Safety and Quality
Prima di ogni intervento
Before servicing
• Prendere tutte le disposizioni di sicurezza necessarie (per
la protezione delle persone e del materiale) ed attenersi
alle norme di sicurezza in vigore.
• Azionare il freno di stazionamento e immobilizzare la
macchina con dei fermi.
• Arrestare il generatore (motore) del sistema
idraulico e sospendere l'alimentazione elettrica.
• Se necessario, delimitare la zona di sicurezza.
• Pulire la parte esterna dei pezzi per rimuovere
sporco e grasso.
• Attendere il raffreddamento e la completa
depressurizzazione del sistema idraulico (scaricare
gli accumulatori).
Il fluido idraulico caldo o sotto pressione può
provocare gravi ferite ed ustioni con infezioni.
Consultare un medico in caso d'incidente.
• Be extremely careful to prevent personal injury and
to avoid damage to material. Comply with all safety
regulations.
• Apply the parking brake and prevent the machine
from rolling with tire blocks.
• Stop the hydraulic system power source (engine)
and disconnect the battery.
• If necessary, block off the safety area.
• Wash dirt and grease from exterior of the
components.
• Await the complete cooling down and depressurization of
the hydraulic system (accumulators must be purged).

Durante ogni intervento
• Alcuni componenti sono molti pesanti. Assicurarli
tramite un dispositivo di leva di capacità adeguata
quando bisogna spostarli dal telaio della macchina.
• La pulizia é una componente essenziale per il
funzionamento dei pezzi idraulici. La maggior parte
dei pezzi può essere pulita tramite un solvente non
contaminato
• Durante il trasporto su percorsi brevi, proteggere tutte le
superfici suscettibili di danni (centraggi, superfici
reggispinta, sedi dei giunti e dei cuscinetti, ecc...)
• Pulire queste superfici prima di rimontare i pezzi.
• Montare
sempre
giunti
nuovi
eliminando
sistematicamente i giunti sostituiti. E' consigliabile
lubrificare tutti i giunti prima di procedere al
montaggio dei pezzi.
• Lubrificare tutte le superfici sottoposte a movimento
ricoprendole con una pellicola di fluido idraulico non
contaminato,
che
assicurerà
la
perfetta
lubrificazione fin dal primo (ri)avviamento.
• Non riscaldare mai il fluido idraulico, in quanto
potrebbe infiammarsi ad alta temperatura. Lo stesso
dicasi per alcuni solventi. Non fumare durante
l'operazione di montaggio.

Hot or pressurized hydraulic fluid may cause
serious burns & infections to the human
body.
Consult a physician in case of accident.
During servicing
• Some hydraulic components are very heavy.
Secure them with a lifting device of adequate
capacity when removing from the machine frame.
• Cleanliness is essential to functioning of the
hydraulic components. Most of the parts may be
cleaned with a clean solvent.
• During handling, protect all sensitive surfaces from
shocks (piloting and interface surfaces, thrust &
bearings surfaces, seal races, etc...)
• Clean up these surfaces before reassembly.
• Always install new O-rings, seals & gaskets discarding
the old ones. We recommend to lubricate all seals before
assembling.
• Lubricate all surfaces which have relative motion
between parts by coating them with a film of clean
hydraulic fluid to assure lubrication at first start.
• Never heat hydraulic fluid, as it may flame at high
temperature. Some solvents are also flammable.
Do not smoke during servicing.

serbatoio al fine di evitare il travaso di quest’ultimo.
• Disconnettere e chiudere i tubi o i flessibili
collegati sul assale.
• Smontare le viti di fissaggio, quindi rimuovere
l’assale.
• Svuotare il carter.
Removal
• Release the pressure in the supply lines.
Reistallazione
Riprendere le operazioni di rimozione invertendo
l’ordine di esecuzione.

Execute the removal operations in the reverse order.

• Disconnect the drain line at the tank level to
avoid its siphoning.
• Disconnect and plug the pipes or hoses which
are connected to the truck axle.
• Disconnect the mounting screws, and remove
the truck axle.
• Drain the casing.

Connect pressure gauges:
• 0 - 600 bar su ciascuno dei tubi di alimentazione
dell’assale.
• 0 - 600 bar [0 - 8700 PSI] on each of the truck
axle supply lines.
• 0 - 100 bar: sul tubo di pilotaggio di rilascio del
freno.
• 0 - 100 bar [0 - 1450 PSI] on the brake release
pilot line.
Eseguire lo spurgo del freno mediante i tappi (110)
collocati al livello più alto.
Bleed the brake using the plugs (110) located at
the highest level.
Assicurarsi che la pressione di alimentazione del
freno sia a regime zero.
Make sure that the brake supply pressure is zero.
Alimentare l'assale e controllare la pressione alla
quale esso inizia a ruotare facendo variare la
pressione di alimentazione, mediante la valvola di
sicurezza o il regolatore del circuito idraulico.
Supply the truck axle and check the pressure at
which the truck axle starts rotating by means of
supply pressure fluctuations using the safety
valve or the regulator valve of the hydraulic circuit.
La differenza di pressione tra i due rami di
alimentazione dell’assale deve essere superiore o
uguale a 320 bar (cilindrata 2 x 364 cm3). Se non si
raggiunge questo valore, è necessario procedere
alla sostituzione dei supporti accessoriati.
The pressure difference between the two supply
lines of the truck axle must be higher or equal to
320 bar [4640 PSI] (displacement 2 x 364 cm3 [2 x
22.2 cu.in]). Pressure differences below this value
indicate that it is necessary to replace the bearing
support assemblies.
Il limite per la sostituzione dipende dalla pressione
d’utilizzo e dal coefficiente di sicurezza richiesto.
The limit to be observed before replacement
depends on the working pressure and the required
factor of safety.
