DESCRIZIONE
I sistemi cito telefonici AA-504 e AA-540 vengono forniti con inserti in ABS, tipicamente di colore nero. Gli
inserti montati sul sistema sono quattro. Due sono montati sul lato superiore, uno sul pannello frontale del
sistema e uno sul pannello posteriore. Altri due sono presenti allo stesso modo nella parte inferiore del
sistema. Tema rende disponibili dei kit di sostituzione di questi inserti per la massima personalizzazione
dell’estetica del sistema, questi kit si chiamano AA-509 ed esistono in vari colori. Se avete già acquistato il
sistema o volete comunque cambiare il colore degli inserti con cui esce di fabbrica sarà quindi sufficiente
acquistare a parte o insieme al nuovo sistema uno di questi kit di personalizzazione, del colore desiderato,
fra quelli proposti da Tema. Gli elementi che possono essere montati sul pannello frontale sono due. In
basso vene sempre montato il particolare colorato “smussato” (con taglio ad angolo di 45°). Sulla somm ità
del frontalino in alluminio è possibile invece scegliere fra due diversi modelli di inserto colorato. Uno è
ancora il tipo “smussato”, l’altro è invece il modello “sporgente” rispetto al frontale in alluminio, quasi a
realizzare, una volta montato, una mini tettoia di protezione o riparo. Tutti gli inserti che si possono
applicare al frontale in alluminio sono avvitati dall’interno del sistema mentre quelli sulla scocca posteriore
sono a semplice inserimento ed incastro. A seguire viene descritto come sostituire tali inserti colorati per
personalizzare il proprio sistema.
DESCRIPTION
The doorphones AA-504 and AA-540 are supplied with ABS inserts, typically black in color. The inserts
mounted on the system are four. Two are mounted on the top side, one on the front panel of the system
and one on the rear panel. The other two are mounted in the same way in the lower part of the system.
TEMA makes available kits to replace these inserts for maximum customization of the systems, these kits
are called AA-509 and come in various colors. If you have already purchased the system or however you
want to change the inserts color to any unit, then you will need to buy separately or together with the new
system one of these kits for customization, the desired color among those TEMA propose. The elements
that can be mounted on the front panel are two. In the bottom is always mounted the particular with cutting
shape angle of 45°. On the top of the aluminum fron t panel, it is possible to choose between two different
shapes. An "extruded" top cover (almost to realize, once assembled, a mini-rain-shield protection) or the
same as bottom the shape angle of 45°. All the inse rts that can be applied to the aluminum front are
screwed from the inside of the system while those on the rear shell are simply fitted in. Following describes
how to replace these colored inserts to customize your system.

PERSONALIZZAZIONE DI UN SISTEMA
Apertura del sistema da personalizzare
Prendere il sistema a cui si desidera sostituire gli inserti e appoggiarlo su di un tavolo.
Aprirlo utilizzando la chiavetta fornita a corredo agendo sulle due viti frontali ad impronta speciale.
Separare il frontale del sistema dal guscio posteriore. Riferirsi all’immagine 1 e 2 alla pagina seguente.
Prendere la busta del kit con i nuovi inserti da applicare al sistema (immagine 3).
Pannello frontale con la scheda, parte inferiore
Con un cacciavite a impronta a croce della dimensione opportuna svitare le due viti presenti all’interno del
frontale (una a destra ed una a sinistra) che fissano l’inserto colorato da rimuovere (immagini 4, 5, 6).
Rimosse le viti di fissaggio, sfilare dal frontale l’inserto facendolo scivolare verso l’esterno.
Riapplicare lo stesso tipo di inserto smussato del colore desiderato preso dal nuovo kit colore.
Inserire nelle guide del pannello frontale le punte plastiche del particolare che si sta montando in
sostituzione, fissarlo al frontale riutilizzando le viti precedentemente rimosse (immagini 7, 8).
Avvitare fino al completo serraggio della vite ma senza applicare una forza eccessiva, quando la vite è
stretta non serve serrarla esageratamente, il nuovo particolare plastico resterà in sede comunque.
Le immagini 5, 6, 7, 8 e 9 mostrano per chiarezza il retro del pannello senza la scheda montata. Non è
comunque necessario smontare la scheda elettronica dal pannello, la quale non deve mai essere rimossa.
Pannello frontale con la scheda, parte superiore
Svitare le due viti e rimuovere anche il particolare del frontale posto sul lato superiore del pannello.
Rimontare come è stato fatto per il particolare superiore il nuovo inserto colorato (immagine 12).
Riapplicare lo stesso tipo di inserto smussato del colore desiderato preso dal nuovo kit colore, oppure
montare l’altro tipo, quello sporgente (immagini 10, 11, 12).
Pannello metallico posteriore, schienale
Prendere ora il pannello metallico posteriore, lo schienale del sistema ed appoggiarlo al tavolo in modo che
resti visibile il fondo del sistema e non il suo lato interno.
