Con la presentazione della
“Guida ai luoghi del Benessere”
realizzata grazie al contributo della
Camera di Commercio, nasce anche a
Bologna AICEB, l’Associazione
Italiana Centri Benessere aderente
alla Confesercenti.
Negli ultimi anni si è diffusa anche
fra i cittadini bolognesi e ospiti per
affari e turismo, la ricerca di un sempre maggiore benessere, una attenzione al proprio corpo, in chiave sia
curativa che estetica.
Per soddisfare queste esigenze sono
nati e si sono diffusi a ritmi incessanti
anche a Bologna i cosiddetti “luoghi
del benessere”, centri estetici, palestre, centri per trattamenti di medicina naturale, centri fitness e wellness,
che hanno ormai raggiunto il numero
di oltre 2000 imprese in Emilia
Romagna.
AICEB Bologna vuole rappresentare e
sostenere le imprese del settore, sia
in termini di risposta alla esigenze
quotidiane di queste attività, sia nella
prospettiva di una sempre maggiore
qualificazione del settore, per la
quale l’Associazione ha promosso
una proposta di legge già presentata
al Parlamento da diversi parlamentari
di vari orientamenti politici, che
vuole regolamentare il comparto
oggi alle prese con una serie dei lacune normative, al fine di garantire gli
operatori del settore e gli utenti alla
ricerca di una risposta positiva ai loro
bisogni.

With the presentation of the “Guide
to Wellbeing Centres”, which was
published thanks to the support of
the Chamber of Commerce, the new
association AICEB, the Italian
Association of Wellbeing Centres, has
been created as part of the
Federation of Italian Trade, Tourism
and Services.
Over the past few years, the citizens
of Bologna, as well as visitors for
business and tourism, have been
increasingly interested in wellbeing,
and taking care of their bodies, from
both a therapeutic and a cosmetic
point of view.
In order to satisfy this increasing
demand, many so-called “wellbeing
centres” have been established in
Bologna, whether they be beauty
centres, gyms, alternative medicine
treatment centres, fitness and wellbeing centres. There are now over
2000 such businesses in the region of
Emilia Romagna.
AICEB Bologna aims to represent and
support businesses in the sector, both
in terms of meeting the everyday
needs of these activities, and from
the point of view of increasing quality in the sector. For this reason, the
Association is promoting a bill that
has already been presented in
Parliament by various politicians from
different sides of the political spectrum. The bill aims to regulate the
sector which currently has to deal
with a series of gaps in the regulations, with the aim of guaranteeing
those who work in the sector and
their customers a positive response to
their requirements.

Benessere è sinonimo di qualità della
vita e delle relazioni.
Da questa Guida emerge una grande
varietà di proposte e di possibilità.
Esse sono rivolte a tutti coloro che
riconoscono il valore di uno stile di
vita in cui anche i piccoli piaceri sono
importanti.
Concetti come benessere e qualità
della vita fanno parte della identità
del nostro territorio e ciò si riflette sia
nelle proposte dei Centri benessere,
che nelle sempre più calibrate esigenze di coloro che ad essi si rivolgono.
Questa Guida, alla cui realizzazione
ha contributo la Camera di commercio, nasce allora come un pratico e
facile strumento di orientamento fra
tanti spunti ed idee per passare
momenti piacevoli.
Ma è anche lo specchio della grande
capacità delle imprese bolognesi di
questo settore nel porre sempre una
grande attenzione alle richieste e alle
esigenze dei loro clienti.

Commerce, and offers a practical and

way with lots of tips and ideas for
spending time in an enjoyable and
relaxing way.

