VX Easyfit , l’ultima evoluzione di prodotto nel campo delle
valvole a sfera realizzate in materiale termoplastico.
VX Easyfit è una innovativa valvola a sfera a smontaggio
radiale con regolazione del serraggio delle ghiere, che
consente una installazione semplice e sicura per un servizio
affidabile nel tempo.
FIP and Giugiaro Design have designed and developed
VX Easyfit, the last product evolution in the thermoplastic
ball valve manufacturing technology.
VX Easyfit is the innovative true union gear ball valve
introducing an advanced method of installation for
a long trouble free service.
Easyfit System
The principle of the bevel gear pair has been applied to
design the Easyfit mechanism that controls the rotation of
the union nuts during the valve installation.
Thanks to the reducing ratio of the torque, the valve union
nuts are easily and safely tightened or un-tightened without
over stressing the threaded components of the valves and
the pipeline jointing fittings.
The Easyfit mechanism can be very useful in a wide range
of pipeline layout, especially in narrow spaces, because the
stem of the valve is the pivot of the bevel gearing.
Sistema Easyfit
Easyfit è l’innovativo meccanismo basato sulla cinematica
delle ruote dentate coniche, che comanda la rotazione
delle ghiere durante l’installazione della valvola.
Grazie ad un favorevole rapporto di riduzione delle forze,
le ghiere vengono serrate in modo sicuro e controllato
durante il montaggio ed il collegamento della valvola alla
tubazione e vengono allentate in maniera analoga durante
le operazioni di smontaggio.
Easyfit risulta particolarmente efficace in quanto il fulcro
di rotazione della coppia conica è lo stelo di manovra,
componente facilmente accessibile in qualunque
configurazione di impianto.
Le ghiere ruotano tramite la maniglia di manovra
multifunzione o tramite la chiave dinamometrica
Easytorque posizionate direttamente sull’asse dello stelo.
L’uso della chiave dinamometrica è sempre raccomandato
quando si vogliano calibrare le coppie di serraggio
delle ghiere per evitare la distorsione delle tenute
elastomeriche e ridurre gli sforzi meccanici sulle filettature
termoplastiche.
La maniglia multifunzione risulta, invece, estremamente
utile nelle operazioni di manutenzione, ove si operi in spazi
limitati e di difficile accessibilità.
Il suo uso è comunque sempre consigliato poiché
garantisce una perfetta tenuta idraulica grazie alla
graduale compressione delle guarnizioni O-ring ed evita il
danneggiamento accidentale delle ghiere che può essere
causato dall’impiego di attrezzi non idonei.
The Easytorque wrench or the valve multifunctional handle
are the power driving tools to be placed on the stem axis
and used to turn the union nuts.
Easytorque wrench is recommended whenever the tightening
torque of the union nut must be set and recorded in order to
prevent distortion of the elastomeric seals and to reduce the
mechanical stress of the plastic threads.
The use of the multifunctional handle is the best solution
to carry out maintenance operations in narrow spaces
with limited access to the valve location but it is always
recommended to grant a gradual compression of O-ring
seals and to avoid non specific tools causing union nut
damaging or fluid leakage.

La valvola a sfera VX Easyfit è stata interamente
progettata utilizzando l’analisi agli elementi finiti delle
tensioni e deformazioni (FEM) e viene prodotta in PVC-U
K62 e PVC-C CorzanTM, sfruttando le più recenti tecnologie
di stampaggio per iniezione. Questa valvola garantisce
pressioni di esercizio fino a 16 bar a 20 °C in accordo alla
norma ISO 9393 ed è conforme alla Direttiva Europea
97/23/CE per attrezzature a pressione PED, certificata
dall’istituto Pascal (1115). Le dimensioni e le quote di
installazione della valvola rispondono ai requisiti delle
normative internazionali ISO 7508 “Serie III” ed europee
EN 1452”short”. Il corpo valvola è realizzato per il
montaggio radiale sulle tubazioni ed è garantita la
completa intercambiabilità con i precedenti modelli di
valvole a sfera FIP serie VX o VB.
VX Easyfit ball valve has been designed through the stress
and strain analysis (FEM) and is made of PVC-U K62
and PVC-C CorzanTM resin employing the most up to date
injection moulding technology. The valve can withstand
working pressure up to 16 bar at 20 °C according to
ISO 9393 International Standards and complies
the European Directives 97/23/CE for pressure equipments
PED, certified by the Pascal Institute (1115).
Installation and overall dimensions are in accordance with
the requirements of ISO 7508 “Series III” International
Standards and EN 1452 “ Short” European Standards.
The valve body is designed for true union installation
and is fully interchangeable with the previous FIP ball valves
models type VX and type VB.

