and AngloDutch by FG stijl (2008), Interna product range, with the three

Create your poetry
Bedroom Stories is an expression of chameleonic poetry. Each single room,
individually flexible, modular and, therefore, adaptable to any space requirement,
is the brainchild of a unique design project. It tells a fascinating, seductive
and intriguing story, while also being part of a concrete project aimed
at the leading figures of the hospitality world, a project which is extremely
functional and totally versatile in its selection of materials, finishes and dimensions
to suit all tastes. The project also includes the possibility for the furnishing
solutions of each single room to interact harmoniously with the concept
of the other rooms, thus creating a highly individual personal ambience while
completely satisfying each and everybody’s cultural genius loci. Furthermore,
each room is completed with refined bedding, created ad hoc for Interna:
luxury sheet sets in linen or satin, rugs made of soft wool, alpaca and cashmere,
fine-quality materials which bring to life enticing colour combinations.
Last but not least, the five Bedroom Stories rooms, apart from their great
aesthetic force, are above all functional, ideal for large contract supplies:
they are produced to the very highest standards of quality and safety, in line
with the legislations of all the countries of destination; robust and functional,
they will stand up to all manner of wear and tear.

Bedroom Stories è espressione di poesia camaleontica.
Ogni camera, individualmente flessibile, modulare e quindi
adattabile ad ogni esigenza di spazio, è protagonista di un design
unico e racconta una storia affascinante, seducente, intrigante,
ma fa parte anche di un progetto concreto rivolto ai protagonisti
del mondo hospitality ed è estremamente funzionale e totalmente
personalizzabile per materiali, finiture, dimensioni. Il progetto
inoltre comprende per gli arredi di ogni singola camera
la possibilità di interazione armoniosa con concept di altre camere
così da creare la propria personalissima ambience e soddisfare
appieno il proprio genius loci culturale. Ogni camera è inoltre
corredata da raffinata biancheria da letto creata ad hoc

e fortemente personalizzabile in base alle singole esigenze:
preziosi completi di lenzuola in lino o raso, morbidi plaid in lana,
alpaca, cachemire, materiali di alta manifattura che danno vita
a suggestivi cromatismi. Da ultimo, le 5 Bedroom Stories
dall’indubbio impatto estetico, sono state pensate come
un prodotto funzionale ideale per grandi forniture contract:
rispettano elevati standard qualitativi e sono conformi
alle normative dei vari paesi in tema di sicurezza e prevenzione;

Harmony
Design and functionality are combined to create a space where
the guest can move easily and can be at ease.
Timbers and veneers provide warmth and richness to create
a balance of tone and colour with the wall covering and paint
and the lighting emphasizes the layering and dimensionality
of the materials. The open bath area, the built in mini bar
location at the entry and the bedroom layout create a spacious
and free flowing environment. The room provides an ambience
of comfort and harmony with an innovative planning
which is practical, functional and satisfies the demands
of the business and leisure traveller. The Bedroom Stories
concept adds a new and flexible dimension where aesthetics
meet functionality in an exciting and new arrangement
of design finishes and furnishings.
Design e funzionalità si uniscono per creare una spazio dove
l’ospite può muoversi con facilità e sentirsi a suo agio.
Legni e finiture creano una sensazione di calore e ricercatezza
e ben si integrano per toni e colori con i rivestimenti
e le tinteggiature, mentre l’illuminazione enfatizza la materialità
delle finiture. L’area bagno integrata nella camera, il minibar
incassato all’entrata e la disposizione degli arredi creano
un ambiente libero e armonioso. La stanza offre un’atmosfera
confortevole e suadente, dalla disposizione innovativa, pratica
e funzionale, adatta a soddisfare le esigenze di chi viaggia
per lavoro o per piacere. Il concetto di Bedroom Stories crea
una dimensione nuova e flessibile, dove l’estetica incontra

