e Bal de la Rose" is the event
that every year takes place in
Montecarlo during springtime. It’s a gala that began in 1954 that has been
promoted by Princess Grace in order to
collect money in favour of her foundation. The Foundation of the princess
today supports 40 French paediatric hospitals and finances laboratories of
scientific research; it contributes to the
distribute scholarships to young people
loving lyrics and dance music. The
Foundation financed last year about
500 poor families. This year Princess
Carolina has decided that her sons
should take part in the traditional dance: Andrea, Carlotta and Pierre. The
rhythm of the music of Bob Marley and
Jimmy Cleft opened the dance during
the dinner and where their young
friends have joined. A Reggae-chic dance that has seen the participation of
about nine hundred famous guests
such as Botero, Henry Salvador, Spyros
Niarchos and the jeweller Repossi who
has donated a wonderful tourmalin
necklace. Everyone has assisted to the

Monaco al Ballo della Rosa, che ogni anno annuncia l’arrivo
della primavera nel Principato.

e Bal de la Rose” è l’evento che
ogni anno da il via alla stagione
mondana a Montecarlo, un gala che risale al 1954 e di cui la Principessa Grace si fece promotrice per raccogliere
denaro a favore della sua fondazione.
La Fondazione della principessa ad oggi sostiene 40 ospedali pediatrici francesi, sovvenziona laboratori di ricerca
scientifica, contribuisce alla distribuzione di borse di studio ai giovani
amanti della musica lirica e del ballo e
lo scorso anno ha sovvenzionato circa
500 famiglie disagiate. Quest’anno
Sua Altezza Reale la principessa Carolina ha deciso di voltar pagina, e al tradizionale ballo hanno fatto il loro ingresso i giovani figli Andrea, Carlotta e
Pierre, che hanno aperto le danze durante la cena al ritmo di Bob Marley e
Jimmy Cleft, e a loro si sono uniti i loro giovanissimi amici. Un ballo quindi
Reggae-chic, a cui hanno partecipato
quasi novecento illustri ospiti, tra i
quali Botero, Henry Salvador, Spyros
Niarchos e il gioielliere Repossi che ha
donato un meraviglioso collier di tourmalin. Tutti hanno assistito ad un divertente quanto insolito spettacolo per
la solenne Salles des Etoiles dello Sporting di Montecarlo in quanto le danze,
per oltre mezzo secolo, erano state
aperte prima da Grace e Ranieri e in
seguito da Alberto e le sorelle, secondo la rigida etichetta del gala. La vera
rosa della serata è stata la splendida figlia di Carolina e Stefano Casiraghi, la
ventenne Charlotte, bersagliata per
tutta la sera dai flash dei fotografi impazziti.
