COME ARRIVARE IN CITTà
GETTING TO VERONA
In Auto La provincia di Verona è
attraversata da est a ovest dall’autostrada
A4, che serve la città con le uscite di Verona
Est e Sud e le altre zone della provincia
con i caselli di Soave, Sommacampagna
e Peschiera (Lago di Garda); è inoltre
attraversata in direzione nord-sud dalla
A22 Modena-Brennero, con uscite a
Nogarole Rocca per la Pianura Veronese,
a Verona Nord per la città e ad Affi per
il Lago di Garda e il Monte Baldo. Per gli
autobus turistici prima di entrare in città è
necessario acquistare il titolo d’ingresso,
costo E 30, che dà diritto solo all’ingresso e
al carico e scarico dei passeggeri. Il titolo si
può acquistare: on line www.amt.it, o negli
autogrill convenzionati in prossimità delle
uscite autostradali di Verona. Sono esentati
dal pagamento del ticket d’ingresso i bus
diretti agli alberghi e quelli che effettuano
servizio di trasporto delle scolaresche di ogni
ordine e grado, oltre a quelli che effettuano
servizio di trasporto disabili autorizzato.
In Treno Verona è attraversata dalla
principale linea ferroviaria nel nord Italia,
la Milano-Venezia, con collegamenti molto
frequenti da e per le altre città venete
(Venezia, Padova, Vicenza) e lombarde
(Brescia, Milano). Altrettanto importante
la linea che collega Roma con Trento, il
Brennero e tutto il nord Europa. Stazione
centrale: Verona Porta Nuova.

In Aereo L’Aeroporto Valerio Catullo, a
soli 12 chilometri da Verona, in località
Villafranca, è facilmente raggiungibile
dall’autostrada e dalla città. Offre
collegamenti di linea con varie località
del centro-sud Italia (Roma, Bari, Napoli,
Cagliari, Catania, Palermo) e con i principali
paesi europei quali la Germania, la Francia,
l’Inghilterra, i Paesi Bassi, la Spagna,
l’Austria, e vari voli charter. Per informazioni

24.00. C’è un servizio di autobus-navetta da
e per l’aeroporto ogni 20 minuti circa dalle
5.40 alle 23.10 costo del biglietto E 4,50, per

è situato davanti alla stazione ferroviaria di
Verona Porta Nuova.
By Car The A4 Motorway crosses the
province of Verona from east to west. There
are two city exits, Verona Sud (suggested to
the fair) and Verona Est, in addition to exits
located throughout the province at Soave,
Sommacampagna and Peschiera (Lake
Garda). The A4 Motorway is also intersected
north to south by the A22 Modena-Brennero
Motorway, with exits at Verona Nord for the
city and Valpolicella district; at Nogarole
Rocca for the Veronese plain; and at Affi for
Lake Garda and Mount Baldo.
An Entry Ticket for tour buses entering the
ZTL area is compulsory. Drivers will have
to buy the ticket at a cost of E 30 which
will authorize the bus to enter the city only
to drop off and pick up passengers. The
Entry Ticket can be bought: on www.amt.it;
at participating bar-and-grills located on
the motorway near the exits for Verona.
Coaches taking guests to hotels in the city,
those bringing groups of school children
and students to visit the city, as well as any
buses authorized to transport the disabled,
will be exempt from the Entry Fee.
By Train Verona is served by the main
train line for northern Italy, the Milan-Venice
line. The line offers frequent connections
to other cities in Veneto (Venice, Padova,
Vicenza) and Lombardy (Brescia, Milan). The
city is also intersected by another important
train line which connects Rome to Trento,
the Brenner Pass and northern Europe. The
central station is Verona Porta Nuova. For

By Plane The Valerio Catullo Airport,
situated in Villafranca, just 12 kilometres
from Verona, is easily reached by Motorway
and from the city. The airport offers
connections to various locations in central
and southern Italy (Rome, Bari, Cagliari,
Catania, Palermo) and to principal European
countries, including Germany, France,
England, The Netherlands, Spain, Austria
and various Charter flights.

COME MUOVERSI IN CITTà
GETTING AROUND THE CITY
In Auto L’accesso al centro storico (zona a
traffico limitato) è libero per tutti dal lunedì
al venerdì: dalle 10.00 alle 13.30, dalle 16.00
alle 18.00 e dalle 20.00 alle 22.00. Sabato,
domenica e festivi dalle 10.00 alle 13.30. Il
parcheggio è consentito esponendo il Verona
Park, ticket orario a pagamento (da E 1,00 a
E 1,50 a seconda della zona) in vendita nelle
tabaccherie o nei bar autorizzati. Per i turisti è
previsto il rilascio di permessi per il transito
senza limitazione di orario e per la sosta negli apposti stalli, se alloggiati presso attività
ricettive alberghiere ed extralberghiere site
all’interno della Zona a Traffico Limitato. Essi
sono distribuiti ai clienti da parte degli esercenti delle attività stesse. Parcheggi gratuiti:
Stadio, Piazzale Guardini, Via Frà Giocondo,