Bolognese companies in this sector,
which are paying increasing attention to the requests and demands of
their customers.

four Aromasoul Ritual Massages: the
Oriental ritual massage, inspired by

L’Hammam è un luogo dal sapore
antico dove puoi ritrovare nel rituale
del bagno, nel vapore e nel massaggio, l’armonia perduta. Una volta varcata la soglia dell’Hammam Bleu, il
vostro viaggio inizia nel tepidarium,
angolo magico e raccolto dove il
corpo e l’anima si uniscono in un dolce
tepore sciogliendo le prime tensioni e
preparandovi a ricevere la temperatura della stanza caldo umida calidarium, il cuore del percorso, dove il
vapore riscalda ed accarezza il corpo
permettendogli di liberarsi da impurità, tossine e stress. Alternando bagni
di vapore e docce meraviglia, getti
multipli e acqua nebulizzata sarete
avvolti in un caleidoscopio di sensazioni olfattive e visive mentre la pelle
si prepara al gommage, trattamento
esfoliante, che la renderà particolarmente levigata e luminosa. Momento

Hammam is a place with an antique
flavour where you can regain your
natural balance during the rituals of
bathing, steam and massage.
Once you have entered Hammam
Bleu, your journey begins in the tepidarium, a magical, cosy corner where
body and mind come together in the
sweet warmth of the room, so that
tension melts away and you are prepared for the temperature of the next
room, which is the hot, humid calidarium, the heart of the journey, where
steam warms and embraces the body,
allowing it to free itself of impurities,
toxins and stress. Then steam baths

Due stanze sono il cuore pulsante
dell’Hammam.
Il percorso inizia entrando nel
Tepidarium, dove ci si distende comodamente su lastre di marmo riscaldate e ci si lascia insaponare e massaggiare.
Qui si assapora l’esperienza tutta
orientale del “rito” della saponatura
e del massaggio con il sapone siriano,
marocchino, sali del Mar Morto, peeling con loofa e guanto di lino e
miscele di erbe ayurvediche.

Two rooms form the heart of the
Hammam. The journey begins when
you enter the Tepidarium, where you
can lie comfortable on heated marble
slabs and be lathered and massaged.
Here you can savour the totally
Oriental experience of the “rite” of
lathering and massage with Syrian
soap, Moroccan soap and Dead Sea
salts, as well as peeling with a loofah
and a flax glove, and mixtures of
Ayurvedic herbs. Then you enter the
Calidarium, where the more intense
heat and the steam radiate balsamic
essences which help to relieve stress
and muscular tension. Finally there is
a cold shower in the Frigidarium and
a cup of herbal tea to sip in the relaxation room. In this way you can

We provide face and body treatments
with strictly 100% natural products. Laura
Marzetti has worked as a beautician since
1979. In her small and welcoming wellbeing centre there is no machinery, since all
the work is done manually in order to
remain as natural as possible. There are
products from Dr. Hauschka, a homeopathic line of products for the care of face
and body that follows the teachings of
Steiner, and also Puravida, a Bolognese
company which produces natural organic
products, with technical advice from
Laura. Every treatment is personalised.
Body massages are carried out using Bach
flower remedies, hot stones, and traditional and cosmetic methods. There is a
regenerating oxygenating treatment
with pineapple stalk, as well as compresses with herbs, or with apples from the
Trentino region, clay mud and bandages.
For both men and women, as an ideal
way of loosening muscular tension, we
recommend the steam bath on the “wellness bed”. The beauty centre also offers
traditional beauty treatments, hair removal, manicures, pedicures and nail reconstruction.

Massaggio Watsu (v. anche Watsu) Nato in California è una forma di
shiatsu che nasce dalla combinazione
di pratiche giapponesi e occidentali.
Si svolge in acqua tiepida (34-37 °C),
poco profonda, con il corpo che galleggia dolcemente, abbandonato fra
le braccia del terapeuta che svolge
movimenti lenti sui meridiani che
conducono l’energia vitale. L’integrazione con la natura e con l’ambiente
è anche data dalla collocazione della
piscina, che deve necessariamente
essere “a cielo aperto”. Genera stato
di abbandono e relax assoluto.
Watsu Massage (see also Watsu) –
This is a form of Shiatsu that originates from California, formed by the
combination of Japanese and
Western practices. It takes place in
lukewarm shallow water (34-37 °C),
as the body floats gently in the arms
of the therapist who performs gentle
movements on the meridians which
guide vital energy. Integration with
nature and the environment is also
achieved through the location of the
swimming pool, which must be in the
open air. This treatment guarantees
total relaxation.

