So weiß jeder gleich, was verändert wurde. 3849_OrientalBazaar_v90.indd 5 31/03/10 10.32 BUILD Visit the Oriental Bazaar to discover the many exotic items for sale at the colourful market stalls. Spend your gold coins wisely and make your fortune by selling collections of matching items for the biggest profit! Gold goblet Bazaar Market stall Bank Gold coin Item LEGO® Dice Aim of the game Be the first player to have 15 gold coins. Setting up the game Before you start playing, build the game using the LEGO® building instructions provided in the set. Building the game teaches you more about the pieces and how you can use them. This makes it easier to rebuild or change the rules of your game later on. Build the LEGO Dice using the coloured tiles shown below: Each player takes 3 gold coins from the bank. 3849_OrientalBazaar_v90.indd 6 This set includes a tool to help you take tiles off the LEGO Dice. 31/03/10 10.32 PLAY Playing the game The youngest player starts. Play then continues clockwise. On your turn roll the LEGO® Dice and carry out ONE of the following: • Carry out one of the actions you rolled OR • Sell items of one colour from your collection and earn gold coins. Bazaar • Move the bazaar and place it over one of the market stalls. The covered market stall is now closed AND • If there is a gold goblet available, pay one gold coin to the bank and take one gold goblet from the bazaar and add it to your collection in a pile next to y ou. Buy an item from a market stall Pay one gold coin to the bank and take one item in a colour you rolled from an open market stall and add it to your collection in a pile next to you. Whenever you buy the last item from a market stall immediately refill the stall with items from the middle of the table that match the colour of the stall. You cannot buy an item from a market stall if it has been closed by the bazaar. Trade Trade one item from your collection with any item from another player’s collection. You choose which items get traded. Selling one or more items If you roll the LEGO Dice and decide not to take one of the actions above, you may instead sell one or more items of one colour from your collection. A gold goblet ís a joker and can be sold as part of a set of any colour. When you sell coloured items, return them to the middle of the table. When you sell gold goblets, return them to the bazaar. The bank pays the following number of gold coins for your items: Sell 1 item and earn 1 gold coin. Sell 2 items of the same colour and earn 3 gold coins. Sell 3 items of the same colour and earn 6 gold coins. Sell 4 items of the same colour and earn 9 gold coins. Sell 5 items of the same colour and earn 12 gold coins. Winning the game The first player to have 15 gold coins wins the game! 3849_OrientalBazaar_v90.indd 7 The LEGO® tilt The best way to pick up your LEGO pieces is by tilting them before you pick them up. 31/03/10 10.32 CHANGE YOUR GAME – YOUR RULES The LEGO® Dice gives you the freedom to change the game and make it your own. You can change the playing area, the pieces and even the rules. Every little change makes it more and more YOUR game. The secret to changing a game is to change only one thing at a time. That way, you can see if the change makes the game more fun. If it does, keep it and then try another. Changing a game is always more fun when done together. That way everyone knows the rules and what is being changed. Remember to make sure everyone playing is aware of any new rules BEFORE you start playing. Now that you know how to play the game using our rules, try one of the following suggestions to change the game, and then try to make a change of your own. Two-colour items Rebuild eight of the items to look like this: Now, when you refill a market stall, you may choose to use a two-colour item if one of its colours matches the colour of the stall. Two-colour items can be sold as part of a set of items of either colour. Buying a market stall Now, when you roll ‘Buy an item from a market stall’, instead of buying an item you may buy one of the market stalls in one of the colours. The price for a market stall is 4 gold coins. When another player buys an item from your market stall you keep the gold coin, and when you are able to buy an item from your own market stall, you can do so without paying. You cannot choose to sell your market stall once bought, but other players may choose to buy your market stall and pay you 4 gold coins, if they roll the colour of your market stall. Good deal G Replace the two black tiles on the black face of the LEGO Dice with a gold coin. R Now when you roll the gold coin, you take one gold coin from the bank. N Invent and share your own rules Challenge yourself, and see which new rules you can create. If they work, upload your “house rules” of the game to games.LEGO.co.uk and share them with others. Or check out what others have created and try playing the game using their house rules. Go online! games.LEGO.co.uk is packed with cool features. There is a short video showing you how to play this game and all of the other exciting LEGO Games. You can also find more fantastic ways to Build, Play and Change your games. Coupe d’or Stand doré Stand Banque Pièce d’or Objet Dé LEGO® But du jeu Le premier joueur qui rassemble 15 pièces d’or remporte la partie. Vendi 2 oggetti dello stesso colore e guadagni 3 monete d’oro. Vendi 3 oggetti dello stesso colore e guadagni 6 monete d’oro. Vendi 4 oggetti dello stesso colore e guadagni 9 monete d’oro. Vendi 5 oggetti dello stesso colore e guadagni 12 monete d’oro. Chi vince?
