and 27th October 2012 in Caorle (Venice) Sport Hall
“V.Vicentini”.
Our goal is to give the possibility to the best european and world competitors to
compare their before the World Championships on 2012.
In the last edition of our tournament there were 1350 competitors in the big and
comfortable Sport Hall of the nice village of Caorle with a great success!
We hope that you will divulge the information of our tournament to all Clubs
of your Federation and I’m at your disposal for every your necessity.

PROGRAM & CATEGORIES
The tournament is open to everybody but all competitors
must be WKF members.
There will be no subdivision of graduation.
The check control of the competitors can be effected 1
hour before competition but, preferably, also the day
before the competition at the sport hall.

RULES
We will apply the WKF rules, including the use of
compulsory personal protective equipment.
Only for the juvenile categories (born since 1999 to 2000
Beginner A, born since 1997 to 1998 Beginner
B), will be adopted the Italian Federation rules that you’ll
find on www.venicecupkarate.com.
Kata - Shitei kata will be asked according to WKF Rules
Kumite – The match time could be changed to 2 minutes

Il Torneo è aperto a tutti i tesserati FIJLKAM, Enti di
promozione riconosciuti e membri della WKF.
Non ci saranno divisioni per cintura.
Il controllo degli atleti può essere effettuato un’ora prima
della competizione, ma preferibilmente il giorno prima
della competizione al Palazzetto dello Sport.

REGOLAMENTO
La gara si svolge con regolamento WKF, incluso l’uso di
tutte le protezioni richieste.
Solo nelle categorie giovanili (nati nel 1999 e nel 2000
esordienti A, nati nel 1997 e nel 1998 esordienti B),
verranno adottate le regole della Federazione Italiana.
Kata – Saranno richiesti i kata Shitei (come da regolamento WKF)
Kumite - Il tempo di durata dei combattimenti potrà essere
ridotto a 2 minuti per esigenze organizzative.

Caorle
Caorle is a tourist resort where the sea and shore
meet history and culture. The first local settlement
goes back to the II millennium B.C. (during the Bronze
Age). Caorle continued its history into the Roman era
as a natural port (Portus Reatinum) for the Roman
colony of Julia Concordia. Important archaeological
remains from the Roman age were found: iron
anchors, stone architectural elements, amphorae and
a shipwreck called “Caorle I” (still now at 13 miles
from the coast of the city).
Now the coast of Caorle, Porto S. Margherita and
Duna Verde has 15 kilometres of sandy beach were a
lot of touristic services are available.
But Caorle offers also a beautiful historical centre:
not only the ancient Cathedral and bell tower but
also the traditional fishermen’s port, the calli
(Venetian alleys) and campielli (little squares) across
small and coloured houses, “Scogliera Viva” , a sort of
open-air museum along the seaside promenade
where the blocks of trachyte have been sculptured by
artists from all over the world.
At the end of this walking line is situated the
Madonna dell’Angelo sanctuary, visited by a lot of
faithful every day.
The area offers the chance to discover the lagoon, a
sheer paradise of untouched nature, as Hemingway
described in his novel “Across the River and into the
Trees”, where you can sight many rare bird species.
At the end of the Levante beach, where the lagoon
flows into the sea, you can see the casoni, the typical
old fishermen’s huts.
Caorle
Caorle è una località turistica dove il mare incontra la
storia e la cultura. Il primo insediamento risale al II
millennio dopo cristo, (durante l’età del bronzo).
Caorle è stata poi famosa al tempo dei romani come
porto Naturale (Porto Reatinum), della colonia romana
Julia Concordia. Sono stati trovati reperti archeologici
come ancore di ferro, rocce architettoniche, anfore e un
relitto di una barca ancora oggi presente a 20 kilometri
dalla costa chiamato “Caorle I”.
La costa di Caorle, Duna Verde e Porto S. Margherita è
lunga 15 kilometri di sabbia con tantissime attrezzature
turistiche.
Caorle ha anche un centro storico molto bello: non solo
la cattedrale antica ma anche il porto e alcune piccole
piazze “Calli” (alleati di Venezia) e “Campielli”.
In centro troverete piccole case molto colorate e la
lunga la camminata vicina al mare vi permetterà di
vedere un museo all’aperto la “Scogliera Viva” dove le
rocce sono state scolpite da artisti di tutto il mondo.
Alla fine della camminata si trova la Madonna
dell’angelo un antico santuario.
Caorle inoltre offre la possibilità di scoprire la laguna,
definita da Hemingway “oltre il fiume, tra gli alberi”,
dove si possono vedere anche molto specie di uccelli
rari.
Alla fine della spiaggia di Levante dove la laguna arriva al
mare aperto, si possono infine vedere i Casoni le tipiche
Baracche da pescatori.

Venice

Marco are recognized all over the world.
Architecture, History and Music but Venice is more,
the city of Venice is one of the most romantic
destinations in Italy and is known for its network of
canals and its gondolas. The bridges, houses and the
canals itself create a unique atmosphere that tourists
come from all over the world to experience.