Noterete diverse asole nel pannello metallico del fondo. Quattro più grandi e ovali sono per le viti di
fissaggio e risultano vuote. Altre quattro, più piccole e rettangolari presentano una specie di dente
agganciato ad innesto nello spazio dell’asola stessa.
Considerando ora solo il lato superiore o quello inferiore, le asole da considerare sono due. Agire con un
attrezzo (ad esempio un cacciavite) spingendo dall’esterno verso l’interno del pannello prima uno e poi
l’altro dente di fissaggio per sganciarli e contemporaneamente facendo forza per far scivolare il particolare
plastico verso l’esterno del pannello di alluminio fuori dalle sue sedi (immagini 13 e 14).
Schienale, parte superiore
Prendere dal kit il giusto particolare plastico che nel caso del lato superiore del sistema è quello che
presenta tutta la sua superficie liscia e piana (immagine 17). Farlo scivolare nelle sedi ai lati del pannello e
spingerlo con decisione fino a che i suoi denti di tenuta si bloccheranno nelle asole sul pannello e l’inserto
sia correttamente posizionato nella sua sede (immagini 15 e 16).
Schienale, parte inferiore
Per il lato inferiore del pannello posteriore, montare allo stesso modo il particolare plastico rimanente che
sarà appunto quello con impresse sul lato esterno le due impronte ad arco ed il forellino (immagine 18).
Richiusura del sistema una volta personalizzato
Riappoggiare delicatamente il pannello frontale con la scheda facendolo calzare sul fondo metallico e
reintrodurre ed avvitare le due viti frontali ad impronta speciale per chiudere il sistema.
Valutate in questa fase se volete già applicare la guarnizione adesiva (immagine 19) fornita a corredo con
ogni kit colorato, centrandola bene e facendola aderire sull’esterno dello schienale del sistema da voi
appena personalizzato oppure volete rimandare questa operazione al momento in cui fisserete il dispositivo
a parete.

HOW TO PERSONALIZE YOUR UNIT
Opening the system to be customized
Take the system to which you want to replace the inserts and place it on a table.
Open it using the supplied key operating on the two special front screws.
Separate the front of the system from the rear shell. Refer to image 1 and 2 on the previous page.
Take the bag of kit with the new inserts that must be applied to the system (image 3).
Front panel with the card, the bottom
With a Phillips screwdriver of the appropriate size unscrew the two screws in the inner of the front (one right
and one left) securing the colored insert to remove (images 4, 5, 6).
Removed the screws, remove the insert from the front by sliding it outward.
Reapply the same type of insert of the desired color taken from the new kit color.
Insert into the guides of the front panel the plastic tips of the detail that you are mounting in place, secure it
to the front using the previously removed screws (pictures 7, 8).
Fully tighten the screw without applying excessive force when the screw is tightened (the new plastic will
remain in place anyway). Images 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 shows for better explain the back of the panel without the
PCB card mounted. However it is not necessary to remove the PCB from the panel, which absolutely must
never be removed.
Front panel with the card, the top
Unscrew the two screws and remove the top plastic from the front on the upper side of the panel. Replace
as it was done for the bottom of the panel with the new you choosed (image 12). Reapply the same type of
insert of the desired color taken from the new kit color, or mount the other type, the extruded one (images
10, 11, 12).
Metal panel back
Take now the rear metal panel, the back of the system and set it on the table so that it remains visible the
back of the system and not its inner side.
You will see several holes in the bottom of the metal panel. Four larger and oval are for the fixing screws
and are empty.
Others four smaller rectangular holes have a kind of tooth hooked to graft into the space of the slot itself.
Considering now only the upper side or the lower one, holes to be considered are two. Acting with a tool
(e.g. a screwdriver) and gently pushing from the outside towards the inside of the panel, the first one and
then the other tooth fasteners for unhooking them, meanwhile making force to slide the particular plastic to
the outside of the aluminum panel, outside its seat (images 13, 14, 15, 16).
Back, upper side
Take from the kit the right plastic particular to insert. For the upper side of the system is the one with the flat
top surface (the one without two arc fingerprints imprinted, image 17).
Slide it in the seats on the sides of the panel and push it firmly until his teeth will lock into the holes on the
panel and the insert is properly positioned in its seat.
Back, bottom side
For the lower side of the rear panel, mount in the same way the remaining plastic particular that has the two
imprinted fingerprint arc and the small hole for the microphone (image 18).
Closing the unit once customized
Carefully replace the front panel with the card making it fit on the bottom metal and reintroduce and tighten
the two special screws on the front to close the system.
Evaluate if you want to apply the back side adhesive seal (image 19) supplied with each color kit on to the
back of the system now or otherwise you prefere to place that adhesive seal only before to fix the system to
the wall.
