Change of the amount of Default Fund for the New MIC
Guarantee System

Dear Sir / Madam,
We would like to inform you that as from tomorrow, July 12th, the amount of the Default Fund for the
New MIC Guarantee System will be changed from € 280 million to € 330 million.
As from the same day:
- the variation of the Contribution Quota will be provided by means of the ICWS (Default Fund menu)
and the message M01 through RNI;
- debtor Members or their Settlement Agents will have to fund their PM account in the TARGET2
System in order to allow CC&G to direct debit the amount due 1 (the Debit Period will start at 9:00
and will end at 9:30 CET) 2;
- CC&G will credit PM accounts of creditor Members or their relevant Settlement Agents 1.
The title used by CC&G for the payments will be BOR-MIC.
On CC&G website www.lseg.com/ccg the following documents are also available:
in the section “New Mic - Default Fund Parameters”, the total amount of the Default Fund and the
other parameters used for the calculation of the Contribution Quota;
in the section “New Mic - Documentation”, the calculation methodology of the Contribution
Quota.

Through the Ancillary procedure n.3 (Bilateral Settlement).
The debited amounts will be indicated to the Clearing Members or their relevant Settlement Agent by CC&G
through the “Information Period” sent to TARGET2 System via ICM at 7:45 a.m. and, if active, through “Daily
Statement of Payments” (messages M03 via RNI and messages MT298 via SWIFT).

Modifica dell’ammontare del Default Fund relativo al Sistema di
Garanzia New MIC
Egregi Signori / Gentili Signore,
a partire da domani 12 Luglio, l’ammontare del Default Fund relativo al Sistema di Garanzia New MIC
passerà da € 280 milioni a € 330 milioni.
Nella stessa giornata:
-
nel menu Default Fund della ICWS e per il tramite del messaggio M01 sulla RNI sarà segnalata la
variazione delle Quote di Contribuzione dovute;
-
i Partecipanti debitori o i relativi Agenti di Regolamento dovranno rendere capiente il proprio
Conto PM nel Sistema TARGET2 affinché CC&G possa provvedere all’addebito diretto delle somme
dovute3 (il periodo di addebito inizierà alle ore 9:00 e terminerà alle ore 9:304);

CC&G accrediterà i Conti PM dei Partecipanti creditori o dei relativi Agenti di Regolamento.1
Si ricorda a tal fine che la causale di pagamento utilizzata da CC&G sarà BOR-MIC.
Sul sito web di CC&G www.lseg.com/ccg è inoltre disponibile la seguente documentazione:
alla sezione “New Mic - Default Fund Parameters”, l’ammontare complessivo del Default Fund e
gli altri parametri utilizzati per il calcolo delle Quote di Contribuzione;
alla sezione “New Mic – Documentation”, le modalità di calcolo delle Quote di
Contribuzione.

Utilizzando la procedura ancillare n.3 (c.d. Bilateral Settlement).
Gli importi in addebito saranno notificati da CC&G al Partecipante Diretto o al relativo Agente di Regolamento
mediante il “preavviso di pagamento” inviato nel Sistema TARGET2 via ICM alle ore 7:45 e, qualora attivata,
tramite la “Rendicontazione giornaliera dei pagamenti” (messaggi M03 via RNI e messaggi MT298 via SWIFT).
