Please read these operating instructions carefully before installing or operating this equipment.
• Do not operate the pump outdoors in the rain or use near flames.
• Never operate the unit in close proximity to or pump combustible materials/liquids or vapors with these units.
• The unit must be electrically grounded to a three wire electrical outlet or receptacle. The electrical service provided
must be a dedicated line of the proper size according to local electrical codes.
• Unit must be placed in a position that allows the power cord to be easily disconnected from the wall or inlet socket.
• The motor is thermally protected and can automatically restart when the protector resets. ALWAYS disconnect power
source before servicing.
• If your pump is equipped with plastic plugs in the exhaust and/or intake ports, remove before starting the unit.
• Do not attempt to maintain the unit until you have read and understand this operation manual.
• Do not, at any time, lubricate any of the parts with oil, grease, or petroleum products nor clean with acids, caustics or
chlorinated solvents.
• Store pump in original shipping carton with inserts. This will protect pump and keep it clean. It may also prevent
damage due to improper storage.
• If the unit is not operated in the manner as specified in this manual, the protection provided by the unit may be
impaired.

INSTALATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Shipping damage should be reported to the carrier as soon as detected.

UNPACKING:
Save the box and other packing material for future use in transporting the unit.

Open the box.
Carefully lift the unit from the box by lifting on packaging supports. Support unit from the bottom to prevent slipping.
Remove packaging supports.
Remove plastic bag.
INSTALLATION:
1. Locate the pump below the Vacuum furnace. Mounting of the pump above the furnace will cause any water
condensation in the lines to flow back into the furnace.
2. Remove plastic covers from inlet and exhaust ports. Screw in the inlet fitting (tightly to achieve optimum vacuum) and
exhaust muffler before operating the pump. The pump may be damaged if covers are not removed.
3. Install feet and tighten using the provided nuts.
4. The pump should be mounted horizontally.
5. Connect the vacuum line from the furnace to the inlet of the pump.
(a) Force the tubing over the inlet fitting.
6. Connect the pump's power cord into the electrical outlet on the back of your DENTSPLY Prosthetics furnace. This will
allow the furnace to operate the pump when vacuum is called for in a cycle.

MAINTENANCE:
WARNING:
This equipment contains dangerous voltages. Maintenance and repair work should only be performed by an
authorized service technician of DENTSPLY Prosthetics.
To keep the equipment in good working order you should follow the guidelines below.
• Examine the equipment regularly for mechanical damage.
• The pump is maintenance free. No oil lubrication is required.
CLEANING:
• Clean the unit at least once a week.
• Clean exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth using a mild detergent and water.
• DO NOT IMMERSE IN WATER!

TROUBLESHOOTING:
Service of this equipment should be done only by qualified personnel. Failure to comply may result in personnel injury
and/or property damage.
FACTORS AFFECTING VACUUM PUMP PERFORMANCE
Your vacuum pump is capable of pulling a vacuum of 740mm Hg (29") at sea level. For each 300 meters (1000') of
elevation the pump's maximum vacuum level is reduced by 25mm Hg (1"). Thus, if the pump is operated in an area 300
meters (1000') above sea level the maximum obtainable output would be 715mm Hg (28").
Another way to look at the vacuum level is by using the barometric pressure at your location. Your vacuum pump will
pull a vacuum that is about 20mm Hg (1.0") less than the barometric pressure on any given day. If the barometer
reading in your area is 750mm Hg (29.5") you may expect a maximum vacuum pump output of 730mm Hg (28.5").
The barometric pressure varies daily.

This equipment is designed with safety features to protect the operator and must not be modified in any form. Only
qualified individuals should repair this piece of equipment. Failure to observe these precautions may result in burns or
electrical shock.
Three methods of product service are available:
• Telephone assistance available at the number listed below,
• Return the unit for servicing using the instructions below,
• Call DENTSPLY at the phone number below and obtain a service manual for a nominal fee.

• Call DENTSPLY for an PR (Product Return) number. This is used to track and identify your unit. Equipment received
without this number may not be identifiable.
• Equipment damaged in shipment as a result of improper packing may not be paid by the carrier.
DENTSPLY will not be responsible for damages resulting from improper packing.

