I obtained the scientific high school leaving certificate in G.D. Cassini Lyceum, during the school year 19771978, in Genoa.

On the 12 April 1989, in Genoa, I graduated with first class honours in medicine exposing my degree
experimental thesis which was entitled: “Lo sviluppo relativo della componente epiteliale in polipi adenomatosi
dell’intestino crasso. Studio morfometrico ed allometrico su polipi singoli della poliposi multipla familiare”
(involving the epithelial growth observed in large bowel polyps), with Prof. D. Buffa as referee

On the 19 October 1993 I specialized as Pathologist with first class honours, discussing my thesis that was
entitled: “Gastrite cronica associata ad Helicobacter Pylori: alterazioni degenerative epiteliali e modalità di
colonizzazione della mucosa gastrica” (on Helicobacter Pylori associated chronic gastritis), with Prof. A. Badini
as referee.
ESPERIENZA LAVORATIVA

Starting from the 10 of June 1991 worked in the “U.S.L. 1” in Imperia, as full-time Pathologist, and

according to the laws n. 321 (17 .03.95), “D.LGS. n.502/92 art. 18 punto 2 bis” I became a 1 level one.

On the 1 of August 1998, according to the CCNL Art. 51 and following ones, I got a C3 level and thus I
have been involved in skin and gastro-intestinal pathology.

From 16 January 2001 to 31 October 2004 I have worked in “San Martino”, Pathological Anatomy
Department Hospital, as Pathologist Assistant to Mr. M. Canepa and J.L. Ravetti, the head physician of the
department.

I got hired on the 1 November 2004 by “Giannina Gaslini ” Scientific Institute, Pathological Anatomy
Department, as Pathologist Assistant to Mr. C. Gambini, the head physician of the department.
