The Circuit Dijon-Prenois was one of the fist race circuits to opt for the new FIA
debris fence. Geobrugg was commissioned to plan and construct a debris fence
408 m long and 2.5 m high.
Descrizione
Two sections of the debris fence were planned:
- Marshal-Point 7 with a length of 184 m
- Marshal-Point 8 with a length of 224 m
Before construction started, the plans were submitted to the FIA and FFSA for
approval, which was granted immediately. Installation took place toward the end
of the winter break, with only six weeks needed for construction.