WARRANTY:
WARRANTY: Except with respect to those components parts and uses which are hereinafter described, DENTSPLY
Prosthetics warrants this furnace to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of two years from
the date of sale. DENTSPLY Prosthetics’s liability under this warranty is limited solely to repairing or, at DENTSPLY
Prosthetics’s option, replacing those products included within the warranty which are returned to DENTSPLY
Prosthetics within the applicable warranty period (with shipping charges prepaid), and which are determined by
DENTSPLY Prosthetics to be defective. This warranty shall not apply to any product which has been subject to
misuse; negligence; or accident; or misapplied; or modified; or repaired by unauthorized persons; or improperly
installed.
INSPECTION: Buyer shall inspect the product upon receipt. The buyer shall notify DENTSPLY Prosthetics in writing
of any claims of defects in material and workmanship within thirty days after the buyer discovers or should have
discovered the facts upon which such a claim is based. Failure of the buyer to give written notice of such a claim
within this time period shall be deemed to be a waiver of such claim.
DISCLAIMER: The provisions here-in stated DENTSPLY Prosthetics sole obligation and exclude all other remedies or
warranties, expressed or implied, including those related to MERCHANTABILITY and FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Under no circumstances shall DENTSPLY Prosthetics be liable to the buyer for any
incidental, consequential or special damages, losses or expenses.
LIMITATION OF ACTIONS: The buyer must initiate any action with respect to claims under the warranty described
in the first paragraph within one year after the cause of action has accrued.

Prière de lire ces instructions avec attention avant d’installer ou d’utiliser cet appareil.
• Ne pas faire fonctionner la pompe sous la pluie ni à proximité de flammes.
• Ne jamais actionner l’appareil à proximité de matériaux, liquides ou vapeurs combustibles ni l’utiliser pour pomper
ces substances.
• Au niveau électrique, l’appareil doit être mis à la masse sur une prise électrique à trois fils. La distribution d’électricité
doit être assurée par une ligne spécialement affectée, de la taille appropriée, conformément aux codes électriques
locaux en vigueur.
• L’appareil doit être positionné de manière à ce que le cordon d’alimentation soit facilement débranché de la prise
murale ou du connecteur.
• Le moteur est équipé d’une protection thermique et peut redémarrer automatiquement en cas de réinitialisation de la
protection. TOUJOURS déconnecter de la source d’alimentation avant de procéder à l’entretien.
• Si la pompe est équipée de bouchons en plastique sur les orifices d’admission/échappement, les retirer avant de
démarrer l’appareil.
• Ne pas essayer d’assurer l’entretien de l’appareil sans avoir au préalable lu et assimilé ce guide d’utilisation.
• Ne jamais lubrifier les pièces de l’appareil avec de l’huile, de la graisse ou des produits à base de pétrole et ne pas
les nettoyer à l’aide de solvants acides, caustiques ou chlorés.
• Ranger la pompe dans son emballage d’origine avec les notices. La pompe sera ainsi protégée, restera propre et
évitera tout dommage lié à un stockage inapproprié.
• Si l’appareil n’est pas utilisé de la manière stipulée dans le présent guide, il risque de ne fournir qu’une protection
diminuée.

INSTRUCTIONS D’INSTALLATION:
Les dommages dus au transport doivent être signalés au transporteur dès qu’ils sont décelés.
Le carton d’emballage de l’appareil contient :

DEBALLAGE :
Conserver le carton et les autres matériaux d’emballage pour pouvoir transporter l’appareil ultérieurement.
• Ouvrir le carton.
• Soulever l’appareil avec précaution hors du carton en le plaçant sur les supports d’emballage. Soutenir l’appareil à la
base pour l’empêcher de glisser.
• Retirer les supports d’emballage.
• Retirer le sac en plastique.
INSTALLATION :
1. Placer la pompe sous le four à vide. L’installation de la pompe au-dessus du four provoque le retour dans celui-ci de
la condensation d’eau éventuellement présente dans les conduits.
2. Retirer les bouchons en plastique des orifices d’admission et d’échappement. Serrer l’adaptateur d’admission
(fermement pour obtenir un vide optimal) et le silencieux d’échappement avant d’actionner la pompe. La pompe peut
être endommagée si les bouchons ne sont pas retirés.
3. Installer les pieds et les serrer avec les écrous fournis.
4. La pompe doit être montée à l’horizontale.
5. Connecter la ligne de vide du four à l’arrivée de la pompe.
(a) Insérer la tubulure en force sur l’adaptateur d’admission.
6. Raccorder le cordon d’alimentation de la pompe dans la prise électrique située à l’arrière du four DENTSPLY
Prosthetics. Il permet au four d’actionner la pompe lorsqu’une phase de vide est nécessaire durant un cycle.

