Data Music è un dispositivo da applicare a GoPro® HERO3+
e HERO4 che, in abbinamento a uno smartphone, permette
di integrare al tuo video la musica che preferisci, oppure
dati ottenuti da sensori esterni (GPS, accelerometro, giroscopio, cardio...).
Facile da utilizzare, permette di dare alle tue riprese un
tocco professionale e coinvolgente!
Data Music is a device for application to GoPro® HERO3+
and HERO4. Used with a smartphone, it allows you to add
your favourite music or data from external sensors (GPS,
accelerometer, gyroscope, cardio…) to your video.
Simple to use, it gives your videos a fascinating, professional touch!

1) Scaricare gratuitamente l’App GET On
dall’App Store o Play Store.
2) Collegare il dispositivo Data Music
alla camera.
• ATTENZIONE: per un corretto funzionamento del dispositivo, utilizzare
la propria GoPro® inserendola nel case, con l’apposito
sportellino fornito in dotazione. Il funzionamento del dispositivo non è garantito in caso di utilizzo di un diverso
backdoor.
1) Download the free GET On App from App Store or Play
Store.
2) Connect the device to the camera.
• ATTENTION: for the device to work properly, use your
GoPro®, inserting it into the housing, with the special
backdoor provided. The device cannot be guaranteed to
function if a different backdoor is used.

3) Se il dispositivo Data Music è stato precedentemente
collegato allo smartphone, passare al punto 4. In caso
contrario, procedere con il collegamento manuale, seguendo queste indicazioni:
- tenere premuto il tasto laterale del Data Music per 3
secondi fino a che il LED rosso comincerà a lampeggiare;
- avviare la ricerca di dispositivi Bluetooth® e attendere che
il dispositivo “Data Music” venga rilevato dallo smartphone;
- selezionare “Data Music” dalla lista dei dispositivi
Bluetooth® disponibili;
- ultimato l’accoppiamento, il LED rosso si spegnerà e il LED
verde comincerà a lampeggiare.
• ATTENZIONE: - nel caso il Data Music non venga abbinato
a uno smartphone entro 2 minuti, il LED rosso smetterà di
lampeggiare e sarà necessario ripetere la procedura.
- per accoppiare il Data Music a un altro smartphone,
ripetere le indicazioni descritte al punto 3.

3) If Data Music is already connected to the smartphone,
go to step 4. If not, continue with manual connection,
as follows:
- hold the Data Music side button down for 3 seconds until
the red LED begins to blink fast;
- search for Bluetooth® devices and wait until the smartphone finds “Data Music”:
- choose “Data Music” from the list of available Bluetooth®
devices;
- once connected, the red LED will automatically stop blinking and switch off. The green LED will start flashing.
• ATTENTION: - if Data Music does not connect with a
Smartphone within 2 minutes, the red LED will stop flashing and the procedure should be repeated;
- to connect Data Music to another smartphone, repeat the
instructions in step 3.

5) per confermare la registrazione, cliccare sul link ricevuto per
email.
• ATTENZIONE: per evitare che
l’audio registri eventuali suoni di
notifiche ricevute, impostare lo
smartphone in “modalità aereo”.
In caso contrario, l’avviso acusti-
co verrà integrato con l’audio del video in registrazione.
4) Launch the GET On App.
The first time you use it, create a new user profile, inserting
your email address and personal password.
5) to confirm registration, click on the link received by email.
• ATTENTION: to avoid the audio recording any notification
sounds, turn on “airplane mode” on your smartphone.
Otherwise, the notification sounds will be heard in the
audio of the video you are recording.
SETTINGS
6) Accedere alla schermata SETTINGS e selezionare i sensori dei dati (interni o esterni) che si desiderano acquisire.
• ATTENZIONE: accertarsi sempre che il Bluetooth® sia
attivo e che eventuali sensori esterni siano correttamente
connessi allo smartphone. Se non compaiono sensori nella schermata, premere il tasto FIND NEW SENSORS.

6) Go to the SETTINGS screen and select the data sensors
(internal or external) you want to get.
• ATTENTION: always check Bluetooth® is active and that
any external sensors are properly connected to the smartphone. If no sensors can be seen on the screen, press
FIND NEW SENSORS.

