In the design of the PC board, the f ollowing out put s are provided: one 0/4-20 mA; one
impulsive output programmable w ith intelligent w idth pulses; tw o relays for monitoring,
dosages, regulations PID, alarms; Serial Port RS485 or RS232; f unction of electrodes
cleaning.
Also t wo other programmable digit al input are present f or reset totalization, stop totalization,
block output, autozero, start and stop f or dosages.
The power feeding requirements are the f ollowing: from 20 to 55 Vdc and 17 to 45 Vac w ith
50/60 f requency of Hz (24V version), from 90 to 250 V ac w ith 50/60 f requency of Hz
(110/220V version).

Variable area flowmeters for gases and liquids are
conceiv ed to grant v ersatility , so that they can
meet the requirements of Chemical,
Petrolchemical and Pharmaceutical industry . They
can also be used in Water Treatment applications,
Food Industry as well as Research Laboratories
and Process Analy sis. Their main features are flow
range 1-10 and flow rate from 1 nl/h to 1.000
nm3/h for air (at atmospheric operating
conditions, T=20°C and P= 1013 mbar abs) and
from 0.05 l/h to 43 m3/h for water, depending on
the models. Reading scale can be either engrav ed
directly on measuring tube (py rex glass) or on the
nameplate (metal or plastic label) positioned
beside the measuring tube.

Pre sale assistance
Thanks to its staff of technicians and traders, ASA offers telephone attendance to
its ow n customers for the definition of the most suitable instrumentation that fit
to the requirements of installation and process of the customer. When the
product requires customized constructive details, ASA provides opportune
technical documents (dimensio nal drawings, 3D drawings, rendering of product)
in order to identify the best solution for the application of the customer.

Assistance and post sale service
ASA offers to its ow n customers start-up assistance and repair and/or
substitution of the equipment on the site of installatio n. This allow s the customer
to resolve in short times and w ith elevated efficiency and professionalism its
problems of start-up, installation and maintenance of the equipment on field.

Reparation and rendered goods
ASA, thanks to its inner units of calibration and test, offers to its ow n customers a valid and timely answ er for
the Repair of both variable area Asameters and EM meters, that need urgent control check or an extraordinary
maintenance.
Maintenance contracts can be defined for repairs and calibration of instruments (expecially for EM meters) for
such application that required a programmed and periodic calibration and setup check. It can be defined the
w ays and the time for such programmed assistance, by evaluating the type of meter used by the customer and
the customers urgency for on-site assistance or a new flow meter, so to avoid the event of plant stop during the
repair or the recalibration.
4.
ASA proposes customized maintenance contracts
The programmed maintenance contract that ASA offers to its ow n customers has the follow ing advantages:
a) the programs of Calibration of the instrumentation has the purpose to maintain in correct efficiency the
group of instruments covered by contract. The instrument calibration is carried out at ASA Laboratories in
Grumello del Monte. It can be provided a w eekly express currier service, go back and forth to the center of
the Customer, to pick up and deliver the instruments;
b) the possibility to minimize the plant stop due to the repair, by supplying a substitutive equipment of
analogous type and class;

c) repair service on electronic instrumentation belonging to the instrument group
covered by contract within the time defined in the maintenance contract.
d) setup and tuning of flow meters that have out-of-standard performances at our
center in Grumello del Monte.
When defined the above mentioned guide lines, the contract is applied in
agreement to customer need. The purpose is to manage in the best way the
group of instruments and in the meanwhile to provide a qualitatively high
calibration service with quick delivery time.
Conformy certificate
The systems of test and calibration of ASA Testing Dept and Calibration Lab, in agreement w ith UNI EN ISO
9001:2000, allow the company to carry out calibrations according to its inner procedures of calibration and to
emit Conformity Certificate according to UNI EN10012.
The Service is applicable to all the instrumentation produced and traded by ASA but also to those customers
w ho have necessity to check instrumentation produced or commercialized from other companies on request.
The experience and the competence acquired during these years, make ASA skilful to supply express
calibration services, reliable and addressed to the real requirements of the customer at competitive prices.

Calibration certificates
ASA Srl is in compliance w ith requirement of Quality System ISO 9001:2000 and is certified ISO 9001:2000.
The systems of test and calibration of ASA Testing Dept and Calibration Lab are in agreement to ISO
9001:2000 and to norm UNI EN ISO 10012.
ASA carries out calibrations according to its inner procedures of calibration and instruments are certified by
using devices that have a traceable accuracy referenced to NMI or SIT.
The Calibration Service is applicable to all the instrumentation produced and traded by ASA but also to those
customers w ho have necessity to check instrumentation produced or commercialized from other companies on
request.

calibration services, reliable and addressed to the real requirements of the customer at competitive prices.

Test report
For all Asameters in catalogue produced by ASA or also for flow meters by other constructors w here it is not
demanded a calibration but a simple Test Report, ASA can supply in short times such test report, that certifies
the correct w orking of the tested instrument in test, according to inner procedures w ith NMI or SIT traceability.
