È un modello che fa parte de “l’équipement
intérieur d’une habitation” presentato al Salon
d’Automne di Parigi, 1929.
La struttura superiore, che può essere cromata
o verniciata, poggia su di una base metallica
nera.
Contrastata con estrema eleganza dall’ampia
curva che la sorregge, la linea spezzata
del piano-sdraio, si ispira a quella del “sofà
Cangura”, Virginia, U.S.A. (1830), la cui sagoma
anti tradizionale fu concepita per adattarsi al
corpo in riposo. La stabilità della struttura
superiore – per qualsiasi angolo di inclinazione
– è assicurata dall’attrito con tubi di gomma che
rivestono i traversi del piedistallo.
LC4 in pelle può essere corredata di cuscino
nella stessa tonalità dell’intero rivestimento,
accanto alla consueta versione con cuscino in
nero. Si ottiene così una monocromia che ne
esalta la purezza formale.

Der verchromte oder lackierte Stahlrahmen liegt
auf einem schwarzen Stahluntergestell.
Die unterbrochene Linie der Liegefläche, zu der
die weite Krümmung, auf die sie sich stützt,
einen eleganten Kontrast bildet, wurde vom
“Sofa Känguruh”, Virginia, USA (1830) inspiriert,
dessen anti-traditionelle Form sich bemüht,
sich dem ruhenden Körper anzupassen. Die
Stabilität der oberen Struktur wird – bei jedem
Neigungswinkel – durch die Reibung der
Gummirohre, mit denen die Querstangen des
Sockels überzogen sind, gesichert.
LC4 aus Leder kann außer mit der bekannten
Ausführung mit schwarzem Kissen auch
mit einem auf den ganzen Überzug farblich
abgestimmten Kissen versehen werden. Damit
wird eine Einfarbigkeit erzielt, die die formale
Reinheit unterstreicht.

Its upper structure, which can be either chromeplated or lacquered, rests on a black metal
base. The broken line of the lounging top is
very elegantly contrasted with the amply curved
support, and it is inspired by the “Kangaroo
Sofa”, Virginia, U.S.A. (1830), the unconventional
shape of which was an attempt to match a body
at rest.
The stability of the upper structure – at any angle
of inclination – is ensured by friction against the
rubber covering the pedestal crosspieces.
LC4 in leather could be supplied with a cushion
in the same colour as the whole covering, along
with the customary black cushion version. In
this way, a mono-colour version is obtained,
enhancing purity of form.
Ce modèle fait partie de “L’équipement intérieur
d’une habitation” présenté au Salon d’Automne
de Paris de 1929.
La balancelle qui peut être chromée ou laquée,
repose sur une base métallique noire.
La ligne discontinue de l’assise, qui forme un
contraste très élégant avec la grande courbe qui
la soutient – s’inspire du “canapé Kangourou”,
Virginia, U.S.A. (1830), dont la forme inhabituelle
était conçue pour s’adapter au mieux à la forme
du corps au repos. La stabilité de l'élément
supérieur est assurée sous tous les angles
d’inclinaison par le contact avec les garnitures
de caoutchouc dont sont revêtus les tubes du
piètement.
LC4 en cuir peut être dotée d’un coussin dans
le même ton que le revêtement, en plus de la
version habituelle avec le coussin de couleur
noire. On obtient ainsi une monochromie qui
exalte sa pureté formelle.

10 years, starting from the purchase date verified by the bill of sale or receipt. HOW CASSINA WILL RESPOND Any defect must be notified to the authorised Cassina retailer, who will send it
back to Cassina without delay. Cassina will examine the product and assess whether the problem falls under the cover of the guarantee. At its own discretion, Cassina will repair the product, if
defective, or replace it with an equal or similar product. Should the product no longer be on sale, Cassina will take steps, at its own discretion, to provide an adequate replacement. CONDITIONS
FOR THE GUARANTEE Guarantees are valid from the purchase date of the product. The guarantees are not applicable to products which have not been kept or put together correctly, used
unsuitably, which have not been tampered with, altered or cleaned with unsuitable procedures or products. The guarantees do not cover normal wear and tear, cuts or scratches, or damages
due to collision or accident. The guarantees are not applicable if the products have been located in external or humid environments. The guarantees, unless otherwise specified, refer only to
domestic use of the products. MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS To make use of the guarantee it is necessary to adhere to the specific maintenance instructions of each individual product.

