Short Description
Research Associate at the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence and Ph.d.Candidate in Economics at the University
of Siena. Expert in analysis and modeling of quantitative data, the research interests are mainly concentrated on the
European welfare and health systems changes due to the mobility and integration of migrants. Prior to joining the GlobalStat
team in 2013, I have also worked in several II.OO. and NGOs in Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, Serbia and Spain,
dealing mainly with public health and migration issues. I have also written for the European Parliament Research Service’s
blog, East Journal and NeoDemos.info.

Thesis title Migrants, EU health systems and equity issues: the thesis is a study of the health discrimination suffered
and short by migrants in Europe, through a quantitative analysis to their health inequality of opportunities and unmet
description needs (EU-SILC dataset, years 2007-2014).
