTROL / SELECT } per accedere ed impostare il contrasto del display.
– UPnP
È possibile assegnare un nome alla radio in modo che il server “UPnP” non la veda
come “Dispositivo sconosciuto” (vedere la sezione successiva del manuale “Internet
radio – Funzionamento del lettore di file audio via server UPnP”).

Se il vostro PC ha come sistema operativo “Microsoft Windows® XP” o “Vista”, è
possibile utilizzare il software “Windows Media Player 11” come server UPnP (“Universal
Plug and Play”).
“Windows Media Player 11” può essere scaricato dal sito web della Microsoft ed

IMPORTANTE
IMPOSTAZIONI DEL SERVER UPNP
SUL PC CON S.O. WINDOWS
È ora necessario collegare la radio a Windows Media Player 11 e configurarla per
accedere al catalogo multimediale:
- per permettere alla radio l’accesso ai file audio, nel software “Windows Media Player 11”
occorre cliccare su “Catalogo multimediale” e selezionare “Condivisione file multimediali...”
per aprire la rispettiva finestra;

- dal menù principale della radio, selezionare “Media Player →Server UPnP” con il controllo
CONTROL / SELECT } (ruotare e premere per selezionare);
- la radio effettua la ricerca di tutti i server UPnP disponibili; nota: servono alcuni secondi
per completare la scansione e, prima che questa sia completata, il display indica
“Nessun PC trovato” (fino a quando non si è trovato un server);
- se la ricerca ha successo, selezionare il vostro server UPnP tramite il controllo CONTROL
/ SELECT }. Nota: a questo punto, il display della radio indica “Accesso negato”.
- Nella finestra “Condivisione file multimediali”, la radio è mostrata come “Dispositivo
sconosciuto”; cliccare sulla rispettiva icona, poi su “Consenti” ed infine su “OK”.
LOCALIZZARE E RIPRODURRE FILE AUDIO
Dopo aver configurato il server “UPnP”, si possono riprodurre i file audio condivisi.
- Premere più volte il tasto BACK 7 fino al menù principale ed utilizzare il controllo
CONTROL / SELECT } per selezionare “Media Player”.
- Selezionare “Server UPnP” per avviare la ricerca di tutti i server “UPnP” disponibili
nota : potrebbero occorrere alcuni secondi per completare la scansione e , nel
frattempo , il display indica “V uoto ”.
- Se la ricerca ha successo, scegliere il server “UPnP” tramite CONTROL / SELECT }.
- La radio ora elenca le categorie disponibili sul server “UPnP”, ad esempio “Musica”,
“Playlist”, ecc. . Ruotare il controllo CONTROL / SELECT } per scegliere la categoria
e premerlo per confermare. Usare ancora CONTROL / SELECT } per selezionare
un’eventuale sottocategoria e scegliere il file audio .wma da riprodurre.
- Il display mostra ora l’opzione “Aggiungi alla lista”: se selezionata (tramite il controllo
CONTROL / SELECT }), si aggiunge il file alla lista per la riproduzione.
LOCALIZZARE E RIPRODURRE
FILE AUDIO
ESEMPI (ruotare il controllo CONTROL / SELECT } per scorrere l’elenco, premerlo per
selezionare).
1. Per ascoltare una singola traccia: selezionare l’artista, l’album e la rispettiva traccia.
2. Per ascoltare un album completo: selezionare l’artista ed il rispettivo album.
3. Inserire tracce nella lista per la riproduzione: scegliere una traccia e poi “Aggiungi
alla lista”.
4. Inserire album nella lista per la riproduzione: scegliere un album e poi “Aggiungi alla
lista”.
RIPRODUZIONE DEI FILE AUDIO
Premere il tasto PLAY/PAUSE 5 per avviare o mettere in pausa la riproduzione.
Premere DOWN 4 per selezionare la traccia precedente della lista; premere UP 6 per
selezionare quella successiva.
È inoltre possibile usare i tasti x c n m del telecomando (“internet radio”).

