On the occasion of the second edition of the Mario Rigoni
Stern Literary Prize, some friends recall the writer from
Asiago. Talking about Rigoni Stern and his Altipiano are,

young couple spend a weekend in the Giazza Forest.
Their encounter with Arva the witch, the legends of sacrificial rites practiced by the Cimbri, and the assault by
a zombi entwine horror with laughter.

All’inizio degli anni Settanta, il lupo in Italia era pressoché scomparso. Pochi branchi venivano segnalati tra
la Sila e i Monti Sibillini. L’estinzione sembrava inevitabile. Poi il vento è cambiato. Dagli Appennini, il lupo si
è messo in cammino verso nord. Marco Albino Ferrari
ripercorre questo viaggio e racconta storie di uomini e

At the beginning of the 1970s, the wolf had nearly vanished
in Italy. Very few packs were sighted between the Sibillini
Mountains and the Sila. Extinction seemed inevitable. Then
the tide changed. From the Apennines, the wolf began moving northward. Marco Albino Ferrari retraces this voyage

In Valstagna, in the Brenta Canal, new life is given to the
abandoned terraced landscape. The inhabitants, of Moroccan origin, decide to cultivate mint on the “parcels of land”

1944 ed è dedicato ai partigiani della V Divisione Giustizia e Libertà. Punto di partenza e di arrivo di escursioni,
luogo di incontro, di musica e di memoria.
In the Conca del Pra, in Val Pellice, the refuge Willy Jervis
is named for the partisan killed by the Nazi fascists in 1944
and is dedicated to the partisans of the 5th Division, Justice
and Liberty. It is a departure and arrival point for excursions
as well as a place for meeting, music, and memories.

Nel 2002, a Bodh Gaya, in India, centinaia di migliaia di
fedeli buddisti si radunano per un rito d’iniziazione alla
presenza del Dalai Lama. Ascendono in pellegrinaggio
alla montagna Kadash in un cammino di 52 km che li
porterà a quasi 5.000 metri di altitudine.
In 2002, in Bodh Gaya, India, hundreds of thousands of
Buddhists met for an initiation ritual in the presence of the
Dalai Lama. They ascended to the mountain in a 52 km pilgrimage that took them to 5,000 mts. above sea level.