La valvola è dotata di supporto regolabile delle tenute
della sfera direttamente avvitato al corpo valvola.
Il supporto garantisce adeguata sicurezza durante
le operazioni di manutenzione, quando occorra smontare le
ghiere dal corpo valvola in presenza di fluidi
all’interno delle tubazioni.
La regolazione e la rimozione del supporto stesso sono
agevolmente effettuabili tramite l’impiego della maniglia
multifunzione in dotazione alla valvola.
Le tenute della sfera sono in PTFE, mentre le
guarnizioni tipo O-ring, in EPDM o FPM, sono idonee al
convogliamento di acqua e molti altri fluidi compatibili.
The VX Easyfit ball valve is equipped with a safe blocked and
adjustable ball seat carrier. The carrier is made in one piece and
screwed into the valve body. During maintenance
in depressurized pipelines it is possible to unscrew one single
union nut and disconnect the downstream or the upstream
pipe end from valve body with valve in closed position,
without fluid leakage.
The ball seat carrier should be removed only with the
multifunctional handle, which also grants the ball seats
adjustment. Ball seats are made by compression moulding
of PTFE and the EPDM or FPM O-ring seals are suitable
to convey water and harmless fluids.

La valvola VX Easyfit prevede l’utilizzo di otturatori sferici di
tipo flottante. La sfera e lo stelo di manovra sono realizzati
in centri di lavoro CNC per ottenere precise tolleranze
dimensionali ed elevate finiture con totale assenza
di imperfezioni superficiali dalle zone di tenuta.
I componenti della valvola sono assemblati in isole di
lavoro robotizzate e le tenute della valvola totalmente
controllate con aria pressurizzata.
The VX Easyfit ball valve is designed with floating ball
obturating system. The valve stem and ball are fully
machined after moulding by automatic CNC tool-machines
achieving high surface finishing, removing all possible
surface imperfections and giving accurate
dimensional tolerances.
All valve components are fully robotic assembled and the
complete valve is air tested in open and closed position.

I set LSE contengono speciali etichette circolari autoadesive
pre-fustellate su fogli di polietilene, formato A4.
Nella confezione è incluso anche il CD-Rom con il software per
la composizione delle etichette e la gestione delle stampanti.

Maniglia multifunzione Multi functional handle
La valvola VX Easyfit è dotata di una maniglia di manovra
progettata e realizzata per eseguire un avanzato numero
di funzioni. La maniglia, oltre a garantire un’ottima
manovrabilità, è caratterizzata da un ingombro ridotto
ed è uno dei componenti principali del meccanismo di
regolazione del serraggio delle ghiere Easyfit.
La maniglia, infatti, può essere estratta dallo stelo
ed inserita nuovamente sullo stesso in posizione
capovolta, dopo aver rimosso il tappo di protezione.
Si ottiene così un ingaggio con l’ingranaggio presente sulla
ghiera e si può procedere al serraggio o allo svitamento della
ghiera stessa tramite la semplice rotazione della maniglia.
La maniglia può anche essere usata come attrezzo
per lo smontaggio, il montaggio o la regolazione
del supporto delle tenute della sfera.
Per questa funzione, occorre rimuovere la maniglia
dallo stelo di manovra e posizionare gli appositi inserti
presenti sulla sua parte inferiore, nelle opportune sedi
ricavate nel supporto e procedere all’avvitamento
o allo svitamento del supporto stesso.
The new VX Easyfit handle is designed to make advanced
service functions.
The compact design handle provides very good
manoeuvrability and is one of the core components
of the nut gear tightening Easyfit.
The handle can be removed from valve stem, turned upside
down and repositioned on the stem after pulling out the
service plug. Pawls of nut gear are easily engaged and it
is possible to tighten or un-tighten the union nut simply
rotating the handle. VX Easyfit handle is also provided with
moulded-in inserts that allow the user to dismount, install or
adjust the ball seat carrier into the valve body.
The handle should be removed from the stem and used as a
tool to screw or unscrew the ball seat carrier after engaging
the inserts into the carrier. No need for additional tool.
VX Easyfit handle is fully compatible with all the products
of Easyfit Labeling System.
The handle incorporates the transparent service plug
with tag holder LCE Module.