La ripetizione delle tracce può inoltre essere abilitata premendo il tasto MODE P.
ALLARMI
L’orologio interno si sincronizza automaticamente con il tempo della rete (se disponibile).
È ovviamente possibile impostare l’orologio interno manualmente, selezionando
“Configura
Setup Orologio”.
Nel menù principale, selezionare “Orologio con allarme” tramite il controllo CONTROL /
SELECT }, poi premerlo di nuovo su “Impostazione degli allarmi” per entrare.
La radio consente di impostare 2 diversi allarmi.
Tramite il controllo CONTROL / SELECT } selezionare un’opzione tra “Disattiva tutto”,
il primo allarme od il secondo. “Disabilita tutto” disattiva entrambi gli allarmi.
Quando si seleziona un allarme (usare CONTROL / SELECT } per selezionare, premere
BACK 7 per ritornare al valore precedente):
- per prima cosa, è necessario impostare l’ora esatta d’avvio;
- in seguito è possibile scegliere tra “Once” (solo una volta), “Every Day” (ogni giorno),
“Weekly” (settimanalmente), “Weekdays” (nei giorni lavorativi), “Weekends” (nei fine
settimana);
- se si seleziona “Once” o “Weekly”, è inoltre necessario specificare quale giorno;
- alla fine, selezionare il tipo di allarme: il cicalino od una stazione radio memorizzata.

REGISTRAZIONE SUL SITO WEB “RECIVA”
1. Sul PC, con un browser, aprire il sito web https://www.reciva.com/ .
2. Cliccare sul link “Register” e seguire le istruzioni sullo schermo per registrarsi.
Successivamente, sarà possibile modificare il vostro profilo cliccando su “Profile” (e
poi su “Update” per confermare i cambiamenti).
3. Aprire il sito https://radios.reciva.com/ e registrare la vostra radio inserendo il
codice (che può essere ottenuto selezionando sulla radio “Configura
Registro”.
Successivamente, aggiungere la radio al vostro profilo nel sito web di Reciva.
4. Dopo aver effettuato l’accesso, cliccare su “ManageMyStuff”: si potranno modificare
i dati relativi a “MyStations” (“Le mie emittenti”), “MyStreams” (“I miei stream”),
“MyPodcasts” (“I miei podcast”) ed inoltre “MyRadios” (tutte le radio dell’utente).

SUL SITO WEB “RECIVA”
CONFIGURARE “MY STATIONS”
1. Ora è possibile ricercare stazioni radio tra quelle disponibili negli elenchi di Reciva.
Quando si ricercano stazioni sul sito web, è mostrata la lista dei risultati insieme ad
un collegamento a “Add to My Stations” (“Aggiungi alle mie emittenti”).
2. Cliccare su “AddtoMyStations”, la stazione selezionata è aggiunta al vostro elenco
di emittenti preferite. Cliccare su “MyStations” per modificare l’elenco (nota: il tasto
“Delete” cancella la stazione selezionata).
3. Una volta che una o più stazioni sono presenti nell’elenco “My Stations”, queste
si possono richiamare velocemente nella vostra radio. Riaccendere la radio e
selezionare “Stazioni” dal menù principale (le nuove stazioni saranno disponibili
solo dopo che la radio ha aggiornato l’elenco dal sito web “Reciva”). Riaccendere la
radio (di nuovo); una nuova opzione è ora disponibile nel menù principale: “La mia
roba”; entrare e selezionare “Le miei emittenti”.
CONFIGURARE “MY STATIONS”
CONFIGURARE “MY STREAMS”
1. Dopo aver effettuato l’accesso, è possibile aggiungere degli “stream” al vostro
elenco “My Streams”.
2. Cliccare su “My Streams”: sarà richiesto l’inserimento del nome dello “stream” ed
il suo indirizzo URL, il quale dovrebbe essere un collegamento diretto al sito web
dove è effettivamente disponibile lo stream. In caso di dubbi su come localizzare
l’indirizzo URL dello stream in una pagina web, riferirsi alla sezione “FAQs” sul sito
web di “Reciva” (http://www.reciva.com).
CONFIGURARE “MY STREAMS”
Una volta che uno o più “stream” sono presenti nell’elenco “My Streams”, questi
si possono richiamare velocemente nella vostra radio. Riaccendere la radio e
selezionare “Stazioni” dal menù principale (occorre aggiornare l’elenco dal sito
web “Reciva”). Riaccendere la radio (di nuovo); gli “stream” saranno ora disponibili
selezionando la nuova opzione del menù “La mia roba
I miei stream”.
CONFIGURARE “MY PODCASTS”
1. Dopo aver effettuato l’accesso, è possibile aggiungere dei “podcast” al vostro
elenco “My Podcasts”.
2. Cliccare su “My Podcasts”: sarà possibile aggiunger dei podcast selezionati
inserendone il nome e gli indirizzi URL. Nota: gli indirizzi URL devono essere flussi
RSS diretti con estensione .xml (es. http://someurl.com/podcast.xml).
3. Una volta che uno o più “podcast” sono presenti nell’elenco “My Podcasts”,
questi si possono richiamare velocemente nella vostra radio. Riaccendere la radio
e selezionare “Stazioni” dal menù principale (occorre aggiornare l’elenco dal sito
web “Reciva”). Riaccendere la radio (di nuovo); i “podcast” saranno ora disponibili
selezionando la nuova opzione del menù “La mia roba
I miei podcast”.

