La Covre nasce nel 1980, riesce da subito a imporsi come azienda leader
nella lavorazione del cuoio, grazie agli altissimi livelli di specializzazione
che caratterizzano ogni singola produzione. La cura apposta in ogni minimo
dettaglio di ognuna delle produzioni Covre, dai più piccoli fino
ai più elaborati, è affiancata oggi alla creazione di oggetti disegnati
in base alle esigenze di ogni singolo consumatore e rispondente ai
requisiti oggi maggiormente richiesti.
Covre was founded in 1980 by failing to immediately establish itself
as a leader in the manufacturing of leather thanks to the high levels of
specialization that characterize each individual production. The care affixed
to every little detail of each of the productions Covre, from the smallest
to the most elaborate, is flanked today the creation of objects designed
according to the needs of each individual consumer and meeting the
requirements most in demand today.

Marina Bani e Marco Penati sono i progettisti di Archimede, Pitagora ed Euclide.
La loro storia di designers è ricca e varia. Attraverso l’attività dello Studio Sigla, da loro fondato
nel 1997, hanno collaborato con multinazionali dell’industria come Pirelli Sapsa, Pyrex,
Saint Gobain Glass e Bormioli Rocco per la progettazione di oggetti di largo consumo.
Hanno allestito mostre e arredi d’interni in Europa, Russia e Giappone.
Per aziende di diversa natura e dimensione hanno condotto laboratori di progetto in
Spagna, Turchia, Grecia e Francia, allo scopo di introdurre la cultura e i metodi del design italiano.
I loro prodotti figurano o hanno figurato nei cataloghi delle più prestigiose aziende del design
italiano come Arflex, Baleri Italia, Desalto, Fontana Arte, Flou, Tisettanta, Zanotta.
Nel campo dell’arredamento classico hanno firmato collezioni complete per Colombostile e Medea.
In particolare per Colombostile hanno progettato e curato l’engineering della collezione Elits’
che è costituita da oggetti d’arredo completamente rivestiti in cuoio. Vivono e lavorano in Brianza,
nel cuore del distretto italiano del design e del mobile.
Marina Bani and Marco Penati are the designers that created Archimede, Pitagora and Euclide.
Their history as designers is rich and varied. After founding their design studio in 1997, Studio
Sigla, they have collaborated with various multinational companies in this sector such as Pirelli
Sapsa, Pyrex, Saint Gobain Glass and Bormioli Rocco for the development of consumer goods.
They designed and realised exhibitions and furniture in Europe, Russia and Japan. They created
workshops for various companies in Spain, Turkey, Greece and France with the aim of introducing
in those countries the culture and the methods of the Italian design. Their creations have been
-and still are- present in the catalogues of some the most prestigious companies of the Italian design
such as Arflex, Baleri Italia, Desalto, Fontana Arte, Flou, Tisettanta, Zanotta. In the field of the
traditional furniture they have created some collections for Colombostile and Medea. In particular,
on behalf of Colombostile they projected and implemented the engineering of the collection Elits’,
which is composed of furnishing objects completely covered in leather. They both live and work
in Brianza, the heart of the Italian design and furniture district.

La collezione Leonardo è una proposta completa di ambiente che si integra con
le precedenti collezioni Covre, ampliando e arricchendo la proposta di tipologie e finiture.
I materiali, oltre al cuoio, proposto nella versione color bronzo, sono: il metallo
trattato con finitura bronzo spazzolato e l’ebano Makassar laccato poliestere brillante.
La gamma di tipologie comprende: un divano classico capitonnè con poltrone,
un tavolo con sedie con e senza braccioli, un mobile bar con attrezzature
interne particolarmente studiate, una madia con ante e cassetti, una parete
attrezzata per video e hi-fi con ampia ribalta per apparati tecnici, una
singolare lampada da tavolo antropomorfica, un letto con comodini e comò.
Sono possibili altre finiture del metallo o del legno a richiesta del cliente,
come pure variazioni dimensionali o tipologiche.
The Leonardo collection is a comprehensive range of environment that
integrates with the previous collections Covre, expanding and enriching the
proposed types and finishes. The materials, in addition to the leather version
proposed in bronze, are: the treated metal with brushed bronze finish and Makassar
ebony lacquered glossy polyester. The range of types includes: a classic sofa with
tufted seating, a table and chairs with and without armrests, a cocktail cabinet
with indoor facilities particularly studied, a cupboard with doors and drawers,
a wall system for video and hi-fi with a large flap for technical equipment,
a unique table lamp anthropomorphic, one bed with bedside tables and
chest of drawers. Other finishings metal or wood at the request of the
customer, as well as dimensional changes, or typological.

