Milano celebrates its 30th
anniversary: established
in 1985, it has become the
leader in the retail distribution
industry supporting small
business and new ideas. It
hosted the biggest Italian retail
chains when they were at the
very beginning of their bright
future.
More than 2,500 companies
exposed their idea of business
at the Salone and more than
600,000 visitors spread their
network of contacts.
Salone Franchising Milano
has made the history of the
franchise in Italy: in 1985 the
franchising system was at the
early stages of its growth and
it was trying to go on a global
scale; nowadays the strategy
is reversing, global franchisors
always strive to enhance
the local values trying to
differentiate their brand.
The franchising network has
become truly complex and
sophisticated: performance
measurement, logistics,
marketing plan off and
on-line, brand awareness
strategy, technology, control
and development of the
KPI are fundamental for the

Salone Franchising Milano has
a solid background: it is one of
the three most important trade
shows in the world within the
retail industry and the first
exhibition in Italy. It offers

anniversary hosting the
trade show in a new venue:
Rho Fiera Milano. Salone
