Klogr (pronounced 'K'-'log'-'R') is a recently formed Italian alternative rock/metal band,
fronted by long time artist, Gabriele "Rusty" Rustichelli. Under Rusty's direction, the project
has created a powerful meaning behind the music: a philosophy challenging our modern
culture and how each human sense is used against us in the name of profit. Along side
Gabriele are Nicola Briganti, Todd Allen and Flillipo Di Pietri, all bringing their own style to
the mix, to give the band a unique blend of sounds.
The band formed in May 2010
In June 2011, Klogr began recording for their debut album.
During this time the band released several videos to the internet, introducing the sound of
the band and the recording process, which created a strong buzz around the project and a
solid local following.
November 11th 2011 brought the local release of 'Till You Decay', a powerful 11 track
assault that was well received by the group's fan base.
'Till You Decay' will be released world wide on January 10th 2012, which will be
supported by a USA West Coast tour and several dates in Europe.
ALBUM:
'Till You Decay', can be described as a meeting point for alternative rock and alternative
metal, where the somber and dark sounds blend together a rush of anger and resentment
while still leaving room for melody and reaction.
A journey through what the eyes can see but the mind can not filter.
A journey through what a man can feel but can not accept.
The awareness of not being truly free but subject to the "emotional rules" imposed upon
us.
The society around us controls us, judges us, affect us ...suffocates us.
A psychological massacre, the controlling parties supply fear and anxieties that blurs the
subject, creating something more controllable, more submissive.. till you decay.
Is this the intended nature for man?
The law of Weber-Fechner developed in the second half of 800 AD, and is also known as
the fundamental psychophysical relationship that links the subjective sense of the subject
(S) to the magnitude of a physical stimulus (R) offered by the environment:
S = K log R
'K' represents a constant that depends on the type of stimulus. This is actually the
relationship between sensation and stimululation and is complicated by the fact that not all
the physical stimuli are perceived by the individual. In fact, a stimulus must reach a certain
size to be perceived by a particular sense organ (absolute threshold) and must be quite
different in intensity to be discriminated against by another, similar in size (differential
threshold). However, once captured at the level of sensation, the physical stimulus is
ready to be processed at a cognitive level, through the mechanism of perception.

Capitanata da Gabriele "Rusty" Rustichelli (già producer dello Zeta Factory, cantante dei
SensAzionE e chitarrista in diversi progetti alternative).
Sotto la guida di Rusty, il progetto ha creato un potente significato dietro la musica: la
filosofia di sfidare la nostra cultura moderna visto che ogni senso umano è usato contro di
noi in nome del profitto.
Accanto a Gabriele sono Nicola Briganti, Todd Allen e Flillipo Di Pietri e tutti portando il
proprio stile al mix, per dare alla band un suond unico e personale.
La band si è formata nel maggio 2010
Nel giugno 2011 i Klogr cominciano a registrare per il loro album di debutto.
Durante questo periodo pubblicano diversi video su Internet, introducendo il loro suono e
condividendo il processo di registrazione, tutto questo ha creato un forte ronzio intorno al
progetto e un seguito locale solido.
L’11.11.11 hanno presentato 'Till You Decay' in un club nel Reggiano, un potente assalto
di 11 song che è stato ben accolto dai fan del gruppo.
'Till You Decay' uscirà in tutto il mondo il 10 gennaio 2012, che sarà sostenuto da un tour
in West Coast (USA) e da diverse date le in Europa.
ALBUM:
TILL YOU DECAY può essere descritto come “un disco tra l’alternative rock e l’alternative
metal dove sonorità più cupe e scure si miscelano a rush di rabbia e rancore lasciando
comunque spazio a melodia e necessità di reagire”.
Un viaggio attraverso quello che gli occhi possono vedere ma la mente non riesce a
filtrare.
Un viaggio attraverso quello che un uomo può sentire ma non riesce ad accettare. La
consapevolezza di non essere davvero liberi ma soggetti alle “regole emozionali” imposte.
La società che ci circonda ci controlla, ci giudica, ci condiziona…ci soffoca.
Un gioco al massacro psicologico, al controllo della massa, all’alimentazione di paure e
ansie che rendono più labile il soggetto, più controllabile, più sottomesso…fino al
decadimento.
Perché questa non è la natura dell’uomo.
La legge di Weber-Fechner, sviluppata nella seconda metà dell'800, e detta anche
relazione psicofisica fondamentale lega la sensazione soggettiva del soggetto (S) alla
grandezza dello stimolo fisico (R) offerto dall'ambiente:
S = K log R
K è una costante che dipende dal tipo di stimolo. Questa é In realtà la relazione tra la
sensazione e lo stimolo è complicata dal fatto che non tutti gli stimoli fisici vengono
percepiti dall'individuo. Uno stimolo deve infatti raggiungere una determinata grandezza
per essere percepito da un determinato organo di senso (soglia assoluta) e deve essere
abbastanza diverso in intensità per poter essere discriminato da un altro, simile per
grandezza (soglia differenziale). Ad ogni modo, una volta catturato a livello di sensazione,
lo stimolo fisico è pronto per essere elaborato a livello cognitivo, attraverso il meccanismo
della percezione.