AVERTISSEMENT :
Ne pas utiliser de cordon de rallonge avec cet appareil.
Brancher le cordon d’alimentation sur un circuit avec un courant nominal minimum de 15 A.

ENTRETIEN:
AVERTISSEMENT :
Cet appareil présente des tensions électriques dangereuses. L’entretien et les réparations doivent être effectués
uniquement par un technicien agréé de DENTSPLY Prosthetics.
Pour conserver l’appareil en bon état de marche, respecter les consignes suivantes :
• Examiner l’appareil régulièrement à la recherche de dommages mécaniques.
• La pompe ne nécessite aucun entretien. Aucune lubrification par huile n’est nécessaire.
NETTOYAGE :
• Nettoyer l’appareil au moins une fois par semaine.
• Nettoyer les surfaces extérieures avec un chiffon doux et humide et une solution aqueuse
• NE PAS IMMERGER DANS L’EAU !

DEPANNAGE RAPIDE:
L’entretien de cet appareil doit être effectué uniquement par un personnel qualifié sous risque de blesser les opérateurs
et/ou d’endommager l’appareil.
FACTEURS AFFECTANT LES PERFORMANCES DE LA POMPE A VIDE
La pompe à vide peut créer un vide de 740 mm Hg (29 po Hg) au niveau de la mer. Pour chaque élévation de 300
mètres (1 000 pieds), le niveau de vide maximum de la pompe diminue de 25 mm Hg (1 po Hg). Ainsi, si la pompe
fonctionne dans une zone située à 300 mètres (1 000 pieds) au-dessus du niveau de la mer, la puissance de sortie
maximale est de 715 mm Hg (28 po Hg).
Pour connaître le niveau de vide, il est également possible d’utiliser la pression barométrique. La pompe à vide crée un
vide inférieur d’environ 20 mm Hg (0,8 po Hg) à la pression barométrique. Si le baromètre indique 750 mm Hg (29,5
po Hg), un vide maximum de 730 mm Hg (28,7 po Hg) peut être escompté à la sortie de la pompe à vide. La pression
barométrique varie tous les jours.

Ce matériel est conçu avec des fonctions de sécurité en vue de protéger l’opérateur et ne doit pas être modifié sous
quelque forme que ce soit. Seuls des individus qualifiés doivent réparer ce matériel. Un non-respect de ces précautions
pourrait entraîner des brûlures ou une électrocution.
Il existe trois méthodes de service après-vente pour les produits :
• Une assistance par téléphone est disponible en appelant le numéro donné ci-dessous.
• Renvoyer l’unité pour réparation et/ou entretien en suivant les instructions ci-dessous.
• Appeler DENTSPLY au numéro suivant et commander un manuel de réparation/entretien pour une somme modique.
AVANT DE RENVOYER L’UNITE :
• Appeler DENTSPLY pour obtenir un numéro PR (dossier produit). Ce numéro sert à suivre et à identifier votre unité.
Tout équipement reçu sans un tel numéro peut ne plus être identifiable.
• Tout équipement endommagé au cours de la réexpédition du fait d’un emballage inadéquat peut ne pas être payé
par le transporteur.
DENTSPLY décline toute responsabilité en matière de dommages résultant d’un emballage inadéquat.

comporte aucun défaut matériel ou de fabrication et ce pour une période de deux ans à compter de la date de
vente. La responsabilité de DENTSPLY Prosthetics dans le cadre de cette garantie se limite uniquement à réparer ou,
si DENTSPLY Prosthetics le souhaite, remplacer les produits inclus dans la garantie qui sont retournés à DENTSPLY
Prosthetics durant la période de garantie applicable (frais d’envoi prépayés), et qui sont déterminés par DENTSPLY
Prosthetics comme étant défectueux. Cette garantie ne peut s’appliquer à aucun produit ayant fait l’objet d’une

découvert, ou aurait dû découvrir, les faits sur lesquels se base la réclamation. Si l’acheteur ne fournit pas une
notification écrite d’une telle réclamation au cours de cette période, cette réclamation sera considérée comme nulle.