When I think about a hotel room, I think about what a couple
madly in love would like to find. Sensuality and calmness
of course, but also that particular magic that could sublimate
intimacy. The taste today, like everything else, has turned global,
and even if I, as a principle avoid all what is fashionable,
I am not against using the simplicity of ample volumes, the sense
of calmness of a long curtain in white taffetas, the functionality
of contemporary furnishings. There is no need to overdo!
Just enhance the shapes to prompt a relax attitude, arrange
a sexy, warm and joyful lighting. In this room I love particularly
the excessive size of the very modern and sensual headboard,
the game between clearness and strictness, between thin materials
and ample volumes, and the extreme elegance of the curves
and their perfect ergonomics.
Quando penso a una camera d’albergo, immagino tutto quello
che una coppia innamorata desidererebbe trovarvi: sensualità
e tranquillità, certo, ma anche la magia atta a sublimare
quel momento d’intimità. Oggi il gusto si è globalizzato e,
benché io detesti per principio tutto ciò che è moda, non sono
contrario alla semplicità degli ampi spazi, al senso di pace
dei tendaggi di taffetas bianco, alla funzionalità dei mobili
contemporanei. No, non c’è bisogno di strafare! Solamente
scegliere le forme più rilassanti e offrire agli spazi luci sexy,
calde, gioiose. Riguardo a questa camera in particolare,
amo la smisurata testiera, a mio avviso molto moderna,
molto sensuale, il gioco dei chiaroscuri e dei volumi, l’estrema
eleganza delle curve e la loro perfetta ergonomia.

on origins, on what the ancients
had already discovered. I do not try
to re-invent, I much prefer
to retrieve the perfect proportions

Morpheus
The room is a single open space. Standing in front of the wardrobe
is an ottoman, ideal for laying out clothes or sitting and talking
to a partner. On opposite sides of the room are the wash basin
and grooming and powder stands. The living room softens
hard edges with curtains and sliding screens lit from behind.
The living room also boasts cocktail cabinet, concealed
television, low sitting sofa and two chairs for comfortable dining
and use at the desk. A night stand with built-in technology
can be used to change the mood through lighting. Yet technology
must be understandable and rooms endeavour to be user-friendly
on a human scale. All furniture items are free standing to allow
maximum flexability in the hotel room lay out.
La camera è un open space. Davanti al guardaroba, in posizione
centrale, c’è un’ ottomana su cui appoggiare i vestiti o sedersi
a chiacchierare con il partner. Su opposti lati sono collocati
il lavabo e la zona vanity. Le linee decise della zona living
vengono ammorbidite dalle tende e dagli schermi scorrevoli
retroilluminati che enfatizzano la struttura del mobile bar,
dello schermo tv integrato, del divano e delle poltrone adatte
sia per una cena sia per il lavoro alla scrivania.
Il comodino con tecnologia integrata permette di modificare
l’atmosfera della camera giocando con la luce. La tecnologia
è semplice e alla portata di tutti e gli arredi sono free standing
per permettere la massima flessibilità nel lay out.

the lines between residential and hospitality, a space that

a balance of clean, fresh lines and seamless details that exudes
warmth and personality. The ambiance is warm and welcoming
and awakens the senses. The interplay of space, light and colour
results in an amalgam of tradition and innovation and the design
is a visual feast for the eyes yet it portrays an understated
elegance and grace. The overall aesthetic creates a retreat from
the hectic schedule of daily life and will tempt you with chairs
and beds you may never wish to leave.
Più che creare una camera tipo, il concept di Bedroom Stories
che proponiamo crea uno spazio che sfuma le linee

without people who care to utilize it defeats the purpose.
Our Bedroom Stories concept doesn’t merely deliver aesthetics,
it delivers an experience to the guest. It delivers an experience
that is the voice of many channeled in the voice of one
that orchestrates a quiet, balanced in form and proportional
in pattern space. A room with a story that should inspire
the operators and generate an emotive reaction in the end user
with the use of functional components composed by natural
beautiful elements with complementary paletes. A space
that builds a relationship with its guest, that creates poetry.
Il design senza funzionalità risulta sterile e la funzionalità
senza persone che desiderino utilizzarla nega il suo scopo.
Non offriamo all’ospite mera estetica, ma un’esperienza.
Un’esperienza che è l’espressione di molti attraverso