a.m-1.30 p.m. Parking is permitted using “Verona Park” pre-paid parking cards, available
at tobacconists and authorized cafés (cost
vaires from E 1-1,50, depending on zone).
Tourists staying in the Green Zone will receive permits for unlimited transit and parking
in appointed areas from their hotel or other
lodging facility. Free parking is located at
the Stadium (Stadio), Piazzale Guardini, Via
Frà Giocondo and Viale Colonnello Galiano.

In Autobus I biglietti per gli autobus urbani
si acquistano presso le tabaccherie e le edicole. Il biglietto costa E 1,00 ed è valido per
tutti i percorsi per 60 minuti. Esiste un biglietto giornaliero che costa E 3,50. Sia il biglietto
orario che quello giornaliero valgono per l’intera rete urbana. Acquistando la VeronaCard

The Hotel Accademia overlooks
Via Mazzini, the renowed Veronese

For many centuries, on the lower slopes of Mount

GETTING TO VERONA
In Auto La provincia di Verona è
attraversata da est a ovest dall’autostrada
A4, che serve la città con le uscite di Verona
Est e Sud e le altre zone della provincia
con i caselli di Soave, Sommacampagna
e Peschiera (Lago di Garda); è inoltre
attraversata in direzione nord-sud dalla
A22 Modena-Brennero, con uscite a
Nogarole Rocca per la Pianura Veronese,
a Verona Nord per la città e ad Affi per
il Lago di Garda e il Monte Baldo. Per gli
autobus turistici prima di entrare in città è
necessario acquistare il titolo d’ingresso,
costo E 30, che dà diritto solo all’ingresso e
al carico e scarico dei passeggeri. Il titolo si
può acquistare: on line www.amt.it, o negli
autogrill convenzionati in prossimità delle
uscite autostradali di Verona. Sono esentati
dal pagamento del ticket d’ingresso i bus
diretti agli alberghi e quelli che effettuano
servizio di trasporto delle scolaresche di ogni
ordine e grado, oltre a quelli che effettuano
servizio di trasporto disabili autorizzato.
In Treno Verona è attraversata dalla
principale linea ferroviaria nel nord Italia,
la Milano-Venezia, con collegamenti molto
frequenti da e per le altre città venete
(Venezia, Padova, Vicenza) e lombarde
(Brescia, Milano). Altrettanto importante
la linea che collega Roma con Trento, il
Brennero e tutto il nord Europa. Stazione
centrale: Verona Porta Nuova.

In Aereo L’Aeroporto Valerio Catullo, a
soli 12 chilometri da Verona, in località
Villafranca, è facilmente raggiungibile
dall’autostrada e dalla città. Offre

Cagliari, Catania, Palermo) e con i principali
paesi europei quali la Germania, la Francia,

By Car The A4 Motorway crosses the
province of Verona from east to west. There
are two city exits, Verona Sud (suggested to
the fair) and Verona Est, in addition to exits
located throughout the province at Soave,
Sommacampagna and Peschiera (Lake
Garda). The A4 Motorway is also intersected
north to south by the A22 Modena-Brennero
Motorway, with exits at Verona Nord for the
city and Valpolicella district; at Nogarole
Rocca for the Veronese plain; and at Affi for
Lake Garda and Mount Baldo.
An Entry Ticket for tour buses entering the
ZTL area is compulsory. Drivers will have
to buy the ticket at a cost of E 30 which
will authorize the bus to enter the city only
to drop off and pick up passengers. The
Entry Ticket can be bought: on www.amt.it;
at participating bar-and-grills located on
the motorway near the exits for Verona.
Coaches taking guests to hotels in the city,
those bringing groups of school children
and students to visit the city, as well as any
buses authorized to transport the disabled,
will be exempt from the Entry Fee.
By Train Verona is served by the main
train line for northern Italy, the Milan-Venice
line. The line offers frequent connections
to other cities in Veneto (Venice, Padova,
Vicenza) and Lombardy (Brescia, Milan). The
city is also intersected by another important
train line which connects Rome to Trento,
the Brenner Pass and northern Europe. The
central station is Verona Porta Nuova. For

By Plane The Valerio Catullo Airport,
situated in Villafranca, just 12 kilometres
from Verona, is easily reached by Motorway
and from the city. The airport offers
connections to various locations in central
and southern Italy (Rome, Bari, Cagliari,
Catania, Palermo) and to principal European
countries, including Germany, France,
England, The Netherlands, Spain, Austria
and various Charter flights.