RISOLUZIONE DEI PROBLEMI
Nel caso che non sia posssibile collegare la radio alla rete wireless, i seguenti consigli
potrebbero aiutarvi a risolvere il problema.

Verificare che il PC connesso alla rete Wi-Fi possa accedere ad internet.
Verificare che un server DHCP sia disponibile o di aver configurato un indirizzo IP statico
sulla radio (dal menù principale: “Configura
Configurazione della rete

configurazione”; selezionare “No” alla richiesta “Auto (DHCP)”.
3. Verificare che il “firewall” della rete non blocchi porte in uscita. Come minimo, la
radio deve accedere alle porte UDP e TCP 80, 554, 1755, 5000, 6000 e 7070.
4. Controllare che il punto d’accesso non consenta la connessione a particolari
indirizzi MAC. È possibile visualizzare gli indirizzi MAC selezionando “Configura
Configurazione
della rete
Vedi configurazione”.
5. Se la rete è protetta, verificare di aver inserito il codice (o la password corretta).
Ricordarsi che le lettere maiuscole e minuscole non sono viste come lo stesso
carattere (“case sensitive”). Se, quando si tenta di connettersi alla rete, il display
della radio indica un errore seguito da un numero a 5 cifre, assicurarsi di aver
inserito il codice corretto per la rete.
Se il problema persiste, è probabilmente necessario verificare la configurazione della rete.
6. Se la radio si connette alla rete, ma non è possibile ascoltare alcune stazioni,
potrebbe dipendere da una delle seguenti cause:
- la stazione non trasmette a quest’ora del giorno (ricordarsi che la radio potrebbe
essere in uno stato con fuso orario differente);
- la stazione ha raggiunto il numero massimo di utenti collegati;
- la stazione non trasmette più;
- il collegamento alla stazione non è aggiornato;
- la connessione internet tra il server (spesso in un altro paese) e la vostra radio è lenta.
Provare ad utilizzare un PC per l’ascolto della radio tramite il sito web dell’emittente.
Se è possibile ascoltare la radio con il PC, compilare il modulo all’indirizzo web
http://www.reciva.com/ per notificare a Reciva la necessità di aggiornare i dati della
stazione radio.

- se il display indica “NO CARD”, premere FUNCTION i (l sul telecomando);
- se il display indica “NO FILE”, nessun file audio è stato trovato sul supporto;
- se il display indica “NO USB”, la memoria USB non può essere letta (assicurarsi
correttamente inserita nella porta dedicata).

Regolare il volume tramite il controllo “VOLUME” p sul pannello frontale oppure i tasti
VOL– j / VOL+ k del telecomando.
Le informazioni (se disponibili) sul file audio riprodotto sono mostrate ogni 15 secondi.
Premere PLAY / PAUSE r (sul pannello frontale) oppure PAUSE d (sul telecomando)
per fermare momentaneamente la riproduzione.
Premere ancora PLAY / PAUSE r (o PLAY : sul telecomando) per riavviare la
riproduzione.
Tener premuto per 3 secondi PLAY / PAUSE r (oppure premere STOP J sul telecomando)
per fermare la riproduzione.
Il numero totale dei file audio e delle cartelle sono indicati sul display (es. 50 file e 6 cartelle).

Prima di inserire una scheda SD, è consigliabile spegnere il lettore USB / SD premendo il
tasto STAND-BY u (H sul telecomando).
Inserire una scheda SD (con file audio) nella porta dedicata w sul pannello frontale.
Note:
- se il display indica “NO USB”, premere FUNCTION i (l sul telecomando);
- se il display indica “NO FILE”, nessun file audio è stato trovato sul supporto;
- se il display indica “NO CARD”, la scheda SD non può essere letta (assicurarsi che sia
correttamente inserita nella porta dedicata).