GARANTIEUMFANG In der Garantie enthalten sind Mängel an strukturellen Teilen, Verchromungen und Lacken. NICHT IM GARANTIEUMFANG ENTHALTEN Nicht im Garantieumfang
enthalten sind Futterstoffe, Dekokissen und zusätzliche Kissen, die zusammen mit den Sitzmöglichkeiten verkauft werden und alles, was nicht ausdrücklich im Garantieumfang erwähnt
wurde. GARANTIEDAUER 10 Jahre ab Kaufdatum mit Vorlage des Kassenzettels oder Steuerbelegs. VORGEHENSWEISE BEI GELTENDMACHUNG DER GARANTIE Der Mangel ist dem
Vertragshändler von Cassina anzuzeigen, der diesen unverzüglich an Cassina weiterleitet. Cassina prüft das Produkt und wägt ab, ob der Mangel durch die Garantie gedeckt ist. Cassina wird
das Produkt, wenn fehlerhaft, nach eigenem, unanfechtbarem Ermessen reparieren oder es durch ein gleiches oder ähnliches Produkt ersetzen. Sollte das Produkt nicht mehr zum Verkauf
stehen, wird Cassina nach eigenem, unanfechtbarem Ermessen geeigneten Ersatz leisten. GARANTIEBEDINGUNGEN Die Garantie gilt ab dem Kaufdatum des Produkts. Die Garantie gilt
nicht für Produkte, die nicht sachgerecht aufbewahrt oder aufgebaut wurden, nicht angemessen verwendet oder beschädigt, verändert oder mit ungeeigneten Verfahren oder Produkten
gereinigt wurden. Normale Abnutzung, Schnitte oder Kratzer bzw. durch Stöße oder Unfälle verursachte Schäden sind nicht im Garantieumfang enthalten. Eine Garantieübernahme erfolgt
nicht, wenn das Produkt in externen oder feuchten Bereichen untergebracht wurde. Soweit nicht anders angegeben, bezieht sich die Garantie nur auf einen häuslichen Gebrauch der Produkte.
WARTUNGSANLEITUNGEN Die Garantie kann nur dann geltend gemacht werden, wenn die spezifische Wartungsanleitung jedes einzelnen Produkts beachtet wurde.

DUREE DE LA GARANTIE 10 ans à partir de la date d'achat certifiée par le ticket de caisse ou le reçu fiscal. COMMENT INTERVIENT CASSINA Le défaut devra être signalé au revendeur
agrée Cassina, qui se chargera ensuite de le renvoyer sans délai à Cassina. Cassina examinera le produit et évaluera si le problème entre dans le cadre de la garantie. Cassina se chargera de
réparer le produit si celui-ci s'avère défectueux ou de le remplacer par un produit équivalent ou similaire. Dans le cas où le produit n'était plus en vente, Cassina se chargera de le remplacer par
un produit équivalent. CONDITIONS DE GARANTIE Les garanties sont valables à partir de la date d'achat du produit. Les garanties ne pourront pas s'appliquer aux produits non entretenus
ou non montés correctement, forcés, abîmés, ayant fait l'usage d'une utilisation impropre, ou nettoyés avec des produits ou des moyens non adaptés. Les garanties ne couvrent pas l'usure
normale, les entailles ou les égratignures ni les dommages provoqués par des chocs ou des accidents. Les garanties ne pourront pas s'appliquer si les produits ont été entreposés dans des
