GREG MCPHERSON SEWARD
Greg ha iniziato la sua formazione in danza in giovane età e si è guadagnato un
posto alla “Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts”, dove ha completato le scuole
superiori studiando contemporaneamente Musical Theatre. Ha poi continuato a
studiare presso il London Studio Centre, dove si è specializzato in danza jazz.
Appena diplomato, Greg si è unito al cast de 'I Can not Stop Loving You - The
Music di Ray Charles' un musical, in tour negli US, diretto da Gary Llloyd
(Thriller Live). Da lì, ha continuato a lavorare a lungo nei campi della danza,
del Musical Theatre e della TV (Footloose, Spot TV per Talk Talk e T-Mobile,
show televisivi come Top of the Pops, CDUK e Discomania); ha lavorato anche
per le produzioni Qdos su svariate navi da crociera, ed importanti spettacoli
“pantomime” in tutto il mondo.
Greg ha ora spostato la sua carriera concentrandosi sullo sviluppo di interpreti
e futuri coreografi,e insegna Jazz e Musical Theatre. Greg è attualmente
Direttore del Foundation Course presso l'Accademia Urdang ed è uno dei
coreografi ed insegnanti a tempo pieno.
Greg began his dance training at a young age and successfully gained a place at
The Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts where he completed his secondary
school education alongside studying musical theatre. He then went on to study
at The London Studio Centre where he specialised in jazz dance.
Upon graduation Greg joined the cast of ‘I Can’t Stop Loving You – The Music of
Ray Charles’ a U.S.musical tour directed by Gary Llloyd (Thriller Live). From
there he went on to work extensively in both dance, musical theatre and TV
with credits including Footloose, TV Commercials for Talk Talk and T Mobile, TV
shows such as Top of the Pops, CDUK and Discomania and he also worked for
Qdos productions on various cruise ship contracts and pantomimes all over the
world.
Greg has now moved his career into developing future performers and
choreographs and teaches Jazz and Musical Theatre. Greg currently holds the
title of Head of Foundation Course at The Urdang Academy and is one of the
colleges full time choreographers and teachers.