SICUREZZA:
SOLO PER USO PROFESSIONALE.
Prima di installare o mettere in funzione l'apparecchiatura leggere con attenzione le istruzioni operative.
• Non utilizzare la pompa all'esterno in caso di pioggia o vicino a fiamme libere.
• Non utilizzare mai la pompa nelle immediate vicinanze di materiali/liquidi combustibili o per pompare quest'ultimi o
i loro vapori.
• L'unità deve essere adeguatamente messa a terra tramite una presa a tre vie. L'alimentazione elettrica deve essere
erogata da una linea dedicata di dimensioni adeguate, in conformità alla normativa elettrica locale.
• L'unità va installata in una posizione tale da permettere agevolmente di staccare il cavo elettrico dalla parete o dalla
presa elettrica.
• Il motore è protetto termicamente e può riavviarsi automaticamente al resettaggio del protettore. Scollegare SEMPRE
l'alimentazione prima di effettuare la manutenzione.
• Se la pompa è dotata di tappi di plastica nelle aperture di ingresso o scarico, questi vanno rimossi prima dell'avviamento dell'unità.
• Non eseguire nessun intervento sull'unità prima di avere letto e compreso bene questo manuale operativo.
• Non lubrificare mai nessun componente con olio, grasso o derivati del petrolio né pulire con acidi, prodotti caustici o
solventi clorurati.
• Conservare la pompa nella scatola originale con gli appositi inserti per proteggerla e mantenerla pulita. In questo
modo si potranno inoltre prevenire i danni dovuti a una conservazione inadeguata.
• Se l'unità non viene messa in funzione nel modo specificato in questo manuale, la protezione fornita dall'unità
potrebbe esserne compromessa.

DISIMBALLAGGIO:
Conservare la scatola e il materiale di imballo per un uso futuro nel trasporto dell'unità.
• Aprire la scatola.
• Sollevare con cura l'unità dalla scatola afferrando i supporti di imballaggio. Sostenere l'unità dal fondo, onde
impedire che scivoli.
• Togliere i supporti di imballaggio.
• Togliere la busta di plastica.
INSTALLAZIONE:
1. Collocare la pompa sotto il forno sotto vuoto. Il montaggio della pompa al di sopra del forno causerà il deflusso di
eventuale acqua di condensazione nelle linee all'interno del forno.
2. Rimuovere le coperture in plastica dalle aperture di ingresso e scarico. Avvitare l'adattatore per l'ingresso
(ermeticamente per ottenere un vuoto ottimale) e il silenziatore per lo scarico prima di mettere in funzione la pompa.
Se le coperture non vengono rimosse, si può danneggiare la pompa.
3. Installare i piedi di supporto e serrarli usando gli appositi dadi.
4. La pompa deve essere montata in posizione orizzontale.
5. Connettere la linea di vuoto proveniente dal forno all'ingresso della pompa.
(a) Inserire con forza la tubazione all'adattatore per l'ingresso.
6. Connettere il cavo di alimentazione della pompa alla presa elettrica presente sul retro del forno DENTSPLY Prosthetics.
Questo consentirà al forno di mettere in funzione la pompa quando è richiesto il vuoto durante un ciclo.

MANUTENZIONE:
AVVERTENZA:
In questa apparecchiatura vengono erogate tensioni pericolose. Le operazioni di manutenzione e di riparazione
vanno effettuate esclusivamente da un tecnico dell'assistenza autorizzato di DENTSPLY Prosthetics.
Per mantenere l'unità in buone condizioni operative, attenersi alle seguenti indicazioni.
• Visionare regolarmente l'attrezzatura per rilevare l'eventuale presenza di danni meccanici.
• La pompa non richiede manutenzione. Non è richiesta alcuna lubrificazione con olio.
PULIZIA:
• Pulire l'unità almeno una volta la settimana.
• Pulire le superfici esterne con un panno morbido, inumidito in un detersivo delicato e acqua.
• NON IMMERGERE IN ACQUA!