La collezione Galileo è un ambiente notte compiuto e si armonizza con il sistema
armadi Archimede, completando l’offerta della camera da letto. Ne fanno parte
un letto con testiera e sponde in cuoio e pelle, una panca contenitore con apertura
doppia, uno scrittoio completo di cassetti e ribalte, una poltrona relax con
schienale alto e poggiatesta, regolabile in altezza e oscillante, con relativo pouf.
Tutti i mobili sono personalizzabili con finiture e accostamenti nei colori
della cartella.
The Galileo collection is a full night bedroom set and matches the “Archimede”
cabin wardrobe system, this completing bedroom offer. The bed has a high-head
and edges covered in leather, a multipurpose chest with double opening is also
included in the set, as well as a desk complete with drawers and flaps.
Galileo includes also a relaxing armchair with high back and headrest that can
be set in height and in reclination. A pouf matches the armchair. All forniture can
be customised with finishing and combination in the available colours.

ARCHIMEDE è una cabina armadio multifunzionale, unica nel suo genere, per
dare un tocco di eleganza sia in casa che in negozio. Un sistema di scaffalatura
attrezzata per cabina armadio, negozi ed alberghi interamente in cuoio. Tutte
le qualità di questo materiale sono esaltate dalla finezza e dalla sapienza con
cui sono risolte le finiture, le cuciture, le bordature. Ogni singolo componente è
rifinito a mano secondo le regole dell’antica tradizione della selleria italiana.
La struttura è costituita da materiali diversi, quali alluminio, acciaio, vetro
temperato. Particolarmente innovativo è l’uso del vetro temperato abbinato al
cuoio, che consente di ottenere ripiani di sottile spessore ma di robusta tenuta.
Le declinazioni formali e funzionali sono infinite, alternando con creatività
i componenti si ottengono soluzioni personalizzate. L’accostamento di colori
e finiture di cuoio diverse accentua ancora di più questa peculiarità che
ARCHIMEDE offre ai progettisti. I moduli in orizzontale sono da 60/90 cm,
mentre in altezza si raggiungono i 3 mt o la misura richiesta. Una volta applicati
i montanti a parete tutte le altre operazioni sono a scatto o a gancio, tutti gli
elementi sono riposizionabili.
ARCHIMEDE is a multifunctional walk-in closet, unique in its type, to give
a touch of elegance in the home or shop. A system of shelves specific for cabin
wardrobes, shops and hotels completely covered in eco-leather. All the qualities of
this material are highlighted by the fineness and the skilfulness with which the
finishings, the stitching and the borders are completed. Every single component
is hand finished according to the rules of the ancient Italian leather production
tradition. The frame is composed of various materials, such as aluminium, steel,
and tempered glass. The formal and functional variants are endless: by creatively
alternating its components, it is possibile to obtain personalised solutions.
The matching of various colours and finishing in leather highlights further
more this adaptability that ARCHIMEDE offers the designers. The horizontal
modules are 60/90cm, whilst it is possible to reach 3m in height. The customer’s
required measure is delivered. Once the wall frames have been installed, all the
components are easily positioned and can be repositioned at any time.

La collezione di porte Euclide è una proposta innovativa di applicazione
della pelle e del cuoio. Possono essere in pelle, lavorate a bassorilievo con
una tecnica esclusiva made in Covre. Oppure in cuoio, con diverse soluzioni
ad intarsio, arricchite da cuciture in tinta. Sono interamente rivestite sulle
facciate, i battenti e gli stipiti con i relativi coprifili. Le cerniere sono invisibili.
Possono essere reversibili nel montaggio. Le maniglie sono in fusione di
alluminio con l’impugnatura in cuoio o pelle. La serratura ha il cricchetto
magnetico, per cui non è in vista a porta aperta. Possono essere personalizzate
a richiesta del cliente con decori esclusivi e accostamenti di diverse
finiture nei colori della cartella.
The indoor doors collection “Euclide” is an innovative leather application.
The doors can be in leather decorated in bas-relief with an exclusive technique
developed by Covre. They can also be in leather with different decorations
and engravings and enriched with colour matching stitching.
The doors are fully covered in leather on both sides as well as the doorposts
and their related wire coveres. The doors hinges are invisible. The doors can also
be reversible upon assembling. The handles are made of cast alluminium
covered in leather. The door has a magnetic locking system which is not in sight
when the door is open. All doors can be customised upon request with
exclusive decorations and different finishing in the colour range available.
