Xacus quest’anno compie 60 anni.
L’azienda, fondata nel 1956, ha attraversato oltre mezzo
secolo di storia italiana, in costante e solida evoluzione.
Sei decadi che Xacus festeggia con un omaggio alle radici,
alla passione, all’impegno di tutti coloro che hanno contribuito
al successo del brand.
Molti i progetti speciali lanciati per l’occasione:
A SHIRT A STAR: Xacus in collaborazione con L’Uomo Vogue
e GQ Italia per un esclusivo progetto fotografico e video
Gli attori italiani Giorgio Pasotti, Antonio Folletto e Simona
Tabasco sono i protagonisti del progetto fotografico ‘A Shirt
A Star’ dove indossano le nostre camicie: dall’intramontabile
camicia bianca, all’impalpabile lino,
alle righe e ai quadri di tendenza. Le foto, scattate da Lorenzo
Bringheli, sono diventate una mostra esposta a Palazzo Budini
Gattai a Firenze e inaugurata con un Cocktail Party il 14 giugno
2016. Il servizio fotografico lo trovate nel n. di Luglio de L’Uomo
Vogue e di GQ. Il progetto A Shirt A Star è anche un film:
“la camicia” diventa simbolo di un’ epoca ed espressione
del carattere di chi la indossa attraverso un esclusivo video
ispirato alla storia del grande cinema dove tutte le generazioni
si riconoscono con emozione. La costumista Nicoletta Ercole
- che ha firmato molti film italiani ed internazionali – ha
selezionato dai preziosi archivi dell’Istituto Luce di Cinecittà,
in collaborazione con il prestigioso Gruppo Conde Nast, alcuni
momenti di grandi film italiani per noi. Il filmato è disponibile

Xacus this year celebrates its 60th anniversary.
The company, founded in 1956, has gone through more than
half a century of Italian history, in constant and solid evolutio.
Six decades that Xacus celebrates with a tribute to the
its roots, passion and commitment of all those who
contributed to the success of the brand.
Many special projects have been launched for the occasion:
A SHIRT STAR: Xacus in cooperation with L’Uomo Vogue
and GQ Italy for an exclusive photographic project and
video Italians actors Giorgio Pasotti, Antonio Folletto and Simona
Tabasco are the protagonists of the photographic project
‘A Shirt A Star’ wearing our shirts: the timeless white shirt,
the impalpable linen and the trendy stripes and checks.
The photos, taken by Lorenzo Bringheli, have become an
exhibition on display at Palazzo Budini Gattai in Florence
inagurated with a Cocktail Party on June 14th, 2016.
The photo shoot is published on L’Uomo Vogue and GQ Italy,
July issue. The project A Shirt A Star is also a film: “the shirt”
becomes a symbol of an era and expression of the character
of the person who wears it, through an exclusive video inspired
by the history of great cinema.
Costume designer Nicoletta Ercole - who signed many Italian
and international films - selected from the precious archives
of Istituto Luce Cinecittà, in collaboration with the prestigious
Group Conde Nast, some moments of great Italian films for us.
The movie is available on www.xacus.com as well as on Facebook
and Instagram.

Il 14 giugno, nella splendida cornice di Palazzo Budini Gattai
a Firenze, tanti ospiti illustri al fianco di Giorgio e Paolo Xoccato:
gli attori Giorgio Pasotti, Antonio Folletto e Simona Tabasco
protagonisti di una mostra fotografica sulla nostra camicia,
la costumista Nicoletta Ercole la cui esperienza a servizio di
questo progetto è stata posta per selezionare alcuni momenti
di film italiani, indissolubilmente legati a una camicia e alle sei
decadi di storia di Xacus per un corto in collaborazione con
l’Istituto Luce di Cinecittà, Emanuele Farneti direttore di GQ
Italia, Alan Prada vice-direttore de L’Uomo Vogue, l’architetto
Claudio Nardi, il modello e attore Sergio Muniz, Robert
Rabensteiner stylist e fashion editor de L’Uomo Vogue, Andrea
Tenerani creative e style director di GQ, Raffaello Napoleone AD
di Pitti Immagine, la PR Moreschina Fabbricotti, Cristina Giachi

On June 14th, in the splendid setting of Palazzo Budini Gattai
in Florence, many distinguished guests alongside Giorgio and
Paolo Xoccato: italian actors Giorgio Pasotti, Antonio Folletto
and Simona Tabasco protagonists of a photographic exhibition
with our shirt, costume designer Nicoletta Ercole whose a
service experience of this project has been taken to select a few
moments of Italian films, inextricably linked to a shirt and to six
decades of Xacus history Xacus for a film in collaboration with
Istituto Luce Cinecittà, Emanuele Farneti director of GQ Italy,
Alan Prada vice-director of L’Uomo Vogue, architect Claudio
Nardi, model and actor Sergio Muniz, Robert Rabensteiner stylist
and fashion editor of L’Uomo Vogue, Andrea Tenerani creative
and style director of GQ, Raffaello Napoleone Pitti Immagine CEO,

Gli archivi di Istituto Luce sono stati aperti per la costumista
Nicoletta Ercole, che ha firmato molti film italiani ed
internazionali e la cui esperienza a servizio di questo progetto
è stata posta per selezionare alcuni momenti di film italiani,
indissolubilmente legati a una camicia e alle sei decadi di storia
di Xacus. Da Giancarlo Giannini passando per Marlon Brando,
Vittorio De Sica, Marcello Mastroianni, Stefano Accorsi, Raoul
Bova: alcune grandi icone del cinema a rappresentare la bellezza
della camicia nel cinema.

Istituto Luce archives were opened for the costumer Nicoletta
Ercole, who signed many Italian and international films and made
their experience available for choosing and re-editing excerpts
from Italian films that are tied to a shirt and to the six decades
of Xacus. From Giancarlo Giannini through Marlon Brando,
Vittorio De Sica, Marcello Mastroianni, Stefano Accorsi,
Raoul Bova: some great icons of italian cinema to represent
the beauty of shirt.