Gli interventi di assistenza a questa unità possono essere effettuati esclusivamente da personale qualificato. In caso
contrario si potranno verificare lesioni alle persone e/o danni alla proprietà.
FATTORI CHE INFLUENZANO LE PRESTAZIONI DELLA POMPA DEL VUOTO
La pompa del vuoto è in grado di generare un vuoto di 740 mm Hg (29 poll.) a livello del mare. Ogni 300 metri (1000
piedi) di altitudine il livello di vuoto massimo si riduce di 25 mm Hg (1 poll.). Quindi, se la pompa viene messa in
funzione a 300 metri (1000 piedi) sopra il livello del mare, il massimo livello di vuoto che si ottiene è di 715 mm Hg
(28 poll).
Un altro metodo per valutare il livello di vuoto è quello di impiegare la pressione barometrica nel luogo di utilizzo. La
pompa del vuoto genererà un vuoto che sarà inferiore alla pressione barometrica di quel giorno di circa 20 mm Hg
(1.0 poll.). Se la pressione fornita dal barometro nella zona di utilizzo è di 750 mm Hg (29,5 poll.) ci si può attendere
dalla pompa un vuoto massimo di 730 mm Hg (28,5 poll.). La pressione barometrica varia quotidianamente.

SICHERHEITSVORKEHRUNGEN:
AUSSCHLIESSLICH FÜR PROFESSIONELLEN GEBRAUCH BESTIMMT.
Bitte diese Bedienungsanleitung vor der Installation und Inbetriebnahme dieses Geräts sorgfältig lesen.
• Die Pumpe nicht im Freien bei Regen oder in der Nähe von offenen Flammen betreiben.
• Das Gerät niemals in der Nähe brennbarer Materialien, Flüssigkeiten oder Dämpfen betreiben oder für diese
Materialien verwenden.
• Das Gerät muss elektrisch über ein Dreileiterkabel oder eine Schutzkontaktsteckdose geerdet werden. Die vorhandene
Stromversorgung muss über eine Stromleitung geeigneter Stärke entsprechend den lokalen elektrischen Normen
erfolgen.
• Das Gerät muss so aufgestellt werden, dass das Netzkabel leicht aus der Wand- oder Gerätesteckdose entfernt
werden kann.
• Der Motor ist thermisch geschützt und wird nach der Rückstellung des Schutzes automatisch neu gestartet. Vor der
Wartung GRUNDSÄTZLICH die Stromquelle vom Gerät trennen.
• Wenn die Pumpe an den Auslass- und/oder Ansaugöffnungen mit Plastikstopfen ausgestattet ist, diese vor
Inbetriebnahme des Geräts entfernen.
• Die Wartung des Geräts darf erst dann erfolgen, wenn diese Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig gelesen und verstanden
wurde.
• Niemals die Komponenten des Geräts mit Öl, Fett oder Erdölprodukten einfetten oder mit säurehaltigen, ätzenden
oder chlorhaltigen Lösungsmitteln reinigen.
• Die Pumpe in der Originalverpackung samt Einsätzen lagern. Die Pumpe bleibt so sauber und geschützt. Eine
Beschädigung des Geräts aufgrund ungeeigneter Lagerung kann so zudem vermieden werden.
• Sollte das Gerät nicht gemäß den in dieser Anleitung festgelegten Anweisungen betrieben werden, wird der
Geräteschutz u. U. beeinträchtigt.

Durch Transport verursachte Schäden sind dem Spediteur sofort mitzuteilen, nachdem sie
festgestellt wurden.
Die Gerätepackung enthält:

Bedienungsanleitung
AUSPACKEN:
Karton und anderes Verpackungsmaterial für künftige Transporte des Geräts aufbewahren.
• Karton öffnen.
• Das Gerät vorsichtig durch Anheben der Verpackungsunterlagen aus dem Karton nehmen. Gerät dabei unten stützen,
damit es nicht wegrutscht.
• Verpackungsunterlagen entfernen.
• Plastikhülle entfernen.
INSTALLATION:
1. Pumpe unter dem Vakuumbrennofen positionieren. Wenn die Pumpe über dem Brennofen befestigt wird, fließt das
kondensierte Wasser aus den Leitungen wieder in den Brennofen zurück.
2. Plastikabdeckungen von den Auslass- und/oder Ansaugöffnungen entfernen. Vor Inbetriebnahme der Pumpe
Schalldämpfer und Anschlussstück einschrauben (Anschlussstück fest einschrauben, um ein optimales Vakuum zu
erzielen). Wenn die Abdeckungen nicht entfernt werden, wird die Pumpe dadurch möglicherweise beschädigt.
3. Füße anbringen und mit den mitgelieferten Muttern festschrauben.
4. Die Pumpe muss waagerecht angebracht werden.
5. Die Vakuumleitung vom Brennofen an den Einlass der Pumpe anschließen.
(a) Den Schlauch über das Anschlussstück schieben.
6. Das Netzkabel der Pumpe an der Rückseite des DENTSPLY Prosthetics am elektrischen Ausgang anschließen. Sobald
ein Vakuum für einen Brennzyklus benötigt wird, kann die Pumpe so über den Brennofen gestartet werden.

Dieses Gerät steht unter gefährlicher Spannung. Wartungs- und Reparaturarbeiten dürfen nur durch autorisierte
Kundendiensttechniker von DENTSPLY Prosthetics ausgeführt werden.
Damit das Gerät stets einwandfrei funktioniert, müssen nachstehende Richtlinien befolgt werden:
• Das Gerät regelmäßig auf mechanische Schäden hin untersuchen.
• Die Pumpe ist wartungsfrei. Es ist keine Ölschmierung erforderlich.
REINIGUNG:
• Das Gerät mindestens ein Mal pro Woche reinigen.
• Die Außenseiten mit einem weichen, feuchten Tuch und einem milden Reinigungsmittel und Wasser reinigen.
• DAS GERÄT NICHT IN WASSER TAUCHEN!

FEHLERBEHEBUNG:
Dieses Gerät darf nur von qualifiziertem Personal gewartet werden. Andernfalls kann es zu Körperverletzungen
und/oder Sachschäden kommen.
FAKTOREN, DIE ZU EINER BEEINTRÄCHTIGUNG DER PUMPENLEISTUNG FÜHREN
Bei Normalnull erzeugt die Vakuumpumpe ein Vakuum von 740 mmHg. Das maximale Vakuumniveau der Pumpe
verringert sich pro 300 Meter Erhöhung um 25 mmHg. Bei einem Betrieb der Pumpe bei 300 Meter über dem
Meeresspiegel würde die maximale Leistung demnach bei 715 mmHg liegen.
Das Vakuumniveau lässt sich auch über den Luftdruck am jeweiligen Ort ermitteln. Das von der Pumpe erzeugte Vakuum
ist um 20 mmHg geringer als der Luftdruck, der an dem jeweiligen Tag vorherrscht. Wird ein Luftdruck von 750 mmHg
gemessen, kann von einer Maximalleistung von 730 mmHg ausgegangen werden. Bitte beachten, dass sich der
Luftdruck täglich ändert.

Dieses Gerät ist zum Schutz des Bedieners mit Sicherheitsfunktionen ausgestattet und darf in keiner Form verändert
werden. Dieses Gerät darf nur von qualifiziertem Personal repariert werden. Bei Nichtbeachtung dieser
Vorsichtsmaßnahmen kann es zu Verbrennungen oder Stromschlag kommen.
Es stehen drei Arten von Produktservice zur Verfügung:
• Telefonische Unterstützung (siehe Telefonnummer weiter unten),
• Rücksendung des Geräts zu Wartungszwecken (siehe Anweisungen im nächsten Abschnitt),