7) Accedere alla schermata START ACQUISITION e definire
i parametri.
8) Per inserire una colonna sonora nel video, impostare il
selettore playlist su ON (solo per Android), selezionare la
playlist precedentemente creata (utilizzando il software di
musica predefinito dello smartphone), e premere GO!

7) Go to the START ACQUISITION screen and define the
parameters.
8) To give your video a soundtrack, select ON (for Android
only) for the playlist. Select the previously created playlist
(using the smartphone’s predefined music software) and
press GO!

9) Iniziare la registrazione premendo il tasto REC sulla
camera. Sul dispositivo lampeggerà il LED verde a conferma
che il Data Music è in modalità registrazione.
È comunque possibile utilizzare lo smartphone per altre
attività, ricordandosi di lasciare la App in funzione.
10) Per terminare la registrazione, premere il tasto STOP.
L’operazione dei punti 9 e 10 può essere ripetuta più volte.
9) Begin recording by pressing REC on the camera.
The green LED on the device will flash, confirming that Data
Music is in recording mode.
You can still carry out other activities on the smartphone,
but remember to leave the App functioning.
10) To end the recording, press STOP.
Steps 9 and 10 can be repeated several times.
ACQUISITION LIST
11) A fine riprese, passare alla schermata ACQUISITION
LIST e selezionare SYNCHRONIZE WITH CLOUD.
• ATTENZIONE: al termine di ogni giornata, ricordarsi di
sincronizzare i file assicurandosi di avere una connessione
internet attiva.

11) When recording is finished, go to the ACQUISITION LIST
screen and select SYNCHRONIZE WITH CLOUD.
• ATTENTION: at the end of each day, remember to
synchronise the files, making sure you have an active
Internet connection.

12) Installare il software GET On Studio sul tuo PC o Mac
(software gratuito scaricabile dal sito www.getdatamusic.
com).
13) Trasferire i video dalla camera a PC o Mac.
• NOTA: è possibile scaricare il video dalla GoPro® utilizzando un cavo USB oppure inserendo nel computer la
scheda di memoria della camera. Per ulteriori informazioni,
consultare il manuale d’uso GoPro® in dotazione alla
camera.
12) Install the GET On Studio software in your PC or Mac
(download free from www.getdatamusic.com).
13) Move the videos from the camera to your PC or Mac.
• N.B.: you can download the video from using a USB cable
or your camera’s memory card. For more information, see
the user manual that comes with the camera.
14) Lanciare il software GET On Studio assicurandosi di
essere connessi a Internet. Premere su SELECT VIDEO e
caricare il video desiderato.
• ATTENZIONE: al primo avvio verranno richiesti indirizzo
email e password con i quali si è effettuata la registrazione
(vedi punto 4).
14) Launch the GET On Studio software, making sure you
are connected to Internet. Press SELECT VIDEO and upload
the chosen video.
• ATTENTION: at the first launch, you will be asked for the
email and password used when you registered (see step
4).

15) Selezionare il template che si desidera visualizzare nel
video finale.
16) Premere ADD TO QUEUE e scegliere la destinazione di
salvataggio.
17) Premere CONVERT. Il software eseguirà automaticamente l’accoppiamento dati e video.
18) Il video completo con l’overlay dei dati è ora pronto per
essere pubblicato e condiviso.

15) Choose the template you want to visualise in the final
video.
16) Press ADD TO QUEUE and choose where to save the
video.
17) Press CONVERT. The software will automatically merge
data and video.
18) The video, complete with data overlay, is ready to be
published and shared.

NOTE IMPORTANTI:
1) La presenza del jingle ufficiale Data Music all’inizio della
registrazione è indispensabile affinché il software GET On
Studio proceda con l’integrazione dei dati.
È quindi necessario che il jingle non venga rimosso e/o
tagliato.
2) Il montaggio di video registrati in risoluzione 4K potrebbe
rallentare le operazioni di editing. Si consiglia di utilizzare la
risoluzione FULL HD o inferiore.

IMPORTANT:
1) The official Data Music jingle at the start of the recording
is essential for the GET On Studio software to proceed to
merge the data. The jingle must therefore not be removed
and/or cut.
2) Editing the recorded videos in 4K resolution may slow
down operations. We recommend using FULL HD resolution or less.