Onicofagia – L’atto di mangiarsi le

to the body. Normally it is carried out
on the feet, but also on the hands or

(cabina in legno) con calore secco (60100 °C), usato per aprire i pori ed eliminare le tossine con la sudorazione.

Spinning - attività aerobica di gruppo
su bicicletta stazionaria, “stationary
bike”, è un allenamento aerobico
importato in Europa nel 1995 dagli
Stati Uniti.
Nasce come preparazione in luoghi
chiusi per il ciclismo su strada (indoor
cycling) ed ha una sua evoluzione tecnica grazie al suo inventore Johnny
G., un ciclista americano che ha creato un metodo d’allenamento.
Il metodo ha integrato la tecnica di
pedalata a varie velocità, la tecnica di
concentrazione e coinvolgimento
tipico del training autogeno con l’ausilio di scelte musicali appropriate.
La lezione si svolge in gruppo, sotto la
direzione di un istruttore che impartisce i ritmi di pedalata secondo la velocità della musica utilizzata.
Si cerca di condurre il ciclista attraverso un viaggio virtuale in cui la concen-

trazione e il coinvolgimento portino
la mente a superare la fatica fisica e
ad aumentare così le proprie capacità
organiche.
Le lezioni hanno una durata di un’ora
circa e producono un ottimo allenamento aerobico con un grosso
dispendio calorico.
Spinning – A group aerobic activity
carried out using a stationary exercise
bike. This form of exercise was
imported to Europe from the United
States in 1995. It began as a form of
training for road racing, and then
evolved thanks to its inventor Johnny
G., an American cyclist who created a
training method.
The method involves pedalling at various different speeds, accompanied
by appropriate music. Lessons are carried out in groups, guided by an
instructor who determines the
rhythm of pedalling according to the
speed of the music being used.
Cyclists must try to overcome physical
fatigue by concentrating hard, thereby increasing their fitness levels.
Lessons last for about one hour, and
are excellent for aerobic training,
since they burn a lot of calories.
Stretching – È un esercizio per rendere
armoniche le articolazioni, tendini e
muscoli, per evitare rigidità e calcificazioni e rimanere giovani a lungo.

Thalassotherapy – A technique which
uses various elements from the sea,
such as sea water (heated to 38 °C),
sand, seaweed and mud for external
application and mud, seaweed or seawater baths in a special swimming
pool.
Tepidarium – Ambiente rilassante,
adatto alla reazione dopo la fangoterapia ed all’ambientazione dopo la
grotta, dotato di sdraio e poltrone
riscaldate, in un’atmosfera di gradevoli aromi. Ideale sostegno al rafforzamento del sistema immunitario,
permette una prevenzione generale
ed un’attività rigenerante del corpo.
In questo ambiente si crea artificialmente uno stato febbrile che porta
ad un aumento della metabolizzazione dei grassi eccedenti.

suitable for the reaction after mud
treatments and relaxation after a
cave, with loungers and heated armchairs, in a pleasantly scented atmosphere. It is ideal for boosting the
immune system, and enables general
disease prevention as well as regenerating the body. This atmosphere can
create a raised body temperature
which boosts the metabolism and
therefore burns excess fat.

which is mainly used as a mask, powder or compress for the treatment of
face and body, made from cereal
flour and / or dried pulses (lentils,
chickpeas, rice, etc.) with the addition
of other natural ingredients (plants,
oils, spices). The cereals and dried
pulses are rich in vegetable proteins,
while the spices, plants and oils contain mineral salts, vitamins and essential fatty acids.
