Ricerca e Sviluppo da sempre pone una grande attenzione alla

interni, per grandi spazi e per l’industria edilizia, dall’altro a quelli legati
alla progettazione e realizzazione di edifici salubri, energicamente

team is constantly looking for ways to create and improve upon our
materials for interior furnishings and the building industry with the
environment in mind. We have created products that meet or exceed
the minimum standards for low emissions for indoor air quality. We
also have developed products that help meet the required standards
for healthy buildings with energy savings of low environmental
impact. SANTAMARGHERITA® is proud to announce that our
products have obtained important certifications from both NSF®
and GREENGUARD®. Furthermore, working in cooperation with the
Green Building Council Italy, of which SANTAMARGHERITA® is a
Member in good standing, and with the Trentino Technological District,
we have issued our “LEED Protocol Statement” in compliance with
the USGBC (United States Green Building Council) standards.

Il laboratorio R&S è attrezzato con tecnologie
all’avanguardia per eseguire, al proprio interno, sia il
controllo delle materie prime sia le prove di caratterizzazione
prescritte dalle norme di prodotto per gli agglomerati.
SANTAMARGHERITA ® , azienda moderna ed innovativa,
attraverso il settore R&S ha lavorato al progetto “Sviluppo di
nuovi agglomerati quarzo-resina con spessore sottile, elevata
flessibilità, opalescenza e proprietà antistatiche, adatti all’impiego
sia interno che esterno” che studia e implementa nuovi prodotti
dalle importanti proprietà fisiche. Tale progetto è stato realizzato
con il co-finanziamento della REGIONE VENETO nell’ambito
del DOCUP Obiettivo 2, 2000-2006, Misura 1.7 - Azione C:
“Contributi a sostegno degli investimenti per la ricerca industriale
nelle piccole e medie imprese” - Bando 2006. È stata inoltre
promossa una collaborazione con il Dipartimento di Ingegneria dei
Materiali e Tecnologie Industriali (DIMTI) dell’Università di Trento.
Collaborazioni si hanno con i centri R&S di aziende fornitrici di
materia prima, in modo particolare con produttori di resine e
additivi. Dal 2009 SANTAMARGHERITA® è anche sponsor del
Master Universitario in Progettazione con la Pietra, organizzato
dal Politecnico di Milano.

SANTAMARGHERITA® is both a modern and innovative
firm. Our R&D laboratory is equipped with the cutting-edge
technology to test and cer tify the raw materials prior to
production as required by law. Our R&D team was par t of
the task force of the VENETO REGION special project called
“Developing new quar tz-resin agglomerates that are very slim,
very flexible, opalescent and antistatic, suitable for interior and
exterior use”. This impor tant project was par t of the DOCUP
Objective 2, 2000-2006, Measure 1.7 - Action C: Contributions to
suppor t investments for industrial research in small and medium
enterprise” - 2006 Announcement. We worked in cooperation
with the Depar tment of Materials Engineering and Industrial
Technology (DIMTI) at Trento University and with the R&D
depar tments of suppliers of raw materials (the producers of
resins and additives). The project focus was on researching and
implementing new products with impor tant physical proper ties.
Since 2009 SANTAMARGHERITA® has also been a sponsor for
the University Master in Designing in Stone, organized by Milan
Polytechnic.

The addition of mirror chips gives a movement of lights and
