Quickstart manual
Activation Key:
The key found printed in the box is for multiplayer mode only. The game will
ask you to enter the key when going online for the first time. You will not need
it to install the game or to play in the various single player modes.
Windows Vista / Seven users:
GT Legends was not originally made to be used with Windows Vista or Windows 7, but by following these few simple guidelines, you should be ensured a
smooth installation and gaming experience even on these operating systems.
• Make sure your DirectX version is up to date
(Check your version here: http://www.gamesforwindows.com/en-US/
directx/)
• Make sure your graphic card drivers are up to date.
(Visit your graphics card supplier website)
• Install the game by starting the installer as an administrator
(Right click the Setup executable and select “run as administrator”)
• Install the game outside of any system folder.
For example, installing the game in C:\GTL\ can prevent a lot of potential issues.
• Always run the shortcuts (all of them) as an administrator
(Right click them, and select “Run as Administrator”)
• It can help to run the game .exe in Windows XP SP2 or SP3 compatibility mode
(Right click the game shortcut, go to “Properties” and then click the tab “Compatibility”. Select the desired compatibility mode and validate your changes)
SETUP & INSTALLATION:
1. Start Windows ®
2.Insert the DVD into your DVD-ROM drive. If AutoPlay is enabled, a
launcher will appear. Start the installer and follow the instructions on your
screen.
3.If no launcher appears, browse to your DVD-ROM drive, using the file
explorer. You will find the Setup executable on your DVD. Double click it to
start the installation and follow the instructions on your screen.
4.Once the installation is complete, the configuration tool will start.
5.Select your screen resolution and the settings you want the game to use
and validate your choice.
6.Start the game.

Aktivierungsschlüssel:
Der Schlüssel, welcher sich in ausgedruckter Form in der Box befindet, ist ausschliesslich für den Multiplayer Modus notwendig. Sobald Du das erste mal den
Multiplayer Modus verwendest, wird dieser vom Spiel abgefragt. Der Schlüssel
wird nicht benötigt, um das Spiel zu installieren oder die verschiedenen Einzelspieler Modi zu benutzen.

Windows Vista / 7 Benutzer:
GT Legends war ursprünglich nicht Windows Vista oder Windows 7 kompatibel,
aber unter Einhaltung folgender Richtlinien sollte eine fehlerfreie Installation und
reibungsloses Spiel Erlebnis auf oben genannten Betriebssystemen sichergestellt
sein.
• Versichere Dich, dass Deine DirectX Version aktuell ist. (Überprüfe Deine
Version hier: http://www.gamesforwindows.com/en-US/directx/ )
• Versichere Dich, dass Deine Grafiktreiber aktuell sind. (Besuche die Webseite
Deines Grafikkarten Herstellers)
• Führe die Installationsdatei als Administrator aus. (Clicke hierfür mit der rechten Maustaste auf die Setup.exe und wähle „als Administrator ausführen“ aus)
• Installiere das Spiel ausserhalb der typischen System Ordner.
Eine Installation in das Verzeichnis „C:\GTL\“ kann beispielsweise vielerlei

• Führe jegliche Verknüpfungen stets als Administrator aus. (Clicke hierfür mit
der rechten Maustaste auf die Verknüpfung und wähle „als Administrator
ausführen“ aus)
• Es kann hilfreich sein die Spiel .exe im Windows XP SP2 oder SP3 Kompatibilitätsmodus auszuführen. (Clicke hierfür mit der rechten Maustaste auf die
Verknüpfung, wähle Eigenschaften und gehe zum Kompatibilitäts Tab. Wähle
dort den gewünschten Modus aus und bestätige deine Änderungen)
SETUP & INSTALLATION:
1. Starte Windows ®
2.Lege die DVD in das DVD-ROM Laufwerk ein. Wenn Autoplay aktiviert ist,
wird ein Launcher eingeblendet. Starte den Installer und folge den Anweisung auf dem Bildschirm.
3.Sollte kein Launcher eingeblendet werden, öffne das DVD-ROM Verzeichnis
im Windows Explorer, wo sich die setup.exe befindet. Führe diese mit einem
Doppelclick aus und folge den Anweisungen auf dem Bildschirm.
4. Nach Beenden der Installation wird das Konfigurations Tool gestartet.

Clé d’activation:
La clé imprimée dans la boîte n’ est utile que pour le mode multijoueur.
Le jeu vous demandera d’entrer la clé lors du passage en ligne pour la
première fois. Vous n’en aurez pas besoin pour installer le jeu ou pour jouer
aux différents modes en solo.
Utilisateurs de Windows Vista / Seven:
GT Legends n’a pas été initialement conçu pour être utilisé avec Windows
Vista ou Windows 7, mais en suivant ces quelques règles simples, vous
devriez être assuré d’une installation et d’une expérience de jeu sans problèmes sur ces systèmes d’exploitation.
• Assurez-vous que votre version de DirectX est à jour. (Vérifiez votre version
ici: http://www.gamesforwindows.com/en-US/directx/ )
• Assurez-vous que vos pilotes de carte graphique sont à jour.
(Consultez le site internet de votre fournisseur de carte graphique)
• Lancez le programme d’ installation en tant qu’administrateur. (Clic droit sur
l’exécutable d’installation et choisissez “Exécuter en tant qu’administrateur”)
• Installez le jeu en dehors de tout dossier système. Par exemple, l’installation
du jeu dans C: \ GTL \ peut éviter beaucoup de problèmes potentiels.
• Exécutez toujours tous les raccourcis en tant qu’administrateur. (Faites un
clic droit sur ceux-ci, et choisissez “Exécuter en tant qu’administrateur”)

d’installation sur votre DVD. Double-cliquez pour lancer l’installation et
suivez les instructions sur votre écran.
4.L’installation terminée, l’outil de configuration démarrera.
5.Sélectionnez votre résolution d’écran ainsi que les paramètres de jeu de
votre choix et validez.
6.Lancez le jeu.

GT Legends non è stato originariamente realizzato per l’utilizzo con Windows Vista o Windows 7, ma basta seguire queste semplici linee guida per
procedere con l’installazione, ed avere comunque una bellissima esperienza
di gioco anche su questi sistemi operativi.
• Assicurati che la tua versione di DirectX è aggiornata. (Consulta la tua versione qui: http://www.gamesforwindows.com/en-US/directx/)
• Assicurati che i driver della scheda grafica siano aggiornati. (Visita il sito
del fornitore della tua scheda grafica)
• Installa il gioco avviando il programma di installazione come amministratore. (Premi con il tasto destro del mouse l’icona Setup e seleziona “Esegui
come amministratore”)
• Installa il gioco all’esterno di qualsiasi cartella di sistema. Per esempio, l’installazione del gioco in C: \ GTL \ può prevenire tantissimi potenziali problemi.
• Esegui sempre tutte le scorciatoie come amministratore. (Premi ognuna con
il tasto destro del mouse e seleziona “Esegui come amministratore”)
• Può aiutare a eseguire il gioco .exe in modalità di compatibilità Windows
XP SP2 o SP3. (Premi il tasto destro del mouse sul collegamento del gioco,