Prosthetics, dass dieser Ofen zwei Jahre ab dem Verkaufsdatum frei von Material- und Verarbeitungsmängeln ist. Die
Haftung von DENTSPLY Prosthetics unter dieser Garantie beschränkt sich ausschließlich auf die Reparatur oder, nach
Ermessen von DENTSPLY Prosthetics, den Ersatz dieser in der Garantie enthaltenen Produkte, die innerhalb der
geltenden Gewährleistungszeit an DENTSPLY Prosthetics (frei Haus) zurückgesandt und von DENTSPLY Prosthetics für
fehlerhaft erklärt werden. Diese Garantie gilt nicht für Produkte, die missbräuchlich, fahrlässig oder falsch
verwendet, durch einen Unfall beschädigt, modifiziert, durch nicht autorisierte Personen repariert oder falsch
installiert wurden.
INSPEKTION: Der Käufer muss das Produkt nach Erhalt inspizieren. Der Käufer muss DENTSPLY Prosthetics
schriftlich über etwaige Ansprüche wegen material- und verarbeitungsbedingter Defekte benachrichtigen, und zwar
innerhalb von dreißig Tagen, nachdem der Käufer den Defekt feststellt oder die Tatsachen festgestellt haben sollte,
auf die sich ein solcher Anspruch gründet. Falls der Käufer versäumt, einen solchen Anspruch in schriftlicher Form
innerhalb dieses Zeitraums mitzuteilen, verfällt der Anspruch.
HAFTUNGSAUSSCHLUSS: TDie hier getroffenen Bestimmungen stellen die einzige Verpflichtung von DENTSPLY
Prosthetics dar und schließen alle anderen Entschädigungen oder Garantien, ausdrückliche oder implizite, aus,
einschließlich solcher, die sich auf MARKTGÄNGIGKEIT und EIGNUNG FÜR EINEN BESTIMMTEN ZWECK
beziehen.

SEGURIDAD:

Por favor lea atentamente estas instrucciones sobre funcionamiento antes de instalar o poner en funcionamiento este
equipo.
• No utilice la bomba en el exterior bajo la lluvia ni cerca del fuego.
• No utilice nunca esta unidad con materiales sólidos o líquidos combustibles o vapores, ni emplee la bomba en
presencia de estos elementos.
• La unidad debe tener una conexión de puesta a tierra para un tomacorriente o un enchufe de tres cables. El servicio
eléctrico suministrado debe constar de una línea exclusiva del tamaño adecuado de acuerdo con los códigos
eléctricos locales.
• La unidad debe colocarse en una posición que permita desconectar fácilmente el cable de alimentación de la pared
o del enchufe de entrada.
• El motor está protegido térmicamente y se puede reiniciar automáticamente cuando se restablezca el protector.
Desconecte SIEMPRE la fuente de alimentación antes de realizar cualquier reparación.
• Si la bomba está equipada con tapones de plástico en los puertos de entrada o ventilación, retírelos antes de iniciar
la unidad.
• No intente realizar tareas de mantenimiento en la unidad hasta que haya leído y entendido este manual de
instrucciones.
• No lubrique ninguna pieza con aceite, grasa, productos derivados del petróleo ni utilice para la limpieza disolventes
ácidos, cáusticos o clorados en ningún momento.
• Almacene la bomba en su embalaje original con los insertos. De este modo la bomba se mantendrá protegida y
limpia. Si se almacena de este modo, se protegerá de los daños derivados de un almacenamiento incorrecto.
• Si la unidad no se utiliza tal y como se especifica en este manual, puede alterarse la protección proporcionada por
la unidad.

FUNCIONAMIENTO GENERAL:
Debe comunicarse al transportista los daños sufridos en el envío tan pronto como se detecten.
El paquete de la unidad contiene lo siguiente:

DESEMBALAJE:
Guarde la caja y cualquier otro material de embalaje para utilizarlo en el futuro cuando transporte la unidad.
• Abra la caja.
• Saque la unidad de la caja con cuidado colocándola sobre los soportes del embalaje. Sujete la unidad por la base
para evitar que resbale.
• Retire los soportes de empaquetamiento.
• Retire la bolsa de plástico.
INSTALACIÓN:
1. Coloque la bomba debajo del horno de vacío. Si se monta la bomba sobre el horno, el agua que se pueda
condensar en las tuberías fluirá de nuevo al horno.
2. Retire las cubiertas de plástico de los puertos de entrada y ventilación. Enrosque la pieza de entrada (hasta que
quede bien apretada para conseguir el vacío óptimo) y el silenciador de ventilación antes de utilizar la bomba. La
bomba podría dañarse si no se retiran las cubiertas.
3. Instale los pies y ajústelos con las tuercas proporcionadas.
4. La bomba se debe montar horizontalmente.
5. Conecte la tubería de vacío desde el horno hasta la entrada de la bomba.
(a) Ajuste con fuerza el tubo sobre la pieza de entrada.
6. Conecte el cable de alimentación de la bomba al enchufe eléctrico de la parte trasera del horno DENTSPLY
Prosthetics. Esto permitirá que el horno accione la bomba cuando se requiera un vacío en un ciclo.