Bilkey Llinas Design was founded in 1989, and
since then the firm has specialized in the realization
of projects for the high-end hospitality market.
Robert Bilkey, graduated of Colorado State University
School of Design, worked in the hospitality industry
and gained experience of all the phases of a project,
from the conceptual design to the management.
Oscar Llinas, after the degree at the U.C.L.A.,
worked for several years in the hospitality sector
and contributed to the creation of design concepts
like the contemporary grand hotel or the resort
casino. Mixing the skills in architectural planning
and interior design, the two designers created
a strong international company that offers a vast
and varied knowledge of the hospitality industry,
implementing high level projects world wide,
including hotels, resorts, casinos, country clubs,
spas and convention facilities.
Lo studio Bileky Llinas Design è stato fondato
nel 1989 e da allora si è specializzato nel design
di progetti per il mondo dell’ospitalità d’alta gamma.
Robert Bilkey, laureato presso la Colorado State
University School of Design, ha lavorato a lungo
nell’industria dell’ospitalità e ha acquisito
esperienza di tutte le fasi di un progetto, dal concept
design alla gestione del progetto stesso. Oscar Llinas,

Jacques Garcia, renowned architect and interior
designer, has made his life into a work of art. A lover
of art and history, he is also at heart a collector
with an exceptional talent for bringing out the soul
of places. The Costes Hotel in Paris, The Metropole
in Monte Carlo, the Victor Hotel in Miami, The Reserve
in Geneva, and La Mamounia in Marrakesh:
the greatest buildings ally their magnificence with
his unbridled creativity. The fifty or so locations
which every year enjoy unanimous approval of their
décor, owe this success to the fact that Jacques Garcia
has a very special and unique relationship with
comfort and the art of welcoming and hospitality.
Fighting against stiff formal interiors in contemporary
locations Garcia’s emphasis on comfort insists above
all on attitude, elegance, conviviality and a sense
of self and others. Shunning stuffiness, these
revived shapes and styles suggest a form of abandon
or sensuality which embody the Jacques Garcia
notion of modernity.

FG stijl was founded by Englishman Colin P. Finnegan
and Dutch native Gerard Glintmeijer in 1995 and today
comprises several different disciplines: interior
architecture, architecture, concept and product
design, styling and graphic design. This combination
of talents has been utilised across a range
of international projects including restaurants, hotels,
offices and retail spaces, as well as the design of bespoke
furniture pieces. The monograph collection
AngloDutch for Interna reflects their symbiotic
desire to design and create quality furniture. In their
first decade, FG stijl produced a prolific body of work,
including Amsterdam’s award winning, The College
Hotel. These efforts secured the Prix Villégiature
award for ‘Best Hotel Interior Design in Europe’ and
the Theme.nl 2005 Award for Best New Hotel Design
Netherlands. Their first book “Designed for people”
was published in 2008 and nominated for the Prix
Villégiature ‘Best Book on Hotels in Europe’ award.

Il loro primo libro, “Designed for people” pubblicato
nel 2008, è stato nominato al Prix Villégiature come
miglior libro per gli hotel in Europa.
HBA/Hirsch Bedner Associates combines a detailed
knowledge of design with a depth of experience that

Tonychi and Associates created in 1984, has a design
philosophy that encompasses beauty and practicality,
modernity and comfort. Tony Chi, founder and
president of the studio, moulded the firm as to create
spaces that are imbued with emotions. Over the years,
the team has restlessly pursued perfection; they engage
sensory perception to raise inherent consciousness:
with their design, there is always a current,
an energy that flows beneath the surface of things.
They strive for poetic design: and this is the feeling
that can be felt in his projects implemented
all over the world, being hotels, restaurants, clubs,
high-end residences, public areas and even cars.
Tonichi and Associates, creata nel 1984, propone
