» What is the MeranCard?
The MeranCard includes a number of services that you can enjoy without
additional charge or at a discounted price.
– Free use of all public transportation throughout South Tyrol
– Free rides on the public cable cars in South Tyrol
– Free entrance to more than 90 museums in South Tyrol
– 10% discount on bike rentals at „Sportservice Erwin Stricker” rental stations
– 10% discount on ski rentals at „Sportservice Erwin Stricker” rental stations
– Access to the GuestCard advantages
» What does the MeranCard cost?
MERANCARD - INCLUDED SERVICES
The MeranCard is not available for purchase. The MeranCard is handed out at
selected partner accomodations in Merano and environs to guests who stay at
least one night. The card is included in the room price.

» How long is the MeranCard valid?
» Bus and train
– Use of all public means of transportation belonging
to the South Tyrol Integrated Transport Network:
all city and extra – urban buses
– Regional trains in South Tyrol (Brennero – Trento, Malles –
San Candido). The card is not valid on Italian InterRegional
trains or on ÖBB, DB, Eurostar or Intercity trains.
– The PostBus Switzerland between Malles and Müstair
» Cable cars
- The cable cars to Renon, Maranza, San Genesio,
Meltina and Verano
- The narrow-gauge railway in Renon and the cable
railway up to the Mendel Mountain
The MeranCard is valid from 15th October 2016 to 30th June 2017 and can be
obtained at selected partner companies. The card is valid for your entire stay,
provided that it coincides with the validity period of the card. Should you stay
for longer than one week, you are entitled to another benefits card. The card
must be validated each time you use public transportation or visit a museum.
You must present the card in order to benefit from the discounts provided by
the MeranCard.

» Who receives the MeranCard?
All guests of the selected partner companies in Merano and Environs
get a card of their own. Children aged between 6 and 14 get a junior card.
Children under the age of 6 do not require a MeranCard.
The card is personalized and cannot be transferred.