No utilice prolongadores eléctricos con este equipo.

MANTENIMIENTO:
ADVERTENCIA:
Este equipo tiene voltajes peligrosos. El trabajo de mantenimiento y reparación debe ser realizado exclusivamente
por un técnico autorizado del servicio técnico de DENTSPLY Prosthetics.
Para mantener el equipo en buenas condiciones de funcionamiento, debe seguir las siguientes pautas.
• Examine el equipo con frecuencia para comprobar si presenta daños mecánicos.
• La bomba no necesita mantenimiento. No es necesario lubricarla con aceite.
LIMPIEZA:
• Limpie la unidad al menos una vez a la semana.
• Limpie las superficies externas con un paño suave, humedecido con un detergente suave y agua.
• ¡NO LA SUMERJA EN AGUA!

RESOLUCIEÓN DE PROBLEMAS:
El servicio técnico de este equipo debe ser realizado exclusivamente por personal cualificado. Si no se cumplen las
instrucciones, podrían producirse lesiones personales y/o daños materiales.
FACTORES QUE AFECTAN AL RENDIMIENTO DE LA BOMBA DE VACÍO
La bomba de vacío es capaz de conseguir un vacío de 740 mm Hg (29") al nivel del mar. Por cada 300 metros
(1000') de altura se reduce el nivel de vacío máximo en 25 mm Hg (1"). Por este motivo, si la bomba funciona en una
zona que está a 300 metros (1000') por encima del nivel de mar, el resultado máximo que se puede obtener sería de
715 mm Hg (28").
Otra forma de comprobar el nivel de vacío consiste en utilizar la presión barométrica de su emplazamiento. Su bomba
de vacío alcanzará un valor de vacío que será unos 20 mm Hg (1,0") inferior a la presión barométrica de un día
determinado. Si la lectura del barómetro de su zona es de 750 mm Hg (29,5"), puede esperar un resultado máximo de
la bomba de vacío de 730 mm Hg (28,5"). La presión barométrica varía de un día a otro.

Este equipo está diseñado con funciones de seguridad para proteger al usuario y no debe modificarse de ninguna
forma. Sólo las personas calificadas deben reparar esta pieza de equipo. Si no se siguen estas precauciones,
podrían producirse quemaduras o descargas eléctricas.
Hay tres métodos para servicio técnico del producto:
• Asistencia telefónica disponible en el número indicado a continuación.
• Devolver la unidad para servicio técnico siguiendo las instrucciones que se describen a continuación.
• Llamar al siguiente número de teléfono de DENTSPLY y obtener un manual de servicio técnico por un precio nominal.
ANTES DE DEVOLVER LA UNIDAD:
• Llame a DENTSPLY para obtener un número de Registro del producto (Product Record, PR). Éste se utiliza para
realizar un seguimiento e identificar su unidad. El equipo que se reciba sin este número no será identificable.
• El equipo dañado en el envío como resultado de un embalaje incorrecto podría no ser pagado por el transportista.
DENTSPLY no se responsabiliza de los daños derivados de un empaquetado incorrecto.

Prosthetics garantiza que esta unidad está libre de defectos materiales y de fabricación durante un período de 2
años desde la fecha de venta. La responsabilidad de DENTSPLY Prosthetics conforme a esta garantía se limita
exclusivamente a reparar o, según la opción determinada por DENTSPLY Prosthetics, sustituir los productos incluidos
en la garantía que se devuelvan a DENTSPLY Prosthetics dentro del período de garantía correspondiente (con gastos
de envío prepagados), y que DENTSPLY Prosthetics considere defectuosos. Esta garantía no aplicará a ningún
producto que haya estado sujeto a uso incorrecto, negligencia o accidente, haya sido modificado o reparado por
personas no autorizadas o no se haya instalado correctamente.
INSPECCIÓN: El comprador inspeccionará el producto después de recibirlo. El comprador notificará por escrito a
DENTSPLY Prosthetics sobre cualquier defecto material y de fabricación en los treinta días siguientes al
descubrimiento del defecto por parte del comprador o si ha descubierto los hechos en los que se basa la
